Oasis fans have been given one final chance to buy tour tickets now

Daily Mirror6 hours ago

Oasis have finally released some new tickets for their Oasis Live '25 tour, but not everyone was successful in getting invited.
Oasis fans are in a frenzy this week as the band just confirmed the existence of a new set of tickets for their upcoming Oasis Live '25 gigs. And, even more exciting, these tickets will be released very soon - just ahead of the Gallagher brothers hitting the road.
Speaking out in a statement on their social media accounts, Oasis wrote: "As the shows are getting closer, Oasis promoters may be able to release a very limited number of additional tickets for sale once final sight lines are checked and the production is fine tuned." It added: "These final production releases will happen over the coming days."
As a result, fans are now expecting to hear from official retailer Ticketmaster on whether they have been successful in receiving tickets from this new batch. However, with no timeline on when this happens - if it happens at all - many fans will be left disappointed.
Thankfully, Ticketmaster is not the only place fans can buy Oasis tickets for their upcoming tour right now. And, considering the band are playing 17 shows across the UK beginning in just a matter of days, time is running out for fans who want to get last-minute access.
And they're shows one won't want to miss. Liam and Noel Gallagher are set to play some of the country's biggest and best venues including London's Wembley Stadium, Cardiff's Principality Stadium, Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium, and more.
Below, we have broken down all the options Oasis-lovers have to buy tickets right now. This ranges from official retailers to VIP sellers and resale websites.
viagogo and resale tickets
Sites such as viagogo, Stubhub, and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that ticket conditions often prohibit resale after initial purchase. Those tickets may not be valid for admittance to gigs.
Fans intending to buy tickets for live events through resale websites should check the ticket terms and conditions, to confirm whether resale is prohibited, before they buy. Ticket terms and conditions can be checked with the original seller, such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation. If resale is prohibited, tickets bought second-hand could be voided and admission to the event refused.
How to buy Oasis tickets now
Oasis tickets are available right now from a number of online retailers. This includes both official and resale websites.
Fans will likely want to peruse Ticketmaster's wares first, as they have been touted as the original seller of the band's tour tickets. However, the online media giant has not had any tickets for some time.
And, at the time of writing, only people with allocated codes can buy tickets. Regardless, here's the link:
TICKETMASTER - Buy Oasis tickets here.
Otherwise, resale websites are where fans ought to be looking the most. Oasis have signposted Twickets as their official resale websites, however, they have not had tickets for a very long time.
As a result, fans have flocked to the likes of viagogo, Vivid Seats and StubHub instead. And, at the time of writing, some Oasis tickets are being sold for around £200 each on viagogo.
Here's the links:
VIAGOGO - Buy Oasis tickets here.
VIVID SEATS - Buy Oasis tickets here.
STUBHUB - Buy Oasis tickets here.
TWICKETS - Buy Oasis tickets here.
Finally, there are also official tickets available from VIP and hospitality-based website Seat Unique. This retailer gives fans the absolute best chance of getting involved in Oasis' tour dates this year.
What's more, these VIP tickets give fans a chance to see the band with an added touch of flair and glamour. Here's the link:

Noel Gallagher's ex-wife Meg Mathews shares sweet throwback snap of them together as Oasis prepare for first live shows in 16 years

