Jason Biggs Details Getting Cocaine From Trash Can Amid Addiction
Originally appeared on E! Online
Jason Biggs is getting candid about a low moment.
The American Pie alum, who has been open about his addiction journey over the years, recently recalled a time from the height of his struggles in which he repeatedly retrieved drugs from the trash can.
'I lived in the gray area, but I have 'snorting dust off the floor' stories or similar to that,' Jason told Arielle Lorre on the June 4 episode of her Well podcast. 'One of my craziest stories was I was doing cocaine by myself in my house, and I did what I said was the last line.'
He went on to say his wife, Jenny Mullen, was asleep upstairs and she 'didn't even know' he was awake and taking drugs, and in an effort to get himself to go to bed he put the rest of the cocaine into their trash can.
'Within 15 minutes, as soon as my last bump is wearing off, what am I doing?' Jason remembered. 'I go into my trash, and I take it out and I do a line.'

Afterwards, he instead put the rest of the cocaine into the trash can in front of his house, telling himself, 'OK, I'm done,' before going back inside and intending to take an Ambien to help him sleep.
'Before I took the Ambien, I was like, 'One more,'' he said. 'I went outside and I climbed into the trash bin and got the bag of coke and went upstairs and did another line. I was like, 'What the f--k am I doing? This is absolutely insane.''
This time, the Orange Is The New Black alum—who shares Sid, 11, and Lazlo, 7, with Jenny—said he drove down Sunset Boulevard to dispose of the cocaine in a trash can down there, going so far as to put the bag in a coffee cup that still had coffee inside. Yet, as he detailed, when his last bump wore off he once again found himself driving back to the trash can and retrieving the drugs.
'I could have easily opened the baggie and dumped it down the toilet, but I didn't,' he said. 'That's too final. I knew I was going to finish that bag the moment I got it, but I kept playing this game with myself. That was very close to rock bottom.'
And at the time, the 47-year-old's life was consumed by his addiction.
'For me, it was the obsession over it,' he explained. 'It was wake up and immediately think, 'How am I going to get my first line?' to 'When is this going to happen? What do I have today?''
In fact, he planned his schedule around when he could take drugs, adding, 'It was exhausting and I was sort of consumed mentally.'
Now sober for more than seven years, Jason can look back and see how much happier he is, calling sobriety 'freeing.'
'There is a freedom,' he explained, 'that comes with not having to do those things anymore.'

Jason Biggs details climbing into trash to snort cocaine amid height of addiction
NEW YORK — 'American Pie' alum Jason Biggs is speaking out on the moment he hit rock bottom during the height of his drug addiction. The 47-year old actor, who's been candid when discussing his recovery journey, recently detailed a time when he resorted to climbing into a trash can to snort cocaine. 'One of my craziest stories was I was doing cocaine by myself in my house, and I did what I said was the last line,' he shared on the latest episode of Arielle Lorre's 'Well' podcast. Biggs explained that his wife, Jenny Mullen, was asleep upstairs, unaware that he was still awake and doing drugs at 4 a.m. In an effort to get himself to stop and go to bed, he threw the rest of the cocaine into the garbage. Within 15 minutes, however, the last bump was 'wearing off,' so Biggs pulled the coke out of the garbage and did another line. He then went outside tossed the remainder into the large trash bin outside their house. 'OK, I'm done,' he recalled telling himself before heading back inside to take a sleeping pill. But again, within minutes, the urge for more coke kicked in. 'I went outside and I climbed into the trash bin and got the bag of coke and went upstairs and did another line,' Biggs said. 'I was like, 'What the f–k am I doing? This is absolutely insane.'' The New Jersey native, whose substance abuse dates back 25 years to the peak of 'American Pie' popularity, has now been sober since 2017 after multiple attempts to get clean. 'After some fits and starts, I've managed to put together one year of sobriety,' he wrote on Instagram in 2018. 'I'm as proud of it as anything in my life. If you're struggling, know there's help. Don't be ashamed. We can do this.'

