由 DeekSeek 打開的超低價 AI API 價格戰，終於把老大哥 OpenAI 拉下海了，他們最新推出的旗艦語言模型 GPT-5，在定價上對照 Google Gemini 2.5 Pro，而且不設高用量收費。此外，GPT-5 還首度推出 Mini 版及 Nano 版，定價分別更低至輸入每百萬 token $0.25 及 $0.05 美元，適合初創或中小型客戶需要，OpenAI CEO Sam Altman 更在 X 發文說對於 GPT-5 的定價感到高興
對於生成式 AI 任務所需要的 token 數量只會有增無減，像是更長上下文窗口、影片、圖片等內容的生成，AI token 用量收費都需要隨之調整才能保持價格優勢。不過看到連 OpenAI 直接壓到如此低價，不難想像其他 AI 競爭者也只能走價格戰來挽留客戶。
