Both, day temperatures and night temperatures are likely to go up from Tuesday (July 29).
The conditions are not favorable for good rains for the next one week. Parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema may experience strong winds with speed of 40-50 kmph for the next three days, said S Karunasagar, scientist at IMD-Amaravati.
The weathermen said parts of the north coastal Andhra Pradesh (NCAP), south coastal Andhra Pradesh (SCAP) and Rayalaseema experienced moderate to heavy rainfall in the past one week (from July 18 to 25) due to low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal.
With the Bay of Bengal not indicating any possible signs of significant low pressure or depression, CAP and Rayalaseema regions in the state are expected to witness erratic rainfall over the coming seven to ten days.
Despite the early onset of the southwest monsoon over Andhra Pradesh (nine days ahead of its usual June 4 onset), many parts of the state recorded deficit rainfall.
Against the normal rainfall of 212.6 mm, the state received 169.4 mm rainfall from June 1 to July 28, which translates to a 20 per cent deficit.
On Monday (July 28), Vizag city recorded the maximum temperature of 37 degree Celsius. Vizagites experienced hot, humid and uncomfortable weather conditions.

So far this month, the city has recorded 220.2 mm of rainfall, exceeding the normal mark of 209.7 mm, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). From June 1 till now, Delhi has received 322.2 mm of rainfall, higher than the average seasonal figure of 270.1 mm. Monsoon hit the city late June. Between 8.30 am and 2.30 pm on Tuesday, the city recorded 68.1 mm of rainfall at its primary weather station in Safdarjung. Other stations reported varying amounts — the Ridge recorded 129.5 mm, Lodhi Road 71.8 mm, Pragati Maidan 45.5 mm, and Pusa 37.5 mm — as per data from the Regional Meteorological Centre. The weather department has forecast that the rain spell is likely to continue over the next seven days, or until at least August 3.
