Oklahoma Sooners projected to land four-star athlete out of Missouri
Eberhart was on campus with the Oklahoma Sooners for the ChampU BBQ and also took official visits with Nebraska and Missouri this summer. He also holds offers from several SEC schools, including Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, LSU, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and Vanderbilt.
He's a talented athlete who plays on both sides of the ball at Kirkwood but is expected to play defense for the Sooners. Eberhart has good size and could contribute at safety, cheetah, or linebacker in Brent Venables' defense.
If the Sooners are able to beat out Nebraska and Missouri, he'd be the second prospect from the state of Missouri to join OU's 2026 recruiting class, following the commitment from running back DeZephen Walker.

Sean Payton doesn't seem to be a big fan of doing two joint practices
The Denver Broncos agreed to a pair of joint practices this summer, one on the road against the San Francisco 49ers and a second at home against the Arizona Cardinals. Practicing with two different teams in one summer was a first for coach Sean Payton. "This is the first time for me, and for us, where [we have] back-to-back joint practices," Payton said Tuesday. "And so, when you have a joint practice, you lose a day -- like the day prior, you gotta be smart. The day after [is a walk-through]. So it can … when you get the calendar at the start of preseason, you lay it out and you see when your games are, there's three of them. And when you add a joint practice, it's a little different the day before and the day after. "So, when you have two of them, it can cut into maybe your installation and your normal training camp routine. So, the first time for us to do two, we'll see if we ever do it again. I'm used to really one either Week 2 or Week 3. So what was different was Week 1. And that's just one of those things you make a note of." Payton did not directly say he wouldn't do two again, but he certainly seemed to imply it. Payton also wasn't a fan of how long the 49ers practice lasted. "Thursday's practice was pretty long, maybe a little longer than I would've liked, and then the turnaround and then the game on Saturday," Payton said, perhaps hinting that this week's joint practice won't be as long. After a pair of joint practices over the last week, Denver's starters might not play as much on Saturday as they did in Week 2 of preseason last summer. 'It may," Payton said when asked if the joint practices will impact how much starters play. "It may because, again, this is a first. Normally, I would go into the second quarter. I don't know that I'm going to do that based on the schedule. We'll see.' Saturday's game will be nationally televised on NFL Network (and available on these TV channels). Notre Dame will host the nation's top 2027 overall prospect for a visit this fall
Notre Dame football has an elite offensive line tradition one that puts them among the nation's best, and they've typically done it with lower ranked recruits. Well, that looks like it could be changing, as over the last few cycles the Irish have landed top prospects like Charles Jagusah, Guerby Lambert, and Will Black. All of them were top-100 prospects and while the 2026 class doesn't have a player like that, the 2027 one class could. The No. 1 overall player in the 247Sports Composite is Texas offensive tackle Kennedy Brown, and according to Nate Gravender, he will take at least three visits to see games this fall, one of them being to South Bend. He'll also visit Clemson and Tennessee, and could obviously take others, but it's great news for the Irish that he's already planning a trip. In the recruiting website era, the highest prospect Notre Dame has signed was quarterback Jimmy Clausen, who was the No. 2 overall recruit in the 2007 class. Brown would sit on top of this list if he were the ultimately pick the Irish, and they're off to a great start in his recruitment.
