Coronation Street has been captivating viewers with a string of dramatic events, and tonight's episode is set to keep the momentum going. The show will unveil Mick and Lou Michaelis' daughters Joanie and Shanice, portrayed by rising starlet Molly Kilduff.
The debut of the Michaelis daughters comes after multiple mentions in the show, with their onscreen mother ushering them away due to undisclosed reasons. Tensions spike when Tim takes an injured Lou to A&E, exacerbating the mystery around their family's situation.
Previous spoilers hinted that Lou escapes her abusive circumstances but leaves her daughters behind with Tim. Speculation mounts about Lou's fate as the week progresses and her daughters remain with Tim.

Molly's sister Jade, a member of the celebrated BGT sign-language choir Sign Along With Us, expressed her pride on Instagram. The 2020 ITV talent show contestant posted a cheerful snapshot with Molly outside the Rovers Return, gushing over her sister's accomplishments and character.
Jade's caption radiates familial adoration: "Could not be prouder of you Molly Moo ! ! Such a beautiful, funny, confident, talented and above all kind little girl. Shining bright on those cobbles like the star you are.", reports the Mirror.
Supporters were quick to shower the new actress with praise in the comments section, as one admirer posted: "Ohh she's adorable. Well done little superstar!" while another stated similarly: "She's a little superstar."
The group made a lasting impression on the Britain's Got Talent judges when they received the much-coveted Golden Buzzer from former panel member, David Walliams. Consisting of 69 performers, the group finished as runners-up, narrowly missing the top spot to the comedic musician Jon Courtenay – who notably became the first Golden Buzzer act to clinch victory in the show.
At the time of their BGT entry, Jade was 18 years old and her brother Christian, also a member of the ensemble, was merely four. Having spearheaded the sign language class following her efforts to teach her younger sibling, Christian, who lives with coordination challenges due to cerebral palsy, Jade showed true initiative and compassion.
Soap newcomers Mick and Lou, having joined earlier this year, won't be part of the canvas for long. News broke in March that the duo are set to depart following a compelling "major storyline" scheduled to wrap up by the summer.
Joe Layton, the actor behind the character of Mick, offered insights regarding his brief tenure: "I knew about it from when the casting came through from my agent, so even for the prep for the tape you take a dive into the psychology of him, how you inhabit these kind of head spaces. I think for me, the opportunity to step into Corrie for six months with a start and a finish point is a real gift."
Catch all the drama of Coronation Street as it unfolds Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and ITV X.

Sue Cleaver reflects on '25 years of laughs' after Coronation Street exit

Eileen Grimshaw had a special send-off during Friday's episode of the soap, where she was seen leaving for Thailand alongside her son Jason Grimshaw, played by Ryan Thomas. Simon Gregson's character Steve McDonald, Tony Maudsley's George Shuttleworth, and Eileen's son Todd, played by Gareth Pierce, all said goodbye to the matriarch before drivers from the local taxi firm honked their horns as she was driven off. In an Instagram post, Cleaver said: 'Well… that's a wrap. 25 years of laughs, tears, costumes, chaos — and one unforgettable journey. A post shared by Sue Cleaver (@officialsuecleaver) 'I'll miss this character like crazy, but what a ride it's been. Thank you for every moment.' Cleaver has played the outspoken and uncomplicated Eileen in the ITV show since 2000. Eileen came to Weatherfield to work at the local taxi firm, Streetcars, to provide for her two tearaway teenage children, Jason and Todd. She soon became friends with her boss Steve and came into conflict with Helen Worth's character Gail Rodwell (also known as Gail Platt). Cleaver took part in I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2022, where she opened up about reconciling with her birth mother, and was eliminated third. She also said her family is 'bizarrely interconnected' to other Coronation Street stars, including Worth who is godmother to one of her half-sisters, while her other half-sister's husband, John Bowe, appeared on the cobbles as Duggie Ferguson. In 2024, she released a book A Work In Progress in which she discusses how she feels she is not past her prime. In recent years she has appeared as a panellist on ITV chat show Loose Women.

Meghan Markle shares video of her, Prince Harry and their kids at Disneyland

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, continues to share sweet snippets of her family life with husband Prince Harry and their two kids, Archie and Lilibet. In her latest Instagram post, the former Meghan Markle shared a video collage filled with photos of their trip to Disneyland for their daughter's fourth birthday. 'Thank you @disneyland for giving our family two days of pure joy!' Meghan captioned her post Friday. The video, set to Peggy Lee's 'It's a Good Day,' shows Lilbet and Archie meeting Elsa and Anna from 'Frozen.' In all the pictures she included of their little ones, their faces are obscured or covered with a heart. The recap of their trip to the Happiest Place on Earth also includes the family on rides like Tiana's Bayou Adventure, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, the Cars Land ride and many more. There's also a silly photo of Meghan and Harry screaming while on Space Mountain. The two are sitting front row with their mouths wide open — yet appearing like they're having fun. And the festivities continued for the family of four. Meghan also shows Lilibet's 'Little Mermaid' birthday cake, their Mickey and Minnie stuffed dolls, the corn dogs and pickles they munched on during their trip and several other family photos from the park. Among the cutest is one of all four posing together, in which Lilibet is barefoot and in a pink dress with bows. The latest look into Meghan's personal home life comes after she celebrated her daughter's birthday on June 4. The former 'Suits' star shared a number of photos of her little girl from when she was born to their most recent adventures together. There were also snaps of Harry and his 'favorite adventurer' holding hands. 'Happy birthday to our beautiful girl! Four years ago today she came into our lives — and each day is brighter and better because of it. Thanks to all of those sending love and celebrating her special day!' Meghan wrote in her first post. Additionally, she also posted a never-before-seen video of when she was pregnant with Lilibet and dancing with Harry at the hospital in hopes to induce labor. 'Four years ago today, this also happened. Both of our children were a week past their due dates… so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn't work — there was only one thing left to do!' she captioned the fun and rare video of them. Meghan returned to Instagram on Jan. 1 after leaving the platform in early 2018 during her highly publicized engagement to Harry. Among her posts include family photos, outings and news about her podcast, Netflix projects and more.
