Olly Murs: Save Me 'is a new Murs era'
Olly Murs is entering a new "era" in his pop career.
The 41-year-old star is debuting his new single, 'Save Me', during his ongoing tour of the UK, and Olly has suggested that the song is reflective on a new chapter in his career.
The chart-topping singer - who first found fame on 'The X Factor' back in 2009 - told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column: "I sing my new single on the tour. It's called 'Save Me'.
"It's a bold statement but the industry has changed so much with streaming, so with this song I wanted to go back to basics. I wanted my fans to hear the song before anyone else."
Despite this, Olly - who married Amelia Tank in 2023 - actually feels anxious about performing the new song for his fans.
The pop star explained: "It's been nerve-racking because no one has heard but I'm so confident with the song - I wanted to do it.
"It's about going on a night out after having a row with the missus and it goes horribly wrong."
Olly feels excited about the "new Murs era".
The 'Heart Skips a Beat' hitmaker said: "The song is a new Murs era. But I'm secretly excited about it."
Olly is also determined to deliver value for money for his fans.
The singer has developed a loyal fanbase over the years and he's promising to give them "fun, music and a laugh" during the tour.
Olly - who is performing at some of the UK's best known venues during the tour, including The O2 in London - shared: "I'm an entertainer and I want you to have a good time.
"I'd like to think my fans know that when they buy a ticket to come see me, they know what they're getting - fun, music and a laugh.
"There is a trust I will deliver and I think with some artists, you're not sure if they are going to turn up and deliver.
"I think what I've done over the last 15 years is show people that I can entertain.
"I love doing what I do, and you guys are here with me to enjoy it."

Liam Gallagher bluntly dismisses fan concerns over voice ahead of Oasis reunion
Liam Gallagher has bluntly dismissed fan concerns over his vocal health ahead of the long-awaited Oasis reunion tour. The 52-year-old frontman sparked concern after posting online about taking throat lozenges, sour candies and cough syrup online, prompting speculation from fans that his voice might not hold up during his and older brother Noel's upcoming stadium comeback shows this summer. One fan messaged him on X after his admission: '@liamgallagher If you need that many throat stuff does that mean anytime your voice can still go? We don't want cancellations.' Liam replied: 'Shut up you melt.' Another user asked the singer: '@liamgallagher Did you eat all your sour throat candies yesterday?' – to which Liam responded: '@adele_liam I did 2 pacs.' The Oasis reunion marks the first time the band have performed together since 2009, when they split after a backstage altercation at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris. Their return to the stage has been one of the most anticipated music events of the decade. Rehearsals are now underway in London, with Liam joining his bandmates — including his brother Noel, 58 — for rehearsals this week. The world tour begins next month, with dates set for major stadium venues across the UK and beyond. Liam confirmed on X he would be joining the rest of the band for practice on Tuesday (03.06.25), writing: 'Yes Rasta D I'm in Tuesday to blow there minds.' When another fan asked if he was excited, he replied: 'Can't wait.' Noel was seen arriving at rehearsals via the London Underground — in stark contrast to Liam, who was photographed through the window of a car. The road to the reunion is said to have been smoothed by Noel's daughter Anais Gallagher, 25, from his first marriage to Meg Mathews. Following Noel's split from his second wife Sara MacDonald, Anais reportedly encouraged him to reconcile with Liam. A source told The Sun: 'Anais was one of the biggest sources of comfort and support for Noel following his divorce. She was the one that was helping him get back on his feet and return to doing things he loved that had fallen by the wayside.' The source added: 'Over the years, Noel had offered an olive branch to Liam, but he'd never taken it up. Anais could tell her dad really wanted both his brothers, Liam and Paul, by his side after the split so was determined to get them back in touch.'

British Airways flight attendant found dancing naked in business class
A British Airways flight attendant has reportedly been found dancing naked mid-flight. The hostie, 41, was meant to be serving drinks and meals to passengers, instead, after a search, colleagues found him completely naked and jumping up and down in one of the plane's business class toilets. Clearly unable to continue his shift, the man was given a pair of pyjamas to change into before being seated in a first class seat and strapped in for the remainder of the 10 hour flight headed to London from San Francisco, The Sun reports. There were around 470 passengers and crew on board the packed double-decker Airbus A380 at the time. 'We think the guy popped pills when he was meant to be working. It is an extraordinary thing to do,' one co-worker told The Sun. 'The plane was cruising at 37,000ft over the Atlantic, but this bloke seemed to be higher than anyone else. 'Rather than asking passengers 'chicken or beef', he was stripping off and dancing in the toilet. It was a long time before he was located and he was completely out of it. 'Not only is it really dangerous, it is a crazy way to end your BA career. This job can do ridiculous things to people, but staging a one-man disco in a Club World toilet is a new one on me.' On landing, the man, who disembarked in a wheelchair, was given medical attention and arrested by police on suspicion of being unfit for duty. The incident is being investigated and the flight attendant has been suspended.
