90 Day Fiancé: Is Shekinah and Sarper's Marriage Already in Trouble?

90 Day Fiancé: Is Shekinah and Sarper's Marriage Already in Trouble?

Yahoo4 hours ago

It hasn't been that long since their 'bedding wedding' but it looks like Sarper Güven and Shekinah Garner of may already be running into marital issues. But that's not really surprising considering the numerous troubles they had even before tying the knot in bed.
In fact, many fans wondered if they would actually cross the finish line. They had so many relationship ups and downs. But they pushed through them all and made it to 'I do.' And now it seems like they are wondering if perhaps they should have given it a little more thought. Unfortunately, the clock was ticking on the K1 visa.
But that's all hindsight now. In an emotional clip from the upcoming 90 Day Fiancé Tell-All, the couple get candid about what life has been like after their unique bedding ceremony.
'(The wedding) was perfect, and I loved how intimate it was,' Shekinah shared. 'There was no one else there, and it was really just special.'
Then she started to cry as she added. 'But now, I feel I'm going to get emotional. Just everything changed after we got married. And that was my biggest fear and it just, like, came true.'
Sarper agreed with her saying that change was his biggest fear as well. And even though they made it and stayed together, the future looks pretty daunting for the couple.
Shekinah explained that it has been hard with Sarper's move-in and adjusting to life in the United States.
'Sarper changed, our dynamic changed, because now we're in the U.S. and he moved into my place, which I know is hard because it does feel like it's my place, you know. Sarper went through a really bad depression and it brought up a lot of anger from him at me.'
For his part, Sarper explained that his depression stems from a lack of control. 'I am always the control freak, so I have to control things, and when I don't control things I feel depressed. If you ask me, I don't like the marriage.'
Looks like trouble in paradise. And serious trouble at that. The couple have always said that after going through what they have, they can make it through anything and that loving each holds the relationship together. I guess now they'll find out if love is enough.
90 Day Fiancé Tell-All Part 1 airs Sunday, 8:00 pm ET on TLC. Season 11 is currently available to stream on Discovery +.
TELL US – DO YOU THINK SARPER AND SHEKINAH WILL SURVIVE THE TRANSITION PHASE? OR WILL BE TOO MUCH FOR THEIR RELATIONSHIP?

Pete Crow-Armstrong drops ‘Hollywood' truth bomb on actor parents

The post Pete Crow-Armstrong drops 'Hollywood' truth bomb on actor parents appeared first on ClutchPoints. Despite having actors as parents, Pete Crow-Armstrong led a normal life. The Chicago Cubs player widely known as 'PCA' is the son of Ashley Armstrong and Matthew John Armstrong. The MLB star recently shared what it was like growing up with actors as parents. Advertisement 'Everyone expects this Hollywood answer to this question,' Crow-Armstrong told ESPN recently. 'Nah, I was outside every day playing ball. Minimal screen time. I went to set once or twice, but other than that, I was in the backyard. We had a big backyard.' Ashley agreed, stating that baseball was always at top of mind for him even at a young age. 'That backyard was his home. He would wake up in the morning and head right to the backyard.' Ashley is known for her role as Jenny Heywood in the 1994 baseball movie Little Big League as well as Janice in 1993 film The Good Son starring Macaulay Culkin. She also starred in guest roles in Grey's Anatomy, 1987 The Equalizer, and Law & Order. PCA's father, Matthew, is known for his roles in the 2006 TV series Heroes as Ted Sprague and Pete Pryor in American Dreams. He also starred in American Horror Story, The Young and the Restless, and The CW's Supernatural. Advertisement Before PCA got into the major leagues, his parents and family friends reminisced about his upbringing and his time playing in little league. 'He's always run the bases like someone is chasing him,' Drew Bowser, who is childhood friend of PCA and is now a Cubs minor leaguer said. 'He just kept getting better and better and better. What you're seeing is not surprising, at least not to me.' Baseball has always been a play of joy for PCA and where he was able to unlock a deeper part of himself. 'It's kind of a corny cinema in a way,' he said. 'The dads are drinking beer, and all the kids are playing whiffle ball and throwing the football on the field after hours. Just being kids. Advertisement 'I found so much of myself on a baseball field.' PCA was the 19th overall pick of the 2020 MLB draft and chosen by the New York Mets. He only stayed on the Mets' roster for one season, as he was traded in 2021 to the Cubs in exchange for shortstop Javier Báez and pitcher Trevor Williams. The Cubs' next game is against the Seattle Mariners on Friday at 2:20 pm. Sammy Sosa, Pete Crow-Armstrong picture goes viral in Sosa's return to Wrigley Field

The post Sammy Sosa, Pete Crow-Armstrong picture goes viral in Sosa's return to Wrigley Field appeared first on ClutchPoints. Sammy Sosa made his long-awaited return to Wrigley Field on Friday. The former fan favorite had been exiled by the Chicago Cubs after parting on bad terms with the team 21 years ago. Now the team's all-time home run leader was welcomed back to his old stomping grounds. And he caught up with current fan favorite Pete Crow-Armstrong for a photo op. Advertisement Sosa and PCA posed together for a photo to commemorate the retired slugger's visit, per Talkin' Baseball on X. And the pic spread like wildfire. Crow-Armstrong was just two years old when Sosa last took the field for the Cubs back in 2004. Sosa had been a wildly popular player during his 13-year run with Chicago. He hit 545 of his 609 career home runs with the team. And Sosa is the only player in the history of baseball to hit 60 home runs in three different seasons, all with the Cubs. Most famously, Sosa hit 66 home runs in 1998 while competing with Mark McGwire for the single-season home run record. McGwire edged him out, finishing the campaign with a then-record 70 homers. However, Sosa led the majors in RBI (158), runs scored (134) and total bases (416), winning National League MVP. Pete Crow-Armstrong met former Cubs great Sammy Sosa Kamil Krzaczynski-Imagn Images Despite his immense popularity in Chicago, Sosa's relationship with the Cubs soured amid PED accusations. While he denied using steroids, the allegations persisted and the team cut ties with Sosa, trading him to the Orioles following the 2004 season. Advertisement Sosa attempted to repair his relationship with the Cubs, releasing a statement aimed at a reconciliation late last year. Apparently, it worked as the team welcomed him back to Wrigley Field where he had the opportunity to meet with the franchise's budding superstar, Crow-Armstrong. PCA is in the midst of a potentially historic season for the Cubs. In his second year with the team, Crow-Armstrong has displayed his rare combination of power and speed, putting him on pace to join the 40/40 club. Only six players in MLB history have hit 40 home runs and stolen 40 bases in a season. And Sosa isn't one of them. Speed was an element of the seven-time All-Star's game early in his career. But Sosa's base-stealing prowess had tapered off by the time power suddenly began dominating his game. However, Sosa did record two 30/30 seasons. Crow-Armstrong is already up to 20 home runs and 23 steals through 73 games this season. He continues to play at a level manager Craig Counsell has never seen from a center fielder, helping lead the Cubs to the best record in the National League.
