Bar security says 'I will put pressure on your f***ing neck' as man is pinned to the ground
A member of security staff has been suspended after he was filmed making sickening threats to a man who had been pinned to the ground following an altercation outside a bar
A member of bar security staff was heard threatening and swearing at a man they had pinned to the ground after an altercation in Manchester's Gay Village.
An incident unfolded in Manchester's Gay Village, where security staff at a bar were caught on camera threatening and hurling abuse at a man they had pinned to the ground during an altercation.
The altercation, which occurred outside Bar Pop on Canal Street around 1.50 am on the recent Bank Holiday Monday, was captured in footage shared with the Manchester Evening News. The video depicts five security staff members restraining a man on the pavement.
A witness contacted the police recalling how that the man seemed 'very intoxicated' and allegedly 'tried to punch' a bouncer before being subdued. However, they labelled the conduct of an employee from CandD Security Ltd as 'disgusting'.
In the video snippet, a female security staffer is overheard snapping "shut your mouth" followed by the threat, "I will put pressure on your f***ing neck". There's a noticeable movement suggesting she applies force onto his neck area, reports the Manchester Evening News.
While her colleagues maintain their grip on the individual, the woman said: "How dare you f***ing assault my f***ing door staff. Thinking you're hard? I've had bigger people than you for my f***ing breakfast."
One patron who experienced the scene on a night out noted that despite the man's initial aggression post a 'kerfuffle' with a doorman, his inebriated state rendered him relatively immobile, reiterating that 'he wasn't going anywhere'. The eyewitness has reported this matter to the authorities.

He recounted: "A gent came out of the bar and he had a kerfuffle with one of the bouncers. Yes, he did swing for him but he was so out of it that he completely missed. The bouncers threw him to the floor and multiple people jumped on top of him - at this point I thought it was justified.
"But after a good five minutes of him being on the floor, when he was shouting, one of the female door staff members dropped her body camera and was screaming at him about putting pressure on his neck and swearing at him and being aggressive.
"It was disgusting. He wasn't going anywhere, as there were so many of them pinning him down. In a place like Canal Street where you are supposed to feel really safe and people like this have a contract for the doors, it's not right."
Greater Manchester Police have confirmed receiving an assault report and confirm that the investigation is ongoing. Meanwhile, a related staff member has been placed on suspension by the security firm.
When approached with these allegations, a spokesperson for CandD security said: "We are aware of the incident, and the individual involved has been suspended from work pending further investigation. We are currently cooperating fully with GMP in this matter."

Dog walker who 'pushed cyclist into canal' says she was in the wrong
Dog walker who 'pushed cyclist into canal' says she was in the wrong The dog walker accused of pushing a cyclist into a canal has spoken out to deny the allegations - and says the woman was 'in the wrong' in the row over who was at fault The moment before a cyclist was 'pushed into Ashton Canal by a dog walker' (Image: Kennedy News and Media) A dog walker embroiled in a controversy after being accused of shoving a cyclist into a canal in Greater Manchester has broken his silence on the matter. Captured on the cyclist's camera, the video shows Klaudia Mitura, 34, halting her bike near a couple on the Ashton Canal towpath as a man seems to yell at her to "slow down". Klaudia is heard asserting that they have a dog, to which the man sharply responds "yeah but you're on a f**king bike". The altercation escalates with the man labelling her "a f***king idiot", followed by the footage capturing Klaudia's plunge into the canal. Klaudia, a Manchester resident, alleges she was pushed and expresses her fear of drowning due to her feet being clipped into the bike pedals, complicating her escape from the water. The incident sparked a deluge of comments and reactions on the Manchester Evening News website and its Facebook page, with readers fervently debating who was at fault. The dog walker, keen to clarify the situation, has now come forward. The 35 year old Dukinfield local, who wished to remain anonymous, refutes the accusation of pushing Klaudia, insisting instead that she hit him with her handlebar, reports the Manchester Evening News (MEN). In an interview with the MEN, he said: "I was out with my girlfriend who's 26 weeks pregnant. We were walking down the canal, as you do." He continued, describing his alarm as a woman approached at what he deemed an excessive speed, fearing for the safety of his partner and pet. He concluded, "She's carried on to ride towards me. Then she's clipped me with the handle bars and she's gone into the canal. I didn't push her." Klaudia, a mother-of-two who was on her regular cycling journey to work, said she believed she could have perished as she is unable to swim. She explained that she stood on a stone and remained in the waterway for five minutes until someone walking by noticed her and assisted her out. The machine operator, who hails from Poland, alleges that the pair did glance back to see if she was alright or whether she was drowning. Nevertheless, the man she has accused of shoving her into the canal refutes this and maintains that she did not seem to want his assistance. He said: "After it happened, I turned around. I said to her 'are you okay?' She told me to f**k off. "She was stood up. She wasn't stood on a rock. The canal was waist high." He added: "She was totally in the wrong. I'm just a normal working guy like anybody else but at the moment I'm just being slandered." Greater Manchester Police are investigating the incident. Article continues below
