Police investigate fire at Conor McGregor's pub, suspect intentional criminal act
According to multiple reports including The Irish Independent, the fire began the early morning hours in Dublin. Police and fire responded to the scene where the blaze was extinguished. No injuries were reported.
However, authorities say they think the fire was set with malicious intent.
Video of smoke bellowing out of the establishment was posted on social media.
Black Forge Inn has arson history
Friday's incident isn't the first time McGregor's pub has caught fire since he purchased it for $2 million in 2020.
In 2022, another incident of arson occurred with subjects throwing a petrol bomb at the building. While a fire had been started, the bomb did not ignite.
Conor McGregor's chill response
McGregor referenced the incident multiple times on social media in the hours that followed Friday's fire.
In a since-deleted Instagram post, McGregor seemed unconcerned by Friday's events.
"The pub is open for business today, folks," McGregor said (h/t Daily Mail). "You wouldn't get through it with a rocket launcher. She's spotless. Up the Forge! Built different baby."
On X, he posted an aerial shot of the Black Forge Inn, which appeared to still be in good shape.
"Unbeatable," McGregor wrote.

Hannah Spearritt and Louie Spence withdraw from Celebrity SAS in first episode
S Club 7 singer Hannah Spearritt and former TV dancer Louie Spence have withdrawn from Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins in the first episode of the latest series. The Channel 4 military reality show opened with the 14 celebrity recruits hooded and standing on a breakwater, before they were asked for their identities by chief instructor Billy Billingham – who told many of the celebrities 'don't grin at me'. He then led them on two tasks, the first to plunge 26ft into the water and swim to intercept a boat, which picked them up, and the second to rescue three hostages from a building before blowing it up with a grenade. Before the second challenge began, Spearritt, 44, handed over her number tag to directing staff, telling them 'I'm done, I'm sorry, I've reached a point' – and in a pre-recorded interview which was played after her withdrawal, she said 'I don't think I'll go on the first day' adding she 'wouldn't forgive myself'. During the task, Spence, who is best known for Sky TV show Pineapple Dance Studios, threw a grenade into the building while it still had two hostages in it, and afterwards told the directing staff he wished to withdraw, and was given a second chance to put his armband back on, but turned it down. Spence said: 'I want to do an immediate withdrawal, I just don't have the conviction, and I feel as though I'm not dedicated enough.' He was told that he 'hadn't even started', but Spence replied 'that's what I mean'. After the first task, former model Rebecca Loos was pulled in by directing staff after she gave up during the swimming challenge, who asked her to open up on her alleged affair with footballer Sir David Beckham, who she worked for as a personal assistant, during the interrogation. In an interview before the first task, former Drag Race UK star Bimini Bon Boulash said the show would be 'a piece of piss' after growing up as a queer person in Norfolk. After the second task, former Watford striker Troy Deeney, who also threw a grenade into the building before clearing the hostages, was pulled in by the instructors, where he opened up on physical abuse he and his mother received from his late father. The show sees celebrities enter SAS training, where they are not eliminated and are instead culled by the directing staff or able to withdraw themselves, with those who remain at the end declared the winners. The rest of the celebrity recruits are made up of ex-drug mule Michaella McCollum, former footballer Adebayo Akinfenwa, Strictly Come Dancing 2025 runner-up Tasha Ghouri, former The Traitors winner Harry Clark, rapper Lady Leshurr, boxer Conor Benn, singer Lucy Spraggan, and ex-Love Island contestants Chloe Burrows and Adam Collard. Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins continues on Channel 4 on Monday at 9pm.

