cybercrime police
on Friday arrested a man who allegedly created a
fake mail ID
of Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad and send fraudulent mails to agency engaged in preparing the board results to alter the marks of three students.Police said the accused Abhishek Soni (34) of Colonelganj runs a photocopy and online filing shop outside the office of Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad.He created a fake email ID of the UP Board and lured students for marksheet correction and increase in numbers in lieu of money.It was reported that the accused attempted to increase the number of three students by sending an email to the agency engaged in preparing the results.
The agency authorities detected the fake mail ID and reported the matter to the cybercrime police station. He was booked under sections 318 (4) and 319 (2) of BNS and sections 66C and 66D of the IT Act. Police also seized three mobile sets and four SIM cards from his possession.

Truck burnt by mob in Gzb, police say it was carrying cow meat
Ghaziabad: A truck transporting meat was set ablaze by right-wing activists in the Bhojpur area on Tuesday night. The group that stopped the truck accused the driver of carrying beef and assaulted him and his helper before handing them over to the cops. ACP Modinagar Gyan Prakash Rai said the truck was stopped around 8pm on the Pilkhuwa-Modinagar road after it had crossed Faridnagar. A police team from Bhojpur that reached the spot with a veterinary expert found a cow hide in the truck, following which the driver and helper were taken into custody. "The driver, Waseem, told cops the meat was loaded in Hapur and was headed for Mohali. Waseem and his helper Imraan have been booked under relevant sections of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960," the ACP said. Samples of the meat and hide have been sent for further tests. Cops said around a hundred people, including members of VHP and Bajrang Dal, had gathered on the road after they got information that a truck carrying banned cow meat was headed to the area. After intercepting it, the mob pulled out the driver and his helper and assaulted the two. They also lobbed stones at the vehicle and hit it with sticks. Lucknow: Income tax joint commissioner Yogendra Kumar Mishra was suspended Wednesday, six days after allegedly assaulting a junior officer during a closed-door departmental meeting in Lucknow, reportedly over a cricket team captaincy row.
