The Capital One Orange Bowl has been played in Miami since 1935, making it the second-oldest bowl game in college football. Miami will make history by hosting Florida's first-ever outdoor NHL game as part of the league's iconic Winter Classic—and it's happening in true Miami style, inside loanDepot park, a venue typically home to Major League Baseball. Update on Alabama football start times vs SEC opponents for 2025 season
Update on Alabama football start times vs SEC opponents for 2025 season Alabama-Georgia kickoff time, TV channel announced. Crimson Tide matchup vs. LSU will be night game. Alabama football provided some new information related to start times against its 2025 SEC opponents Wednesday. The highly anticipated showdown between the Crimson Tide and Georgia Bulldogs, set for Sept. 27 at Sanford Stadium in Athens, will kick off in prime time. Similar to last season's matchup at Bryant-Denny Stadium, Alabama-UGA is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT. The game will be televised on ABC. The Crimson Tide defeated the Bulldogs, 41-34, in coach Kalen DeBoer's first big test as head coach last year. Alabama's game at Missouri on Oct. 11 will be an 11 a.m. CT kickoff on either ABC or ESPN. The Crimson Tide will be making their first visit to Faurot Field since Nick Saban's 2020 national championship team opened the pandemic-shortened season there on Sept. 26 with a 38-19 victory. Not surprisingly, Alabama's annual showdown with LSU on Nov. 8 will also be a night game. Although an official kickoff time was not announced Wednesday, the game will kick off at either 5 p.m. or 7 p.m. Alabama's matchups with Vanderbilt and SEC rivals Tennessee and Auburn were given the 'flex' window tag, essentially meaning the conference and ESPN haven't decided on official start times. For now, the tag simply means that Alabama won't be playing its two biggest rivals at 11 a.m. Additionally, the Crimson Tide's Nov. 22 game against Eastern Illinois in Tuscaloosa was announced as a 1 p.m. start. The game will only be available for streaming via ESPN+ and SEC Network+ Prior to Wednesday's updates, Alabama announced its Week 1 kickoff against Florida State at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee on Aug. 30 would be a 2:30 p.m. start on ABC. The Crimson Tide will face Louisiana-Monroe the following week at 6:45 p.m. on SEC Network. Alabama's game against Wisconsin on Sept. 13 will kick off at 11 a.m. and be televised on ABC or ESPN.
