One dead, 2 hurt after tricycle collides with wing van in Albay

A tricycle collided with a wing van on a highway in Polangui, Albay leaving at least one person dead and two severely injured. As seen on a dashcam video, the tricycle was traversing the outer lane of the highway when it veered right and hit a car which immediately swerved to avoid a crash. The minor contact however caused the tricycle driver to lose control of the vehicle and ended up colliding with a wing van coming from the opposite lane. A passenger of the tricycle was declared dead on arrival at a hospital, while another passenger and the driver were severely injured. Authorities are still looking for the driver of the car, as reported on GMA's '24 Oras Weekend' on Sunday. —Jon Viktor Cabuenas/RF, GMA Integrated News