Noel Gallagher 's ex-wife Meg Mathews has shared a sweet throwback snap of them together, ahead of Oasis' reunion tour. The Live '25 tour will be their first since the band's acrimonious implosion and subsequent disbandment during the ill-fated Dig Out Your Soul tour in 2009. Addressing the live shows, Noel's supportive ex reminisced on Noel preparing for his first ever gig with the band. Alongside a snap of the pair on holiday, she penned: 'Noel here getting ready for the first Gig… A week tomorrow Oasis are back. 'In 1996 During their legendary Knebworth performances August 10–11, they launched huge inflatable footballs into the audience as part of their upbeat intro before launching into songs like Columbia, Acquiesce, and Supersonic.' Meg met Noel Gallagher in 1994 in London through her roommate MTV presenter Rebecca de Ruvo. Noel was dating Rebecca at the time, however, he eventually left her for Meg. The former couple, who share daughter Anais, went on to tie the knot in June 1997 in Las Vegas. However, their marriage was short-lived as they divorced just four years later. It comes after Oasis revealed they are releasing more tickets ahead of their eagerly anticipated reunion tour this summer. The iconic Britpop band have reunited for a series of stadium shows across the United Kingdom, Ireland, Japan , South Korea and North, Central and South America, commencing at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on July 4. A statement posted to the band's official website on Wednesday reads: 'As the shows are getting closer, Oasis promoters may be able to release a very limited number of additional tickets for sale once final sight lines are checked and the production is fine tuned. 'These final production releases will happen over the coming days.' Following their initial release, thousands of fans waited for hours in virtual queues to get their hands on highly coveted tickets for the band's reunion shows, only to find that prices had jumped in a 'dynamic pricing' scheme. The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has since called for Ticketmaster to change how it labels tickets and informs customers. The CMA launched an investigation into Ticketmaster in September to examine if it had engaged in 'unfair commercial practices', whether fans were given 'clear and timely' information to explain tickets could be subject to 'dynamic pricing', and if people were put under pressure to buy tickets within a short period of time. The watchdog said it was concerned that Ticketmaster, which sold more than 900,000 tickets for the Oasis gigs, may have breached consumer protection law. Downing Street has said that 'everyone deserves a fair shot at getting tickets' for music and sport events. Ticketmaster UK said in a statement that it tries to provide a 'simple, transparent and consumer-friendly' experience. Certain tickets for shows were labelled as 'platinum' and sold for nearly 2.5 times more than the standard price. However, the company did not explain these tickets do not come with any additional benefits and are located in the same area of the stadium. The CMA said this risked consumers being mislead into thinking the platinum tickets were better. Another concern listed by the watchdog was that two categories of standing tickets were listed at different prices, with the cheaper tickets sold first before the more expensive ones were released. This caused fans to wait in long queues without realising they would have to pay a higher price than expected, the CMA added. Since the opening of the investigation, Ticketmaster has made changes to some aspects of its ticket sales process, but the CMA does not currently consider these changes are sufficient to address its concerns. Hayley Fletcher, Interim Senior Director of Consumer Protection at the CMA, said: 'Fans reported problems when buying Oasis tickets from Ticketmaster and we decided those concerns warranted investigation. 'We're concerned that Oasis fans didn't get the information they needed or may have been misled into buying tickets they thought were better than they were. 'All ticketing websites should check they are complying with the law and treating their customers fairly. When businesses get it right, consumers benefit – and that's the best outcome for everyone.' Oasis last year blamed its management for the dynamic pricing fiasco. The band said it was 'not aware' the system would be used and that the decision was instead made during meetings between Ticketmaster, promoters and management. This is despite the fact that Debbie Gwyther, 40, the girlfriend of frontman Liam, manages him. A statement by the band said: 'As for the well reported complaints many buyers had over the operation of dynamic ticketing: it needs to be made clear that Oasis leave decisions on ticketing and pricing entirely to their promoters and management, and at no time had any awareness that dynamic pricing was going to be used. 'While prior meetings between promoters, Ticketmaster and the band's management resulted in a positive ticket sale strategy, which would be a fair experience for fans, including dynamic ticketing to help keep general ticket prices down as well as reduce touting, the execution of the plan failed to meet expectations. 'All parties involved did their utmost to deliver the best possible fan experience, but due to the unprecedented demand this became impossible to achieve.' In a statement, a spokesman for Ticketmaster UK said: 'At Ticketmaster, we strive to provide the best ticketing platform through a simple, transparent and consumer-friendly experience. We welcome the CMA's input in helping make the industry even better for fans.'

Oasis tour 2025: Dates, tickets, setlist rumours and what to know

The wait is finally over. After 16 years, Oasis will reunite on Friday July 4 for the first of two spectacular stadium shows in Cardiff, before embarking on a wider tour that takes in Manchester's Heaton Park, Wembley Stadium in London and Murrayfield in Edinburgh – as well as dates in cities from New York to Sydney and Buenos Aires later in the year. Fans never thought it would happen; unprecedented demand crashed Ticketmaster, sparked a row over dynamic pricing and saw around 1.4 million lucky Britons – of 14 million who tried – secure a ticket. But how will the shows go? Liam and Noel Gallagher are as famous for their bust-ups and lairy behaviour as they are their songs – but concerns about whether arguments will interfere with the tour should be quelled by realism: there's a lot of money on the line for Manchester's gobbiest brothers, and they're probably not going to risk messing their big payday up. So, if you're one of the fortunate people to have tickets, here's everything you need to know ahead of the decade's most anticipated tour: from all of the dates to the band's line-up, rumoured setlist and confirmed support acts, we have you covered. Skip to What's on the setlist? Who's actually in the band? Ticket information Who is supporting? Where to buy merch Our tips – from those who've been Oasis tour: UK dates and locations Cardiff, Principality Stadium – July 4 and 5 Manchester, Heaton Park – July 11, 12, 16, 19 and 20 London, Wembley Stadium – July 25, 26 and 30; August 2 and 3; September 27 and 28 Edinburgh, Murrayfield Stadium – August 8, 9 and 12 What's on the setlist? Unsurprisingly, the tour's setlist is being kept closely under wraps, but that doesn't mean there aren't rumours. Liam Gallagher responded to a 'leaked' list circulating on X with 'It's not far off', which is perhaps unsurprising given Oasis didn't make that much music: seven albums, but, let's be honest, only four of those – Definitely Maybe, (What's the Story) Morning Glory?, Be Here Now and, at a push, Heathen Chemistry – actually contain songs fans want to hear. The setlist is rumoured to be made up of 21 songs, and is likely to include the following tracks: Acquiesce Some Might Say Lyla Shakermaker The Hindu Times She's Electric Stand By Me Stop Crying Your Heart Out The Importance Of Being Idle Half The World Away Whatever Slide Away Supersonic Morning Glory Rock'n'Roll Star Cigarettes & Alcohol Wonderwall Don't Look Back In Anger Live Forever Champagne Supernova
