Everyone Had Same Reaction To President Trump Golf Announcement
President Trump spent the Fourth of July holiday weekend at his golf club in New Jersey.
The President of the United States spent the holiday at the White House on Friday. However, according to reports, he then headed up to New Jersey, to spend time at his private golf club in Bedminster. The President of the United States has multiple private golf clubs that he enjoys spending time at, especially hitting the links.
President Trump spends a lot of time on the golf course, playing several rounds per year - if not more. Some close to President Trump have suggested that he loves golf more than anything.
But this weekend, in the wake of the Texas flooding tragedy, the President of the United States took heat on social media.
Everyone on social media seemed to have the same reaction to President Trump spending time at his golf course in New Jersey rather than heading to Texas.
"20 Children in the United States got washed away by a horrific flash flood in Texas today. And what did Donald Trump do? Of course, he went to play Golf," one fan wrote.
"Trump leaving his golf club this weekend. His golf trips cost taxpayers millions. Why doesn't he cut those instead of staff at the National Weather Service?" one fan added.
"Children are dead in Texas due to flooding and Trump is at a high end golf course in NJ.... if this were Biden the GOP would be going crazy," one fan added.
"Just a reminder - Trump and Republicans cut over $2.6 Billion in funding to NOAA AND FEMA. However, To date - U.S. tax payers have paid approximately $162 Million for Trump's 54 golf trips so far this year. Let that sink in," one fan added.
President Trump, meanwhile, released a statement on Texas late on Sunday night.
"I just signed a Major Disaster Declaration for Kerr County, Texas, to ensure that our Brave First Responders immediately have the resources they need. These families are enduring an unimaginable tragedy, with many lives lost, and many still missing. The Trump Administration continues to work closely with State and Local Leaders. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem was on the ground yesterday with Governor Greg Abbott, who is working hard to help the people of his Great State. Our incredible U.S. Coast Guard, together with State First Responders, have saved more than 850 lives. GOD BLESS THE FAMILIES, AND GOD BLESS TEXAS!" he wrote.

Trump says he's considering revoking Rosie O'Donnell's citizenship, reigniting decades-long feud
President Donald Trump reignited a decades-long feud with comedian Rosie O'Donnell Saturday, taking to his Truth Social platform to write he was considering revoking her citizenship. 'Because of the fact that Rosie O'Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship,' Trump wrote. 'She is a Threat to Humanity, and should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her. GOD BLESS AMERICA!' Steve Vladeck, CNN Supreme Court analyst and professor at Georgetown Law, said Saturday that Trump's threat of 'coercive expatriation' was 'patently unconstitutional.' 'For good reasons, it is difficult to denaturalize a U.S. citizen and even harder to expatriate one,' Vladeck wrote in April. 'Congress has provided for only a handful of circumstances in which the executive branch is empowered to pursue such a move; and the Supreme Court has recognized meaningful constitutional limits (and an entitlement to meaningful judicial review) even in those cases.' CNN has reached out to the White House about what prompted the president's threat — but O'Donnell drew attention last weekend after she posted a video to TikTok slamming the Trump administration's response to the Texas floods, claiming the president 'gut(ted) all of the early warning systems and the weathering‑forecast abilities of the government,' stymying the federal response. American-born O'Donnell moved to Ireland shortly before Trump's inauguration in January, telling CNN in April that Trump's reelection prompted the move. 'I knew after reading Project 2025 that if Trump got in, it was time for me and my nonbinary child to leave the country,' she told CNN's Wolf Blitzer and Pamela Brown. 'I have no regrets. Not a day has gone by that I thought it was the wrong decision. I was welcomed with open arms.' Responding to the president's post Saturday, O'Donnell wrote on Instagram, 'you want to revoke my citizenship? go ahead and try, king joffrey with a tangerine spray tan. i'm not yours to silence. i never was.' On Sunday, the comedian went further, telling Ireland's RTÉ Radio 1 that Trump is 'a danger to the world. I mean that's the bottom line.' 'I am very proud to be opposed to every single thing he says and does and represents. I think he's a racist and he's misogynistic and he's sexist,' O'Donnell said. Asked about Trump's threat to remove her citizenship, O'Donnell added, 'I know he can't do that, but the Supreme Court has given him unbridled powers, and who knows what he can and can't do.' 'He shouldn't be allowed to be doing what he is to immigrants in the United States without due process, but he's doing it anyway,' she said. 'This is not America. This is not democracy.' Trump and O'Donnell have clashed since at least 2006, after O'Donell — then a co-host of 'The View' — called Trump a 'snake-oil salesman on Little House On The Prairie,' and said he went bankrupt, which Trump denied. For his part, Trump has called O'Donnell 'a real loser,' 'crude, rude, obnoxious, and dumb,' and 'a pig' over the years. CNN's Billy Stockwell contributed to this report.
