Anshul Bammi and Ankit Raizada's impromptu Kolkata
After wrapping up their year-long stint on Advocate Anjali Awasthi, actors Anshul Bammi and Ankit Raizada marked the end of the chapter on the show. With the show taking a leap, the actors finished their last shoot in Kolkata and made an impromptu plan to drive back home by taking a 2200 km road trip from Kolkata to Mumbai.
Anshul says, 'It was the first time doing a proper long road trip like this. We have never driven so far. After wrapping up a full year on the show, this felt like the perfect way to sign off — to disconnect from the usual set life and reconnect with real moments on the road.'
The journey began on June 28, and the duo reached Mumbai on July 2. They told us, "Rather than rushing through, we planned stopovers in Banaras and Pench National Park.
The trip was all about soaking in the experience, with the monsoon only adding to its charm."
The two further added, 'There wasn't a fixed plan. Everything was spontaneous — from the routes to the stays. A mix of good music, roadside food, chai in the rain, and the open road kept things going. Monsoon made the whole experience even better — lush views, cloudy skies, and that peaceful vibe you don't get in daily life. It wasn't about managing — it was about flowing with the journey.'

Ankit Raizada advocates for environmental consciousness on World Nature Conservation Day
Actor Ankit Raizada, currently seen as Aman Singh Rajput in the television show Advocate Anjali Awasthi, used the occasion of World Nature Conservation Day to emphasize the urgent need for environmental awareness and action. Known for his work in shows like Jodha Akbar, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, and Rabb Se Hai Dua, Ankit shared a heartfelt message about reconnecting with nature and embracing conscious living. 'I truly believe that nature doesn't need us — we need it,' Ankit said. 'It teaches us calm, balance, and the art of living in harmony. For me, it's not just about appreciating nature, but protecting it in whatever little way I can. Whether it's avoiding plastic, planting whenever possible, conserving water, or simply respecting every living being—I try to stay connected and conscious. And nature is not just around us, it lives within us… and it's our duty to nurture it back. ' Highlighting the growing strain on Earth's resources, Ankit stressed the importance of collective effort. 'As human activity has made a huge impact on the environment, particularly through depleting natural resources and adding pollution, it is necessary for people to offer more care and pay more attention to preserve the planet for future generations,' he said. 'Many people don't realize that the small efforts they make on a daily basis, when combined with others, can make a huge impact on the future of the planet. ' He concluded with a strong reminder: 'After experiencing the COVID-19 pandemic, it's high time to be responsible. Let's make a difference in our regular activities and show the Earth how vital it is by caring for it in a multitude of ways!' Ankit's message is a call to action—a reminder that real change begins with individual awareness and consistent action.

Anshul Bammi returns to the TV show Advocate Anjali Awasthi, says, 'I'm excited to be back'
Anshul Bammi reprises his role in 'Aarti Anjali Awasthi' after a 20-year leap. His character, responsible for the lead couple's tragedy, faces the journalist daughter seeking revenge. The actress now plays dual roles as both mother and daughter. Actor Anshul Bammi is back on the sets of Advocate Anjali Awasthi , a show that's taken a dramatic 20-year leap and is now titled Aarti Anjali Awasthi . His character, who was earlier written off after a major plot twist, has made a comeback in the new storyline. 'Before the leap, I orchestrated an accident for the lead couple. The hero dies, the heroine and her daughter survive. But now, the mother has lost her senses, and the daughter—who is now the new heroine and a journalist—is seeking revenge from me for her parents' condition,' Anshul explains. Interestingly, the female lead is now playing a dual role—both as the mother and the daughter—and the current plot revolves around her and Anshul's character. 'Some bonds are hard to break, and this show was one of them,' he shares. 'The love from the team and the audience stayed with me, and when the opportunity came to return, it felt like coming home.' While many actors hesitate to return to old projects, Anshul saw it as a chance to build on a character he wasn't quite done with. 'The story has evolved beautifully, and I genuinely feel there's more to explore with my character. I'm excited to be back and contribute wholeheartedly once again.'
