‘P4 focused on long term benefits, not immediate politics': Foundation Vice Chairman

VIJAYAWADA: With criticism emerging from various quarters about the forceful adoption of 'Bangaru Kutumbams' by 'Margadarshis' (mentors) under the P4 program, Swarna Andhra P4 Foundation Vice Chairman C. Kutumba Rao clarified that P4 is a strategic, people-centric movement launched with the sole objective of improving lives across Andhra Pradesh.
'It is a mission for the people, by the people, and to the people - cutting across political lines, communities, regions, or economic status. The program is built on participation, not politics,' Rao said in a release issued on Monday. He stated that the P4 (Public-Private-People Partnership) initiative aims to enhance people's participation for the progress and prosperity of Andhra Pradesh.
CM Naidu is fully aware that P4 may not bring immediate political dividends, yet he has chosen to lead this initiative with full commitment because the well-being of the people comes first, not politics.
The program demands significant effort, coordination, and energy, but its focus remains clear: to create a platform where citizens, businesses, NRIs come together in service of society.

Never stop learning, chief minister Chandrababu Naidu tells constituency coordinators

Vijayawada: Staying hungry to learn new things will make success follow your path, chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu said while giving a pep talk to young professionals who were appointed as coordinators for the constituency vision plan and P4 on Tuesday. Giving the example of his own life, Naidu explained the importance of being a constant learner. "I come from a village without electricity, and I brought reforms in electricity in united Andhra Pradesh, which changed the face of the state. Development is possible only when we constantly think of finding new ways to bring change," he said. The state govt has appointed 175 young professionals, one in each of the 175 constituencies, for effective implementation of constituency development plans. These professionals will work in line with the constituency-wise vision documents prepared as part of Swarna Andhra Vision 2047. The planning dept gave a week-long training to the young professionals on their roles and responsibilities. The CM met them after they completed training on Tuesday. Noting that appointing a young professional for each constituency is a new approach, he asked them to identify the strengths of each constituency depending on the resources available and to identify the priorities. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Use an AI Writing Tool That Actually Understands Your Voice Grammarly Install Now Undo He asked them to coordinate with local public representatives and a team of nine members from various govt depts to prepare plans of action for constituency development. "Everyone should say that the chief minister has sent good people to their constituency. Earn a good name for yourself and bring a good name to me." BJP slams house arrest of Telangana party chief, terms it attack on democratic rights

1 2 3 4 Hyderabad: The Telangana BJP has criticised the house arrest of its state president, N Ramchander Rao, calling it an unjustified move that prevented him from joining the party's 'hoist the national tricolour' campaign. The initiative, planned for Tuesday morning, aimed at encouraging citizens to display the national flag at their homes as a mark of respect to freedom fighters. Rao was scheduled to participate in a series of events in the Secunderabad and Goshamahal constituencies. However, police officers arrived at his Tarnaka residence and placed him under house arrest, reportedly to stop him from attending a BJP women's wing programme at Peddamma temple in Jubilee Hills. The BJP asserted that the campaign was entirely apolitical, focused solely on honouring the national flag and the sacrifices of freedom fighters, and accused the Congress govt of political overreach. The party warned that such "undemocratic actions" would trigger state-wide protests if repeated.
