The spectacular Fontana Circus has come to Jeddah, promising unparalleled family-friendly entertainment shows.
Running from March 31 to April 30, 2025, at the Fontana circus tent next to the Cenomi Mall of Arabia in Jeddah, the first traveling water circus in the Middle East delivers live entertainment, stunning artistic performances, and water-based acrobatics in a mind-blowing aqua-circus experience.
The Fontana Circus, brought by Cirque Du Liban, features an awe-inspiring musical dancing fountain, thrilling gravity-defying stunts, breathtaking motorcycle displays, dazzling aerial acrobatics, drummers and opera shows. Their performances are accompanied by astounding special effects and water theatrics.

It is not the first performance for Fontana Circus in Saudi Arabia. In September 2024, the traveling water circus amazed audiences in Riyadh with mesmerizing circus shows. It also performed in other Middle Eastern cities, including Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Saudi Passports Department announces working hours during Eid Al-Adha holiday
Saudi Gazette report RIYADH — The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) has announced its working hours during the Eid Al-Adha holiday for 1446 AH across its branches in various regions of the Kingdom, to ensure continued service for urgent cases. The department affirmed its readiness to receive emergency cases that require in-person service and cannot be completed through the Ministry of Interior's Absher electronic platform. Beneficiaries must book an electronic appointment in advance before visiting the offices. In Riyadh, the passport office at the Al-Rimal branch will operate daily from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. throughout the Eid break. In Jeddah, the Sairafi Mall and Tahlia Mall branches will be open from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., starting Sunday, Dhu Al-Hijjah 5 (June 9, 2025), until the end of the working day on Thursday, Dhu Al-Hijjah 9 (June 13, 2025). Elsewhere across the Kingdom, passport offices will operate Sunday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. during the holiday Directorate also encouraged the public to take advantage of the 'Tawasul' service, which allows users to submit requests for services that cannot be completed online, without needing to visit passport offices in person.

King Abdulaziz Airport ranks third in Middle East for air connectivity, says ACI
Saudi Gazette report SHANGHAI — King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) in Jeddah ranked third among Middle Eastern airports in the 2024 Asia-Pacific and Middle East Air Connectivity Index, the Airports Council International (ACI) announced during the Air Connectivity 2025 Conference held in Shanghai. The index evaluates airports based on key metrics including flight frequency, destination diversity, geographic location, market size, economic indicators, quality of air connectivity, airline network integration, and overall traveler experience. Eng. Mazen Johar, CEO of Jeddah Airports Company, said the ranking marks a significant milestone for KAIA, reflecting the airport's growing regional and global role in aviation. He noted that the achievement is the result of sustained efforts to enhance connectivity and expand the airport's global reach in line with the company's strategic vision. Johar reaffirmed the company's commitment to operational excellence and expanding KAIA's role as a global aviation hub. This includes further developing air connectivity routes, improving infrastructure, and enhancing the overall passenger experience in line with Saudi Arabia's ambitions to serve as a strategic center in global air transport.
