Tamar Braxton was found in 'pool of blood' and nearly died three days ago

Tamar Braxton has admitted that she nearly died just two days ago after a facial injury that left her missing teeth. The American singer and TV personality, best known as the founding member of The Braxtons, 48, made the revelation on her Instagram account, telling fans that she is still 'so weak'. The post was shared on her story and accompanied by Clavier's song, Spirit Lead Me, as she explained she didn't even know what caused the injuries. 'I struggled to write this but everyone keeps calling me and honestly, I can't even really talk anymore I'm so weak. 'I almost died Sunday. I was found in a pool of blood from my friend with a face injury. 'As the days go by the worse it is. I fractured my nose, lost some teeth and mobility. [broken heart emojis] the way I look at life now is totally different. As my health is on the mend my mental journey begins… pray for me for real [broken heart emojis] 'I don't even know what happened to me [broken heart emojis] (sic)' Before the injury, the star had posted a quote reading: 'Thank you God for waking me up today.' After the incident, she shared a page from the Bible showing Proverbs 31. The news comes after Tamar announced earlier this year that she was prioritising her health, with plans to go on tour again. 'Bday is over so no more drinks…. No more carbs… all body and VOICE!!!' she said. 'Me and my brother @octoberlondon and I are going to give you a night you won't forget❤️😍🍀✨ see ya soon🏆,' she told followers on Instagram. In April the singer also marked her late sister's birthday: 'Happy Heavenly Birthday beautiful @therealtracibraxton We miss you down here sis!! But I know God didn't want to see you sick like that so, he brought you home to himself to heal you ❤️ Thank you for being an amazing sister and covering all of us down here🙏🏼✨' Traci Braxton died in 2022 following a battle with oesophageal cancer at least one year ahead of her death. In 2020, Tamar was hospitalised after attempting to take her life. She later thanked her boyfriend at the time for saving her life, and he later filed a restraining order against the singer, citing domestic violence. More Trending At present, Tamar is single. She told The Breakfast Club podcast earlier this year that she wasn't dating at the moment. 'I'm still celibate. Not even a kiss, not a date. A stylish new lunch-to-late Italian parlour is slinging epic sangas, pasta and cocktails

Channeling the energy of a 1940s clubhouse for Italian New Yorkers, Pepe's Italian and Liquor – a reliable stalwart for pepperoni pizzas, family-sized parmas and classic cocktails 'til midnight – has slowly established itself as one of Melbourne's more characterful Italian-American offerings since opening its doors in 2019. In a bold step forward, owner Nick Kutcher has just opened a sibling bar next door: Pepe's Parlour. The chic new spot, set in a glasshouse in the sun-dappled shadows of a 150-year-old tree, stays open from lunch until midnight – perfect for casual long lunches and Martini date nights. 'We wanted to create somewhere that feels special but never stuffy,' says Kutcher. Don't expect a run-of-the-mill sandwich here; head chef Antonio Loffredo bakes the fresh ciabatta daily in a custom-made brick oven, with options spanning porchetta, eggplant parma and the ultimate chicken cacciatore dip. If handmade pasta is more likely to steal your heart, try the baked vodka rigatoni or ricotta and salami cannelloni. To cater more widely for the CBD's casual lunch-goers, lighter options on the menu include protein-balanced lunch plates with seasonal sides. Think Aperol-cured salmon with avocado and pistachio pesto green beans or barbecued chicken skewers with ancient grains and charred peppers, with most dishes on the menu priced nicely under $30. Popping in for a nightcap instead? The venue's intimate Martini bar creates a moodier evening setting, with timber panelling, velvet bar stools and sultry lighting. A standout feature is an evocative ceiling mural by the acclaimed artist Jordy Van Den Nieuwendijk, famous for his work with Vogue and Hermès (don't miss an opportunity to try 'Jordy's Tomatoes' – a tomato-infused Martini inspired by the mural). The bar also offers a blend of classic cocktails and signature modern interpretations, such as cheeky riffs on the Porn Star Martini, Appletini and Mexican Martini, as well as more traditional variations – plus, a complimentary serve of nuts and olives, of course. Whether you check Pepe's Parlour out by day or night, be sure to give the team a very warm benvenuto! We can't wait to snag a street-side table as the weather gets warmer.

Netflix Hostage star Julie Delpy's 'heartbreaking' admission about role in new thriller

Hostage promises to keep audiences glued to their seats Julie Delpy, one of the stars of Netflix 's forthcoming thriller Hostage, has given an insight into her role in the five-part series, reports the Manchester Evening News. ‌ The Hollywood actress portrays French President Vivienne Toussaint, a character who veers increasingly to the right in an attempt to placate her adversaries and maintain her grip on power in the brand-new series. ‌ Reflecting on the strains endured by actual politicians, the Before Sunset star confessed she would never venture into politics. ‌ At a recent London screening of Hostage, the 55 year old French-American star told media outlets including Reach Screen Time: "I guess there's a lot of pressure from outside, people who are pressuring [those] who believe in something." The accomplished actress, writer and director went on to say: "[Politicians] know a lot of stuff they want to do is influenced probably by big businesses. "In the US, it's definitely a lobbying system officially affecting politics, but I think for every president, things come into play that is more than what you as an individual would like to be, and I think the character of Toussaint has gone really far." Regarding politicians compromising their principles to hold onto power, Delpy remarked: "Also, I think if you have ethics as a human being and you become a powerful person, who has to do things that are against what they believe in, it must be heartbreaking sometimes. ‌ Get Netflix free with Sky from £15 Sky Get the deal here Product Description "You always have to disassociate the human being that you are and the powerful person, who has to also comply to maybe people above you. "It's such big businesses in play right now, and presidents have to comply to others probably. I would cry all the time." ‌ She said she would "hate" to be the president in real-life, explaining: "It's like the pressure of making decisions, of doing the right thing or the wrong thing." She added: "It's very interesting as someone who makes big decisions, how much you think of it." ‌ Hostage centres on a fictional British Prime Minister (portrayed by Suranne Jones), whose allegiance to her country faces the ultimate challenge when her spouse is abducted and her resignation is demanded. Meanwhile, French leader Toussaint finds herself caught up in a blackmail controversy. The pair will unite in an attempt to confront their shared adversary with everything at stake, including their political futures. Viewers will be kept on the edge of their seats right until the final moments with plenty of shocking revelations and unexpected developments throughout.
