QC churches opens doors to evacuees affected by inclement weather
In a social media post, the Diocese of Cubao said the following churches opened their doors to evacuees:
Holy Family Parish - Roxas
San Antonio de Padua Parish
Basilica Minore de San Pedro Bautista
Minor Basilica of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Mount Carmel
Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish
'As the community faces this difficult time, our Church remains a refuge, offering shelter, comfort, and the loving presence of Christ through its people,' the Diocese of Cubao said.
Evacuees were also provided food, water, clothing, and sleeping materials.
The Quezon City local government unit earlier declared a state of calamity amid the downpour brought by the Habagat.
Floods and heavy traffic were observed in Metro Manila due to the continuous rain, including in Quezon City, where trash covered the flooded areas on G. Araneta Avenue, A. Bonifacio Avenue, and Quezon Avenue going to E. Rodriguez Avenue. — BAP, GMA Integrated News

Following the floods, Ninong Ry looks for new a location for studio
Ninong Ry is looking for a new location where he could set up his studio after enduring the recent floods brought about by simultaneous storms and the Southwest Monsoon. On Facebook, the popular food vlogger said it was too tiring to even think of going through the same ordeal. "Sobrang daming oras, energy, at pera ang nasasayang tuwing mangyayari to kaya palagay ko, oras na. Oras na siguro para humanap kami ng bagong studio," he added before making a shoutout to his followers. "Baka lang meron kayong alam na pwedeng lipatan na location, pwedeng bahay, or kung ano man na pwede naming i-fit out na maging studio," he said adding his preferred some place with parking, near Malabon so that his team, presumably residents of the LGU, will not have a hard time coming to the office. "Sana hindi gaanong binabaha," he added. In 2024, he already endured the same thing when his Malabon home flooded because of Typhoon Carina. According to Ninong Ry, he initially wanted to stay put because "naniniwala kasi ako na swerte tong lugar na 'to pero hindi ba kung naniniwala ka sa konsepto ng swerte, dapat naniniwala ka din sa konsepto ng malas? PAGASA: Isolated rains seen in Metro Manila, parts of PH
State weather bureau PAGASA said the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat and localized thunderstorms will affect the weather conditions in Metro Manila and parts of the country on Tuesday. At 3 a.m. a local pressure area was also spotted 895 kilometers east of Southeastern Luzon.
