Panchkula (Haryana) [India], April 27 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said the 25 crore people of Uttar Pradesh stand firmly with the people of Haryana.

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday encouraged the youth to inculcate the teachings, philosophy and ideology of Bhagwan Parshuram as these ideals are needed to build a Viksit Bharat and Haryana.
He called on citizens to adopt truth, dedication, and religion in their lives to create a prosperous nation and state. The Chief Minister was addressing a programme organised in Panchkula on the occasion of Bhagwan Parshuram Janmotsav. On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced an amount of Rs 31 lakh. Nayab Singh Saini congratulated the gathering on Bhagwan Parshuram Janmotsav and stated that this day is not just a cultural and religious celebration but also a symbol of India's great Sanatan tradition, reflecting the win of dharma over Adharma. 'Bhagwan Parshuram is the flag bearer of the battle against injustice, he said while adding that Government following Bhagwan Parshuram's path with the mantra of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas,' he said. The Chief Minister said that as we move forward with the resolve to build a Viksit Bharat and Viksit Haryana, the ideals and messages of Bhagwan Parshuram ji guide us in the right direction. (ANI)

The amount of Rs 15,000 is intended to ease the cost of education and encourage school attendance. On June 12, the state government will begin direct benefit transfers (DBT) of these funds into the bank accounts of beneficiaries. This date also marks one year since the Telugu Desam Party (TDP)-led coalition returned to power. Who will benefit? Eligible beneficiaries include students enrolled in Class 1 to Intermediate First Year (equivalent to 11th standard). The funds will be disbursed once school admissions are completed and data is verified, the state government said. However, there is still uncertainty about whether the transfer pertains to the academic year 2024–25 or 2025–26, as the official release did not clarify this detail. Villa, 19 plots, 3 buildings, cars: Telangana engineer held in anti-corruption raids
A villa, multiple flats, commercial space, independent buildings, 16 acres of agricultural land, 19 prime open plots, two four-wheelers, gold ornaments and substantial bank deposits — this is the wealth unearthed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau during raids on Nune Sridhar, an Executive Engineer with the Telangana Irrigation and Command Area Development was arrested for allegedly amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income. A case of Disproportionate Assets was registered against him for acquiring properties through unlawful means and by misusing his official position. According to the Anti-Corruption Bureau, he is accused of 'indulging in unlawful practices and dubious means' during his were carried out at his residence and 13 other premises associated with him and his relatives. The Anti-Corruption Bureau stated that the high-value properties include a villa in Tellapur, a flat in Shaikpet, three flats in Karimnagar, commercial space in Ameerpet, and independent buildings in Hyderabad, Warangal and Karimnagar. In addition, 19 residential prime open plots and 16 acres of agricultural land were also found in Hyderabad, Warangal and Karimnagar. The bureau added that the market value of these assets is significantly higher than their officially recorded value. According to sources, Sridhar was previously associated with the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project. BRS trying to hinder Telangana's industrial development, alleges IT Minister Sridhar
HYDERABAD: IT & Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu on Wednesday accused the BRS of attempting to hinder industrial development in the state. In a press statement issued here, the minister alleged that the BRS was working actively to block employment opportunities for the youth, driven by a regressive political mindset. 'It is increasingly evident that the BRS does not want industries to thrive in Telangana. Their actions suggest a deliberate attempt to prevent job creation for our youth,' he said. 'Over the past 18 months, our government has attracted investments worth Rs 3 lakh crore. These investments have already resulted in the creation of 1.5 lakh direct jobs in the private sector and have indirectly benefited one lakh individuals,' he added. The minister remarked that the BRS is visibly anxious about these developments, fearing that successful implementation of these projects would erode their political relevance. 'They are trying to create hurdles for the ongoing industrial projects and are even inciting farmers as part of their diversionary tactics. Let me make it clear — the government will not remain a passive observer if attempts are made to disrupt public order,' he added. Sridhar further said: 'Unlike the BRS, we never opposed developmental initiatives during our time in the opposition. We supported projects in the interest of the state's growth and allowed existing agreements to proceed unimpeded. Today, the BRS, which is fast losing public support, is trying to stay relevant by provoking unrest among farmers.'
