New venue in Glasgow West End to open doors this month
Thunderdog, which comes from the team behind Thundercat in Merchant City and Buck's Bar, will launch on Byres Road.

Hailed as the team's largest venue to date - with 160 covers inside and 40 outside -Thunderdog's menu will feature Thundercat favourites like Chicago-style deep dish pizza, smash burgers, Shakes and Fried Pickles.
Meanwhile, unique to ThunderDog, the new spot will also serve buttermilk fried chicken dogs in a steamed brioche bun with flavours and sauces inspired by Buck's Bar's chicken burger menu.

Thunderdog says it is determined to keep prices 'easy on the pocket', with drinks deals from £3 available, as well as pints from £4.50 and mains from £8.50.
The venue has a late license and will be open until 1am with DJ's spinning classic funk and disco Thursday to Sunday.
Taking to Instagram, the venue announced today that signage for the new spot was officially up.
People already seem to be buzzing about the opening of the new spot.
One person said: "Can't wait to visit! Buttermilk fried chicken dogs sound incredible."
Another said: "This is so so exciting! We can't wait to see it!"
A third added: "A fantastic addition to the West End. Looking forward to popping in soon."
Another person said: "Love this!!!"

It was reported that at least 10 cast members opted out of performing as a way to boycott his attendance, meaning that understudies were likely called upon to step in. When asked about this form of defiance from the cast, Trump responded that he was unbothered. 'I couldn't care less. Honestly, I couldn't,' said Trump. 'All I do is run the country well.' When the boycott was first discussed in May, Kennedy Center director Richard Grenell said the move was 'vapid and intolerant'. 'Any performer who isn't professional enough to perform for patrons of all backgrounds, regardless of political affiliation, won't be welcomed,' said Grennell to CNN. 'In fact, we think it would be important to out those vapid and intolerant artists to ensure producers know who they shouldn't hire – and that the public knows which shows have political litmus tests to sit in the audience. 'The Kennedy Center wants to be a place where people of all political stripes sit next to each other and never ask who someone voted for but instead enjoys a performance together.' 'I've seen it, we've seen it, a number of times, it's fantastic. It was just about our first choice. That's what we got and we've got other ones coming, other great ones coming,' Trump said. Despite being a huge fan, the President was unable to answer basic questions about the plot, like whether he found himself relating to the villain or the hero of the play. The reporter asked the President if he felt more aligned with the ruthless Inspector Javert, or Jean Valjean, the former convict mercilessly hunted down by Javert for stealing a loaf of bread to feed his family. 'Oh, that's a tough one, the last part of that question, that's tough, I think,' Trump said with a laugh. 'You better answer that one honey, I don't know.' The series 12 Love Island stars are beginning their fame journey - but two of the boys hard to recognise in pre-villa pics before undergoing hair transplants Love Island stars Ben Holbrough and Harry Cooksley look unrecognisable in pre-villa pics, as both have revealed they've undergone a hair transplant. Ben, 23, underwent the treatment at the age of 22, just one year before heading into the Love Island villa, while 30-year-old Harry travelled to Turkey to have the procedure at 24. Both Islanders have played a huge part in the shows drama this series, despite only being in the villa for a matter of days. On the first night, Ben, who was coupled up with Shakira, was stolen by American bombshell Toni. This left Shakira with just 24 hours to form a connection with another Islander. She struck up a connection with Harry, who was originally coupled up with Sophie - who was brutally dumped from the villa on day 2. However, Shakira and Toni may struggle to recognise their partners in pics before their hair transplants. Harry on the other hand, travelled to Turkey around six years ago for his operation - which he called the "perfect experience." In a YouTube video from the clinic documenting his journey, the star said: 'It was a perfect experience for something that I really wanted to have done and I'm very glad that I found EstePera.' Showing off the before and after results, Harry looked completely unrecognisable with no hair. It looks like it's set to be another dramatic night for Harry tonight as he finds out Blu and Shakira shared a kiss. It's Dejon who spills the tea, as he tells his friend: 'You know he (Blu) kissed her (Shakira)?' A shocked Harry then replies: 'No he didn't…I don't believe what I'm hearing.' Harry then asks Shakira about the kiss with Blu before telling her: 'All that matters is I want to pursue things with you.'
