‘Messy': New details of Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom's split
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are reportedly co-parenting their 4-year-old daughter, Daisy, after breaking up.
'They are still very much in touch and co-parenting Daisy together,' an insider close to the former couple told Us Weekly in an article published Wednesday.
The source added that the actor, 48, took Daisy to meet up with Perry, 40, on her Lifetimes Tour before he left for Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's wedding in Venice this week.
'It's not messy between them,' the source noted.
The 'Firework' singer and Bloom are allegedly easing into their new parenting structure by keeping logistics flexible for their child.
'They aren't making drastic changes for Daisy's sake,' the source said. 'They will keep their lives in Montecito [California]. They are prioritising stability and consistency for Daisy.'
A source confirmed to Page Six earlier this week that their relationship is 'over.'
'They are waiting 'til her tour is over before they split,' the insider told us at the time of her tour, which kicked off in April and runs through December 7th.
However, a source later confirmed to Us Weekly that the duo 'split' on 'amicable' terms.
'It's not contentious at the moment. Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life,' the source told the outlet.
Their break-up has allegedly been 'a long time coming.'
Another source told People that tensions for the pair grew after Perry's latest album, '143,' received poor reviews.
'Katy was deeply frustrated following the reception of her new album,' the source said. 'It made her very stressed. Orlando was understanding, but it did cause some tension.'
The Hollywood star and Perry were first romantically linked in 2016 after meeting at an afterparty for the Golden Globes.
They briefly split in 2017 before getting back together again. Bloom later proposed to Perry on Valentine's Day in 2019, and they welcomed their daughter the following August.
Perry hinted at trouble in paradise during her 2024 interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast when she admitted that they have fiery arguments.
'Orlando and I, when we argue, we argue kinda hot and fast and then cool really quickly. It's like, 'La la la la la, I love you. All right, let's move on,'' she said, adding, 'We are fire, fire, fire, and so [Daisy] sees all of that.'
Bloom, for his part, shared that maintaining their partnership wasn't always easy.
'Sometimes things are really, really, really challenging. I won't lie. We definitely battle with our emotions and creativity,' Bloom told Flaunt in 2023.
'I think we're both aware of how blessed we are to have uniquely connected in the way that we did at the time that we did. And there's definitely never a dull moment,' he added.

Venus Williams shares hairbrush with her dog
Venus Williams shares a hairbrush with her dog. The 44-year-old tennis legend travels everywhere with her beloved Havanese Harry and while she always carries a brush for her "super fragile" curls, she's been known to whip it out to comb out some tangles from her pet pooch too. Discussing what she always has in her bag, she told Us Weekly magazine: 'My hair's super fragile, so this is my go-to brush — it just helps those curls bounce. Harry has curly hair too, so every now and then I have to use my brush on him — then we have to get a new one!' Harry often travels in Venus' handbag alongside the brush. Asked about the most important item she keeps in her bag, Venus laughed: 'It's my boy Harold. Harry is 18 years old and comes everywhere with me. "He hates tennis balls, but I know he loves me.' Because she usually has her hands full with Harry, Venus is practical and opts for a mini phone carrier and wallet combo. She said: 'I'm always carrying my dog, so my purse needs to be attached to my phone. 'This one's so cute. It's perfect for parties, easy for airports, and easy if you're on the go.' The sportswoman never leaves home without a supply of vitamins, but has to stop herself from eating chewable Vitamin C like sweets. She said of her craft box of supplements: 'You got the staples like Vitamin C, then I have lots of enzymes, probiotics, and all the other vitamins and minerals. I don't go anywhere without this.' "This [chewy vitamin C] is one of my favourites. I have to be careful because I'll just keep eating these because they taste great.' Venus previously admitted her dog is her "life", even though she hadn't initially planned to get a pet. She told People magazine: "I'm a passionate pet owner, and my dog is my life. He is the focus of my life. I love the little guy. "I had not planned on getting a dog. And I just saw this dog one day, and I called my sister and said, 'What should I do? I like this dog.' And she said, 'Get him. I love him already.' And so it was the best decision and best advice I ever got."