Sean "Diddy" Combs Trial Week 5: Defense Requests Second Mistrial
Originally appeared on E! Online Sean 'Diddy' Combs is back in court. The 19th day of the rap mogul's sex trafficking trial resumed June 9 following his defense team's second request for a mistrial, according to NBC News reporters in the courtroom. Over the weekend, attorney Alexandra Shapiro filed a motion viewed by E! News, in which she argued that his ex Cassie Ventura and her friend Bryana Bongolan of lying about the latter being dangled from a 17th-floor balcony in 2016 by Combs. His defense team—whose first motion was denied by Judge Arun Subramanian May 28—accused the prosecution of 'misconduct' with the 'introduction of perjured testimony.' The prosecution will respond to the motion and the judge is set to respond June 10. As the jury awaits the decision, Combs' ex—who is going by 'Jane' during the trial and was identified as 'Victim-2' in the indictment—has returned to the witness box following an emotional testimony about alleged abuse in their relationship. 'My feeling of obligation really started to stem from the fact that my partner was paying my rent,' she told the jury June 6, alleging that if she objected to his sexual requests, 'He would just start saying things like 'If you want to break, that's fine. Do you need, like, three more months in the house? Because I'm not about to be paying for a woman's rent that I'm not even seeing.'' She said that Combs began paying the rent for her home in April 2023, two years into their relationship, and is still doing so after he allegedly proposed a 'love contract' the month before. 'Jane' broke down in tears during her testimony after recalling a 'hotel night' on her birthday, which she specifically requested not to do. 'I just sat there on the couch, got in position to have intercourse, so we could just get it over with,' she told jurors. 'I asked Sean for a condom. Sean was giving me this really bad look. He gave me a dirty look, like shaking his head and said, 'You better not ask for a f--king condom.'' After Combs allegedly handing the escort the condom, she said he was 'so dismissive.' 'He was walking away,' she testified. 'He looked so disappointed while all of this was happening. It made me feel really bad. I just wanted it to be over.' Alex Cooper Accuses Her College Soccer Coach of Sexual Harassment
Originally appeared on E! Online is coming forward about her difficult past. The Call Her Daddy host, who played soccer for Boston University from 2013 to 2015, accused her former coach Nancy Feldman of sexual harassment in her shocking new Hulu docuseries Call Her Alex. In the documentary, which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival June 8, the 30-year-old alleged, per The Hollywood Reporter, that Feldman "really starting to fixate on me, way more than any other teammate of mine, and it was confusing.' But Cooper's talents on the field weren't often the topic of discussion. "It was all based in her wanting to know who I was dating,' she continued, 'her making comments about my body and her always wanting to be alone with me." As the patterns of behavior continued throughout her sophomore year of college, Cooper alleged that Feldman would go as far as putting a hand on her thigh and asking if she'd had sex the previous night. More from E! Online Basketball Wives' Brittany Renner Says She and Kevin Gates Are Divorced After 52 Days of Marriage Tony Awards 2025: George Clooney Gives Rare Update on His, Amal's Kids Ella and Alexander Billie Eilish and Nat Wolff Confirm Romance With Steamy Makeout Session 'It was this psychotic game of, 'You wanna play? Tell me about your sex life, I have to drive you to your night class, get in the car with me alone,'' she recalled. 'I started trying to spend as little time as possible with her, taking different routes to practice where I knew I wouldn't run into her. During meetings, I would try to sit as far away from her as possible, literally anything to not be alone with this woman.' And while Cooper shared that she "felt so deeply uncomfortable" at the time, she felt ] she couldn't speak out about the alleged abuse because she didn't want to jeopardize her full-tuition scholarship. 'If I didn't follow this woman's rules,' she noted, 'I was gone." And when she did attempt to provide university officials with written documentation of Feldman's inappropriate actions, she alleged that they 'dismissed' her allegations and did not investigate the matter. E! News reached out to Feldman and Boston University but has not heard back. Neither Feldman nor the BU have publicly responded to Cooper's allegations. While Feldman has since retired in 2022, Cooper emphasized during a Q&A after the documentary's premiere, per Deadline, that the officials who brushed off her allegations were still there. 'During the filming of this documentary, I found out that the harassment and abuse of power is still happening on the campus of Boston University,' Cooper alleged. 'I knew in that moment, if I don't speak about this. It's going to continue happening.' 'I'm thinking about the amount of women who've probably experienced this, not just on that campus, but on a larger scale in the workplace,' she continued. 'This isn't just happening on college campuses for soccer. This is everywhere. This is systemic.' For the latest breaking news updates, click here to download the E! News App
