Files added, 'C said she thought it would be a knife.' Kohberger then asked, 'something to the effect of 'like a Ka Bar?'' Police later confirmed that Kohberger had bought that exact brand of military-style knife on Amazon months before the murders.
The woman said she Googled the knife and eventually cut off contact with him because his questions creeped her out. It's unclear when she gave the tip to the police. The files said there was 'nothing to corroborate' her story since she no longer had access to her Tinder account. Still, her story was one of many tips police looked into during the investigation.

Bryan Kohberger accepted a plea deal to avoid the death penalty
The documents came out just hours after Kohberger, who took a plea deal to avoid the death penalty, was sentenced to four life terms for murdering Idaho University students Xana Kernodle, Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, and Ethan Chapin on Nov. 13, 2022.
As per recent reports, Kaylee Goncalves was brutally killed, and her face was left 'disfigured' beyond recognition. She fought through a violent struggle with Xana Kernodle before fleeing the scene.

State broadcaster IRIB aired what it claimed was Vadi's confession video. In the video, Vadi accepted that he supplied details about sensitive facilities like the uranium enrichment plants at Fordow and Natanz, as well as operations at the Uranium Conversion Facility (UCF) and the Fuel Manufacturing Plant (FMP). 'The entry and exit of nuclear material into the Uranium Conversion Facility (UCF) and Fuel Manufacturing Plant (FMP) were very important to them," Vadi said while referring to his Mossad contacts. Vadi also admitted to meeting Mossad agents five times in Vienna, where he was allegedly instructed to create a cryptocurrency account for receiving payments. He claimed Mossad promised him a foreign passport in exchange for long-term cooperation. IRIB also shared a screenshot of a research paper Vadi co-authored in 2012 at an Iranian nuclear conference, alongside Ahmad Zolfaqar and Abdolhamid Minouchehr—two nuclear scientists reportedly killed in Israel's June strikes. South Korea's ex-first lady faces arrest warrant over corruption allegations
South Korean prosecutors on Thursday requested an arrest warrant for former first lady Kim Keon Hee, a day after questioning her over a litany of allegations, including bribery and stock manipulation.