Bill Hader exposes ‘terrible' celeb encounter
Bill Hader has the tea on Martin Kove. Over 10 years before Martin kove, 78, bit his co-star Alicia Hannah-Kim at a fan convention this past weekend, Hader, 47, spoke about a bizarre encounter he had with the Cobra Kai actor on the WTF with Marc Maron podcast. During the 2013 episode, Hader recalled that at age 20 his job was to drive actors to sets. One day, Hader was tasked with bringing Kove to a film shoot, reports the New York Post. 'I'm driving him around in my s***ty car, and he got me lost on purpose,' Hader claimed, adding that Kove 'hadn't read the script yet,' so he gave the Barry star the wrong directions. Hader said that after they arrived late, he got 'screamed at' by his boss. 'It was a terrible day,' Hader said of the moment, which only got worse. 'On the way back, we're driving,' Hader recalled. 'It's at night, and we're driving down the freeway. He was like, 'Bill, are you mad at me?'' The Karate Kid actor then allegedly forced Hader to stop at a McDonald's and promised to get him a cookie and a milkshake. 'He comes back out eating the chocolate cookie and the milkshake,' the Saturday Night Live alum remembered. 'And he just sits in the back and goes, 'Come on, let's go.' It was the biggest f**k you.' 'It was a weird mind f**k of, like, 'I'm gonna get you this thing,' and then he ate it in front of me,' Hader added. 'And then I just drove home in silence.' Hader, who referred to the interaction as his 'first 'welcome to Hollywood, kid' moment,' noted that he had to keep driving Kove to work for a few more days. 'And I didn't talk to him after that,' Hader said. 'I just kind of stared straight ahead.' Despite Kove's rudeness, Hader said he gave the martial artist a pass. 'I heard he was going through a divorce, or something was happening with him,' Hader noted. 'He might be a really nice guy, but I just … rubbed him the wrong way. I don't know what was going on.' The Post has reached out to Kove's rep for comment. On Sunday, Kove was accused of biting Hannah-Kim, 37, in the arm at Washington State Summer Con. The actress, who played Kim Da-Eun for seasons 5 and 6 of Cobra Kai, claimed the alleged attack happened when she tapped Kove on the shoulder to greet him at their cast booth, according to a police report obtained by People. When he was questioned about the incident by police, Kove reportedly 'admitted to biting' Hannah-Kim but claimed 'he did it out of jest.' 'He thought he was being funny, and they play fight all the time on the set of Cobra Kai, and he did not think it was a big deal,' the report stated. Hannah-Kim declined to press charges against Kove, who was reportedly escorted out of the fan convention. Kove gave a full apology for the incident in a statement obtained by TMZ. 'I deeply regret and apologise for my actions regarding the incident with Alicia, a genuinely kind and wonderful person who didn't deserve to be put in this position,' he stated.

Heartbreaking clip of Katy Perry crying on stage resurfaces amid rumoured Orlando Bloom break-up
Katy Perry was seen sobbing on stage in a resurfaced clip after sources confirmed her break-up with Orlando Bloom. The Dark Horse singer cried as she belted the lyrics to her song Resilient during her Lifetimes Tour concert in Mexico City in April, according to a video circulating on social media. Perry struggled to get the words out as she broke down in an emotional display. She moved the microphone away from her face so the audience couldn't hear her sobs. She quickly composed herself, holding an impressive note as the crowd erupted in cheers. Fans flooded the comments section of the post to empathise with the now-single pop star. 'I feel so bad for her, like actually. I don't like her music (especially 143) but let's emphasise with her … she's a human too,' one person commented on the post. 'I hate seeing people cry,' a second person said. 'She can't keep a man to save her life,' a troll chimed in. While the video is nearly two months old, Perry is currently on the same tour, which began in April and will run through December. Page Six reported earlier this month that Perry and Bloom's relationship was on the rocks but that they were waiting for her tour to wrap before officially breaking up. 'It's over,' our source said. 'They are waiting 'til her tour is over before they split.' On Wednesday, however, a source confirmed that Perry, 40, and Bloom, 48, had officially called things off after 10 years together. 'Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable,' a source close to the pair told Us Weekly. The insider added that their dynamic is 'not contentious at the moment.' 'Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life,' the insider told the outlet. Their split has reportedly been 'a long time coming' as things were tense for the exes 'for months.' Perry's issues with Bloom apparently stemmed from her new album, 143, receiving poor reviews. 'Katy was deeply frustrated following the reception of her new album,' a source told People. 'It made her very stressed. Orlando was understanding, but it did cause some tension.' Fortunately, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor and Perry are amicably co-parenting their 4-year-old daughter Daisy. 'They are still very much in touch and co-parenting Daisy together,' an insider close to the exes told Us Weekly on Thursday, adding, 'It's not messy between them.' The Last Friday Night artist and Bloom are reportedly focused on making sure their break-up doesn't impact their daughter's day-to-day. 'They aren't making drastic changes for Daisy's sake,' the source said. 'They will keep their lives in Montecito [California]. They are prioritising stability and consistency for Daisy.' Bloom and Perry were first romantically linked in 2016 but broke up a year later. They rekindled their love and got engaged on Valentine's Day in 2019 – nearly a year before Daisy was born. The Lord of the Rings star was previously married to Miranda Kerr from 2010 to 2013 and they share 14-year-old son Flynn. Perry was married to Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012, though they share no children.
