The news of her passing was first shared by journalist Vickey Lalwani on social media. 'Shefali Jariwala, the Kaanta Laga girl, is no more. The reason of her death is not known yet to this journalist, but I can confirm that she was brought dead to Bellevue Multispeciality hospital (opposite Star Bazaar Andheri) about 45 minutes prior to this post. Shefali was rushed to the hospital by her husband and three others. This news was confirmed by the reception staff of the hospital, who said, 'Shefali had expired before she was brought in. Her husband and a few others accompanied the body.' Recalling the night, Pooja said, 'But what I have understood from family, from Parag is that there was a beautiful Satyanarayan ki puja. In fact, the next day when we were allowed to enter home to bring Shefali for the last rites, I realised that the whole house was decorated for puja. So there was Satyanarayan ki puja at home and they did a beautiful puja setup at home." Pooja added that Shefali had dinner like usual and asked Parag to walk the dog. 'And the moment he went down, apparently he was called. The helper at home called him and said, 'Didi is not feeling well.' So, she told him, 'Could you just come up, take care of me?' The dog is really old. And he told the helper, 'I've just come down for a walk, so why don't you come down, take him for a walk and I'll come up.'" What happened next, she said, left everyone shaken. 'He was waiting down the lift, the helper came down, he handed over the dog and when he went up, Parag said that she still had the pulse. And her eyes were not opening and she just had dead weight to her body. So he immediately must have realised that something's definitely wrong. Actor Shefali Jariwala, who passed away on the night of June 27, was taking different types of medicines, including anti-ageing tablets , and her blood pressure had dropped possibly from consuming these on an empty stomach before she was rushed to hospital, police officials probing her death said on Monday. Jariwala (42), who shot to fame with her breakout appearance in the remix track "Kaanta Laga" and also appeared on several reality shows, was rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Andheri by her actor husband Parag Tyagi at 11:15pm on Friday, where doctors declared her dead on arrival. Police was informed at 1am on Saturday and her body was sent for post mortem to Cooper Hospital.
