June 26 (UPI) -- Charlize Theron and Uma Thurman stepped out for the Los Angeles premiere of The Old Guard 2 ahead of the film's Netflix arrival July 2.
The screening took place at the Tudum Theater Wednesday.
Theron portrays the formerly immortal being Andromache of Scythia, aka Andy, who seeks to protect humans. The Monster actress, 49, wore a mesh bodysuit underneath a long, navy blue blazer.
Thurman, who portrays Andy's longtime rival Discord, wore a long cream-colored dress.
Other cast members in attendance include KiKi Layne, Marwan Kenzar, Henry Golding and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
Matthias Schoenaerts, Veronica Ngo and Luca Marinelli also star.
The films take their inspiration from the graphic novels penned by Greg Rucka and illustrated by Leandro Fernandez.
Thurman, 55, has also joined the cast of Dexter: Resurrection opposite Michael C. Hall and Peter Dinklage.

Watch: Domino tower measuring over 33 feet tall breaks world record
June 26 (UPI) -- A YouTuber who specializes in domino feats broke a Guinness World Record when she and her team assembled the world's tallest domino structure, measuring 33 feet and 2.74 inches tall. Lily Hevesh, aka Hevesh5 on YouTube, assembled a team of domino-building experts at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. Hevesh's team included Stephan Burton, Alex Huang, Brady Dolan, Michael Fantauzzo, Paul Nelson, Wim van Otterdijk, William Ford, Pim Vriens, Ivan Kramskoy and Marco Vorbusch. The team spent five days assembling a domino tower measuring 33 feet and 2.74 inches tall, breaking the previous record of 32 feet, 10.8 inches. The team celebrated by throwing a stuffed squirrel toy at the top of the tower and watching it collapse.

The film, from writer-director Ari Aster (Hereditary), follows a small town sheriff (Phoenix) running against the incumbent Ted Garcia (Pascal) amid the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. The trailer, released Thursday, opens as the sheriff announces that an entire family was murdered. "You can't keep your own office going, but you're gonna run mine?" Garcia yells as the preview continues. Emma Stone, Austin Butler, Luke Grimes, Deirdre O'Connell, Amelie Hoeferle, Clifton Collins Jr., William Belleau and Micheal Ward also star in the modern western. Watch: Blackpink shares 'Deadline' trailer ahead of world tour

The "Deadline" trailer begins with Rosé standing in a telephone booth in the middle of the desert, wearing knee-high black boots, a jacket, and a cowboy hat. The clip introduces each of the K-pop stars one-by-one as they pile into a pink convertible. The group, which consists of Rosé, Lisa, Jennie and Jisoo, are set to perform in South Korea, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, London and Tokyo. The Deadline world tour begins July 5 and concludes Jan. 18, 2026, and comes on the heels of the members' solo albums. Rosé released her album Rosie in December, followed by Jisoo's EP, Amortage, in February. Lisa and Jennie released Alter Ego and Ruby, respectively, in March. They previously teased their tour in April with a video dedicated to their fanbase, known as "Blinks."
