Netflix You finale ending explained and what happens to Joe Goldberg
It's been another rollercoaster ride for one of Netflix's controversial characters, Joe Goldberg, the lead character of You
The ending has arguably been a long time coming for the series' main character Joe Goldberg

Netflix's You finale dropped with the final twist for Joe Goldberg, who is the central character and serial killer who drives the plot. Under his new London alias 'Jonathan Moore,' we finally see him come to terms with what he has done after a decade of murders and mayhem which has captured a fascinated audience who have found themselves conflicted over the years.
The psychological thriller follows Joe, whose obsessive quest for love drives him to stalk, manipulate and sometimes murder the women he becomes infatuated with, all while repeatedly reinventing himself under new identities. This ending has been a long time coming and has confirmed what lots of fans believed would be the inevitable as he finally faces justice.

In the closing moments, we watch Joe attempt to flee to Canada with his new love interest, only to discover that she is not just another fling but Louise by another name, and is a famous character from season one's friend, set on ensuring he never hurts anyone again. Viewers will remember this character (Beck) who was Joe's first obsession in the series, an aspiring writer who was killed by Joe, setting the story into motion at the very beginning.
Bronte, who is really Louise in disguise, is Beck's old college friend who also appeared in season one.
Their cat-and-mouse game reaches its peak with Bronte, who has been resisting Joe's manipulations from the very start, and shoots him.

As the police storm the scene, handcuffs finally click around Joe's wrists, marking the first time he's lost control of the narrative.
Joe is later convicted and sent to be behind bars, instead of hiding behind bookstores and cafés he once obsessed over.
In prison, he is shown stripped of his usual comforts and left to think about his crimes rather than crafting elaborate justifications for them.

One of the most chilling visuals is Joe quietly reading Norman Mailer's The Executioner's Song, which may be a subtle nod to both his fate and our society's fascination with true crime.
Joe also accuses the audience itself of complicity in a voiceover, suggesting that the real monster might just be the collective obsession with romanticised killers.
It's a fitting send-off for a character who's spent four seasons convincing us that he's the unlikely hero of his own story, only to have the façade finally ripped away.

Kate also reappears - Kate is a London art dealer who was first introduced on the series in season four. And her survival alongside characters like Bronte seem to serve as a stark contrast to Joe's downfall and underlines the show's shift towards true female agency.
Gone are the days when Joe could manipulate and eliminate anyone who got in his way as here, he is forced to confront the very real damage he has inflicted, framed by bars instead of book stacks.
Showrunners Michael Foley and Justin W. Lo have explained that this ending was always meant to challenge viewers to stop glorifying Joe and start recognising the humanity of his victims.

The finale also ties back to Beck's tragic storyline by introducing Bronte as a reminder that Joe's past sins would eventually catch up with him.
While fans of the series have long debated whether Joe could ever redeem himself, the final episode makes it clear that some wounds can never be healed with love letters or confessions.

Adele says relationship with son has changed after poignant moment

Adolescence hit screens earlier this year on Netflix and has quickly become a fan favourite, with many hoping another series is in the works Adele says her relationship with her son has changed after a poignant moment between them. The singing superstar has said that she has written letters of thanks to the creators of the Netflix hit series Adolescence for the impact it has had on her and her son. The 37-year-old told director Philip Barantini that she watched the series alongside 13-year-old son Angelo. She said the programme changed "her relationship" with Angelo who she shares with ex-husband Simon Konecki. ‌ Adolescence landed on Netflix earlier this year and was an instant hit. It stars Owen Cooper and Stephen Graham and tells the story of a 13-year-old schoolboy accused of murdering a classmate after being radicalised by misogynistic social media content. ‌ The Sun reported that Philip said: "I am getting messages, inundated on Instagram, from people from all over the world who can relate to this story or have really been affected by it. That, for me, has blown my mind a little bit. "I had a text message from Steven Spielberg who has watched it twice, and I got letters from Adele last week - handwritten letters from Adele. I mean, just like saying that she had watched it with her son, and it has changed their relationship. "Things like that are just beyond anything I ever imagined from this little show that we made with our family. You see things like Baby Reindeer and all of those shows — they come out and then they just blow up. It's a huge thing and that is the power of Netflix. "For some reason, because we made it in Yorkshire and it is set in a small town in England, I never thought in a million years it would be the number one show in India or Venezuela." ‌ The series has became Netflix's second most-watched English-language TV show ever only behind Wednesday, which is the Addams family spin-off. Since its March 13 debut, Adolescence has amassed 141.2 million views so far. Prime Minister Keir Starmer has also praised the show and how popular it has been across the world. He has even gone on to say that he thinks that schools should show the series to students for educational purposes. Sir Keir said he watched the series with his 14-year-old daughter and 16-year-old son. He said: "As a dad, I have not found it easy viewing." Main actor Owen Cooper has risen to fame since the show. He has been getting a lot of media attention after becoming an overnight star and even appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last week.

Stirling's new pizza restaurant was so good we went back for more

Have you ever eaten something so good that you still think about it years later? For me, it's a margherita pizza from Napizza in Stirling. A few months after I moved to the city, I was hearing stellar reviews of the Friars Street restaurant and wanted to see if it was as good as everyone claimed. It was. The base was soft, yet chewy, and that classic tomato and mozzarella combination was perfection. I couldn't wait to go back, but it wasn't to be. Napizza closed down, then the pandemic struck, and the world came to a halt. Little did I know, five years later, I would be eating the very pizza I had thought about countless times. And as it turns out, I wasn't the only one fantasising about that authentic Neapolitan pizza. One of Napizza's most loyal customers, David Atkins, was waiting in line for at a pizza restaurant in Italy when he decided to message the owner, Alex Sorlei. The pair then decided to go into business together and bring those benchmark pizzas back to Stirling. Piotsa Pizza officially opened on May 15 and, of course, I had to pay a visit. I'm told there was a queue down the street on opening day It was just as busy on the Friday, but luckily my partner Joe managed to snag the last table. The King Street restaurant is very inviting. There's warm lights, brick walls and you can watch the pizza chefs at work in the open kitchen. You can feel the buzz in the air as diners debate which of the ten pizzas to choose from. People are waiting by the door for a takeaway and based on the reactions of the pizza fans around me, I have high expectations. Somehow the chefs don't seem overwhelmed as they make their way through the mountain of orders. The rosemary fries (£4.50) are the first thing to arrive. Each chip is crispy, some crunchier than others, plus they're fresh and flavourful. It doesn't take long for us to devour them and await the main event. I chose the four meats pizza (£15) which is topped with Parma ham, salami, nduja and pancetta. The base is also half margherita and half fior de latte. I'm not sure words can do this pizza justice, but every bite was just as I remembered. The dough is light and pillowy, the edges lightly scorched from the wood-fired oven and providing that subtle charred flavour. Each quarter brings something different – spicy, salty, rich, gooey mozzarella. Once devoured, I knew that I needed to visit Piotsa again for another one of these perfect pizzas. Joe was of the same opinion. His pizza, the diavola (£13), was topped with San Marzano tomatoes, smoked fior di latte, Neapolitan sausage, chilli flakes and basil. It too is just as he remembers, perhaps better. Gelato and tiramisu feature on the dessert menu, but we decide on the Nutella calzone (£10). As you cut into it, Nutella oozes out the side and it's satisfying to scoop it back onto the dough. It's reminiscent of roasted hazelnuts, as the faint smokiness on the dough from the oven couples with the chocolate. It's rich, sweet and an outstanding end to our meal. When I first interviewed Alex and David, it was evident how much passion goes into this pizza. Alex, who lived in Naples for 17 years, prides himself on creating authentic pizza with fresh ingredients. He has honed his craft through books and real-life experience. This comes through in every visit to Piotsa and, given how busy it has been, these pizzas have been deeply missed. It lives up to and goes beyond my memories of Napizza. The food is faultless, the staff are friendly and the restaurant is incredibly inviting. This is genuinely the best pizza I have ever eaten. At the time of writing, it has been 10 days since Piotsa opened. We've now been three times and I expect that a fourth visit is not far away. As Joe put it: 'Every waking moment I'm not eating this pizza, I'm thinking about the next moment I'm going to be eating this pizza.' Address: 35 King Street, Stirling, FK8 1DN Telephone: 01786 643308 Website: Price: £51.50 for two drinks, two mains and one dessert Accessible: Yes Dog Friendly: No : Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Surrounding: 5/5

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives The second series of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives landed on Disney+ just last month, charting the volatile relationships of several Mormon content creators from Utah, known as Mom Tok. ‌ After allegations of swinging and affairs were made public in 2022 by Taylor Frankie Paul, a spotlight was cast on her friendship circle, who now air their dirty linen in a reality series. Featuring fiery rows and marital meltdowns, confessions and accusations of infidelity, the forthcoming third series promises to be as explosive as ever. ‌ Below Deck The Bravo series Below Deck, which has since spawned numerous spin-offs, first hit our screens in 2013, documenting the lives of crew members working on a luxury yacht. From guests moaning and criticising, to staff showdowns and heated arguments, there's never a dull moment on board. The Below Deck franchise has since won over audiences globally and received several Primetime Emmy Award nominations. ‌ Vanderpump Villa Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump launched a series of her own spin-off shows following her dramatic exit from the Housewives. Vanderpump Villa, the fifth show after Vanderpump Rules, unveils the lives of her staff working in her posh French villa, Chateau Rosabelle, with drama stemming from the tensions of the crew living and working together. ‌ Ladies of London Over a decade before she started filming for The Real Housewives of London, Juliet Angus first appeared in Ladies of London. The reality series followed the lives of six British socialites and American expats juggling their families, businesses and social lives. Bravo declared in 2017 that there wouldn't be a fourth season of the show, only to surprise fans last month by announcing its return with "a new wave of British blue bloods, ambitious American expats and glamorous international socialites". The press release sparked interest with: "As tradition clashes with the fast-paced globalised world, these power players redefine what it means to be a woman of status in one of the most iconic cities in the world. Here connections are currency and the crown isn't the only thing up for grabs."
