I Don't Even Know Where to Begin with Doechii's Paris Fashion Week Look
Getty Images
It was only a few years ago that Doechii was gaining attention on TikTok, and now the rapper is sitting front row at Paris Fashion Week shows. And technically, while she's there to watch the looks go down the runway, we can't help but keep our attention on her look at the Acne Studios Womenswear Fall/Winter show at L'Observatoire de Paris on Wednesday. Instead of one bold beauty element, the Grammy winner went for it in every possible way with bold hair, makeup, and nail choices.
Where do I even begin? At the top, I suppose! Doechii's hair was styled into messy pigtails, with some of her hair tucked under into bun-like shapes, and some left loose, cascading on top. They're draped with the ends of two braid crowns that frame her face in structured curves.
Let's move on to her makeup which features not one, not two, not three, not four, but five bold details. Her shimmery, gold-toned lips are lined in contrasting thick, black pencil—a thicker pencil than the one that was used to draw in eyebrows over her hidden natural brows. Her blush could not be brighter, although the solid, pale green shadow packed onto her lids is definitely trying to compete. And behind the little glasses she wore were spidery lashes created with intentionally clumpy, piled-on mascara.
To complete the look, Doechii wore super-duper long, pointy nails with a variegated brown, tortoiseshell-esque finish that feels so right with the plaid schoolgirl-meets-toga ensemble she wore to the show.
If you haven't already figured out that Doechii is one of the most prolific new beauty chameleons, take into consideration how she looked at Tuesday's Grand Fashion Dinner at the Louvre.
The elegant updo! The glossy, brick-red ombré lips! The winged lashes! The textured gold manicure! She can truly wear any and all beauty looks—often simultaneously.
