Gino D'Acampo makes string of smutty remarks during radio interview as he returns to public eye following ITV axe

The Sun27-05-2025
SHAMED TV chef Gino D'Acampo has made a smutty return to the public eye — by making lewd comments about women.
The Italian, 48, said during a radio interview that men do not like skinny women — as they want to have 'things to grab'.

The former This Morning star had been lying low since being removed from ITV programming in February.
But he did not hold back during an interview on Vibe FM in Malta.
Responding when one of the presenters, named Nicole, said that she regularly dieted, he said: 'Only dogs like bones.
'A real man, he wants the meat, you know, the things to grab. Don't get too skinny, otherwise it's like, no.'
During the interview he also said: 'I'm going to tell you a secret, Italian food is like Italian men, minimum effort, maximum satisfaction.'
He added during the show last Wednesday: 'Now do you understand that Nicole, or do I need to explain that?' She replied: 'I think it was very clear.'
Later he also told her: 'You're too pretty for radio.'
Earlier, asked if he recognised a male guest in the studio, he said: 'Do I know your mum?
'Did I take your mama out for dinner or something? I meet a lot of people and usually the ones I remember are blonde, they're tall — we do an activity together.'
In February, Gino was accused of sexually inappropriate behaviour over 12 years and ITV has vowed not to use him in future. The married dad of three denies the claims.

Earlier this month, his restaurant chain was saved when Upmarket Leisure — the company controlling the five venues — was bought out of administration — in a £5million deal that saved 400 jobs.

Starmer hails Zelensky's desire for ‘just peace' amid fears of Russian land grab

Sir Keir Starmer has hailed Volodymyr Zelensky's desire for a 'just and lasting peace' in Ukraine, amid worries a Russian land grab could result from negotiations to end the war. The Prime Minister and French President Emmanuel Macron chaired a meeting of the coalition of the willing on Sunday afternoon, where European leaders prepared for a meeting with Donald Trump alongside Mr Zelensky in Washington on Monday. European leaders appear poised to join Mr Zelensky in a show of solidarity with the Ukrainian president, after his last encounter with his American counterpart in the Oval Office resulted in a diplomatic crisis. Giving a readout of the video call between coalition allies, a Downing Street spokesman said: 'The leaders reaffirmed their continued support to Ukraine, and praised President Zelensky's desire for a just and lasting peace as he prepares for further consultations with President Trump in Washington DC. 'The leaders also commended President Trump's commitment to providing security guarantees to Ukraine, in which the coalition of the willing will play a vital role through the Multinational Force Ukraine, among other measures. 'They re-emphasised the readiness to deploy a reassurance force once hostilities have ceased, and to help secure Ukraine's skies and seas and regenerate Ukraine's armed forces.'

ITV Coronation Street icon 'lined up' for I'm A Celebrity 2025 stint after quitting soap

A Coronation Street star could be going on a brand new adventure after leaving their beloved soap role behind A popular Coronation Street actor is rumoured to be joining the line-up for this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! ‌ Adam Hussain, who plays Aadi Alahan, has been a fixture on the cobbles since his debut in 2006, alongside his twin sister Asha (Tanisha Gorey). ‌ Originally portrayed by Zennon Ditchett, Adam took over the role in 2020 - and it's safe to say Aadi's been embroiled in some serious drama. Particularly recently, as he inadvertently spiked Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) at a party last month. ‌ In an attempt to resolve financial problems arising from managing his father Dev's (Jimmi Harkishin) business, Aadi staged a fake robbery. When Dev discovered the truth, he was furious and demanded that Aadi leave the cobbles to live in India. Recognising it's time for a fresh start, Aadi agrees and decides to depart the cobbles, reports the Daily Star. Fans have been bracing for Aadi's exit since April, when actor Adam Hussain announced his departure from the ITV soap. ‌ On Instagram, he posted: "Over the five years I've spent there, I have learned so much about the world and the industry and now feel I am ready to spread my wings a little." Now, Adam is being tipped for a spot on a major reality show. Bookmakers Betway are confident he will enter the I'm A Celebrity jungle later this year, with spokesperson Mike Reading stating: "Adam Hussain looks set for a brand new adventure beyond Coronation Street." ‌ He elaborated: "With the I'm A Celeb lineup still firmly under wraps, we have priced him up at 7/1 to swap the Rovers Return for bugs, rice, and beans." There's also a chance that Adam could make an appearance on a competing soap, with bookmakers offering odds of 12/1 and 6/1 for him to appear on Hollyoaks and EastEnders respectively.

What is miscarriage and why do pregnancies fail? MISCARRIAGE is generally the death of an unborn baby in the first 24 weeks – approximately six months – of pregnancy. Miscarriages may not be spoken about a lot but they are very common. Baby loss charity Tommy's estimates there are at least 250,000 per year in the UK and that one in every five pregnancies ends in miscarriage. It may not be clear why a miscarriage happens but they are rarely caused by anything done by the mother or father. Usually the embryo has a random genetic defect that means it cannot develop properly. Most women can go on to successfully have healthy babies in the future. The NHS says most miscarriages cannot be prevented but avoiding smoking, alcohol and drugs while pregnant can reduce the risk. Some of the other most common reasons for a pregnancy to fail in the first 24 weeks are ectopic pregnancy and molar pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancy is where a fertilised egg implants somewhere outside of the womb, usually in a fallopian tube. It cannot survive and grow there so either dies naturally or must be terminated. Molar pregnancy is rarer but happens when a fertilised egg and/or placenta does not develop properly at the start of a pregnancy. There is no single reason why it happens and cannot be prevented, though it may be more common in very young or old mothers. A baby who dies after 24 weeks is considered a stillbirth.