State Trooper Is Said to Be a Suspect in 2 Fatal Shootings
A New Jersey state trooper who previously was a supervisor on the governor's protection detail is suspected of killing his former girlfriend and a man in Hunterdon County before killing himself, according to two people briefed on the investigation. The deaths were discovered around 12:20 p.m. on Saturday, when local police officers responded to a 911 call in the Pittstown section of Franklin Township made by someone who had found an unconscious woman with physical trauma. The officers found two people who had been fatally shot in what investigators believe was a targeted act, according to the Hunterdon County prosecutor's office, which released a statement on Sunday. Investigators identified the victims as Lauren Semanchik, 33, of Pittstown, and Tyler Webb, 29, of Forked River. The two victims were found in Ms. Semanchik's home. While the prosecutor's office did not name a suspect, he was identified by a person familiar with the investigation as Ricardo Santos, a state trooper and Ms. Semanchik's ex-boyfriend. A second person familiar with the investigation confirmed the name of the suspect. Officer Santos had served several years ago in the State Police's executive protection unit on Gov. Philip D. Murphy's detail. More recently, he was assigned to the agency's dignitary protection unit, which guards other important people in the state government, one of the people said. He was found dead in a vehicle in Johnson Park in Piscataway, N.J., on Saturday, according to one of the people familiar with the investigation. The local police in Piscataway referred questions to the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office, which was closed for the weekend. Deanna Semanchik, Ms. Semanchik's sister, said in an interview Sunday that the trooper had been harassing Ms. Semanchik in recent weeks. She said the two had dated for only a few months earlier this year, but that he would not leave her alone. 'She was the most empathetic person I have ever met,' Deanna Semanchik said. 'She just had such a big heart.' Lauren Semanchik, a veterinarian, owned the home where the shooting occurred, property records show. Mr. Webb was a volunteer firefighter, according to the Pinewald Pioneer Fire Company, which announced his death in a Facebook post Sunday. A spokeswoman for the New Jersey attorney general's office, which oversees the State Police, said that the office was devastated by the tragedies and extended sympathies to the victims' families and loved ones. A spokesman for Mr. Murphy said that the governor's office was shocked by the killings. Neighbors in Pittstown reported Sunday in a local Facebook group that there was a heavy police presence on Upper Kingtown Road, near where the bodies were found. Members of the New Jersey governor's security detail are assigned to guard the governor and his family around the clock, including at their home in Middletown and at Drumthwacket, the executive mansion in Princeton. While on the detail, Officer Santos worked as a trusted supervisor, records show. Susan C. Beachy contributed research.

Victims of Montana bar shooting identified as manhunt for military veteran suspect continues
Officials have identified the four victims who were shot and killed when an Army veteran allegedly opened fire at The Owl Bar in Anaconda, Montana, on Friday morning. At about 10:30 a.m. on Friday, 45-year-old Michael Brown allegedly entered The Owl Bar and opened fire, killing 59-year-old Daniel Edwin Baillie, 64-year-old Nancy Lauretta Kelley, 70-year-old David Allen Leach, and 74-year-old Tony Wayne Palm, all of whom were residents of Anaconda. Brown remains at large as search efforts continue in the Stumptown area, just west of Anaconda, where the suspect was last seen. Authorities released a photo of Brown on Saturday, showing him barefoot and shirtless, walking down a flight of steps. The photo showed Brown wearing black shorts and fleeing after the shooting Friday, according to the state Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI). It is unclear what led to the shooting. DCI Administrator Lee Johnson said in a statement Friday evening that officials had located the white F-150 pickup truck in which Brown allegedly fled. However, Brown was not located in or around the vehicle. After discovering the vehicle, authorities focused their search on the mountains near Stumptown Road. The search continued into Sunday and has involved air and ground resources. SWAT also cleared Brown's house Friday, though he remained at large. Law enforcement officials have not received reports of Brown harming any other people, though he is believed to be armed and dangerous. Residents in the area have been encouraged to stay inside their homes and remain on high alert. DCI has warned residents that if they see Brown not to approach him. Instead, residents are encouraged to call 911 immediately. He has been described as 5-foot-10 and about 170 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair. Brown was an armor crewman in the Army from January 2001 to May 2005 and served in the National Guard from April 2006 to March 2008, Army Public Affairs confirmed to Fox News Digital. He deployed to Iraq from February 2004 to March 2005 and left the service with the rank of sergeant. He also served as an armor crewman in the Montana National Guard from April 2006 to March 2009, officials said.
