FESPA Foundation Expands Global Print for Good Projects
The FESPA Foundation is expressing its gratitude to a growing list of industry partners who continue to support its mission to uplift underserved communities through educational print resources. As the FESPA Global Print Expo 2025 approaches—scheduled for 6–9 May at Messe Berlin, Germany—the Foundation is also calling on visitors to contribute donations and school supplies to fuel upcoming projects. Key partners such as Canon, Brother, Roland DG, HP, Fujifilm, DSV Logistics, and Kornit Digital, among others, have played a vital role in enabling the Foundation to deliver printed materials to disadvantaged educational institutions. These partnerships were instrumental in the success of the Foundation's first project: the transformation of Evane Intermediate School in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Overseen by Steve Thobela ka Mdlalose, the project involved classroom and restroom renovations and distributing learning resources to 90 children. At FESPA 2025, the Foundation will collect printed materials and in-kind donations, including notebooks, stationery, reading glasses, and clothing, which will be delivered to four additional schools in Southern Africa: Malekapane School, Pitseng Ya Thuto School, Madisei Primary School, and Batau Primary School. Exhibitor partners are also set to produce maps, posters, uniforms, and other learning aids. Thanks to DSV Logistics, all donated goods will be shipped free of charge to their destinations in South Africa. The Foundation plans to replicate these initiatives in other parts of the world by diverting printed materials from future FESPA events in Mexico, Brazil, and Asia to local communities in need, and funding outreach in these regions. Visitors to the expo can stop by the FESPA Foundation stand at the South Entrance of Messe Berlin to watch a video on the Evane School project and learn how they can help. Neil Felton, CEO of FESPA and founder of the FESPA Foundation, shared: 'We are incredibly grateful to our Partners for their commitment to our mission. Their support not only fuels life-changing, education-focused projects around the world, it also reflects the generosity and spirit of collaboration that defines our global print community.' He added: 'As we kickstart FESPA Global Print Expo 2025 in Berlin, we invite others to support us by donating and also by using the hashtag #BringItToBerlin. Together, we can continue to demonstrate Print For Good.' To donate or collaborate with the Foundation, visit:
