Beyoncé Closes the Cowboy Carter London Shows in Stunning Gold Fringed Chaps

Elle17-06-2025
Beyoncé has officially wrapped her London Cowboy Carter Tour shows, and what better way to close it out than with a Sir Paul McCartney tribute?
For a performance of 'BLACKBIIRD,' which is her cover of the famous Beatles song, Mrs. Carter tapped the designer (and McCartney's daughter) Stella McCartney for a custom look. She wore a white bodysuit adorned with two blackbirds on the front (the word 'BLACKBIIRD' is also etched into the white fabric) and gold fringed chaps, handcrafted at the Stella McCartney London atelier. She topped off the look with gold heels, a diamond necklace, and diamond jewelry. The full outfit also included a white floor-length coat, a white cowboy hat, and aviator shades.
Beyoncé posted several shots of her look on Instagram and even included a (very rare) caption to accompany the photos. 'Thank you, Sir Paul McCartney, for writing one of the best songs ever made,' she wrote. 'Every time I sing it I feel so honored. And it is a full circle moment to wear your beautiful daughter's design.'
She went on to give a shout-out to London and tease her next tour. 'Thank you, London, for creating unforgettable memories for me and my family. Holla at 'ya when I come on tour again!'
The pop star also brought the white coat and white cowboy hat combo out for another look, which was a stunning blue rhinestone jumpsuit with a bald eagle embroidered on it. (The coat had an eagle on the back, too.) She posted the outfit in another Instagram carousel, which also included a few other new fashion moments.
In one shot, she's shown in an all-black outfit, wearing a corset, leather pants with lace detailing, a cowboy hat, a silver belt, and a veil. In another, she wears chunky tan belts as a top and pairs the look with denim shorts, a fringe jacket, white furry boots, brown gloves, and a hat that says, 'BNCNTRY,' which is a nod to her website where she's been posting personal and professional photos that honor her country roots.

60-Year-Old Model's Real Body Photos Go Viral

Paulina Porizkova, the Czech supermodel who became one of the most recognizable faces throughout the '80s and '90s, is going viral for her honest take on aging. For her 60th birthday, Porizkova posted side-by-side images on Instagram of her body at 60. In the first, she's kneeling on a beach cabana in a bikini. The caption reads: "This is me. Vacation, pretty light, posing for a shot." In the second, she stands for a casual selfie in her bathroom at home. "This is also me. Home, not great light, not posing," she wrote. Alongside the images, she reflected on what 60 means to her, writing, "This is 60. This is 60 years of sometimes healthy eating, sometimes not. 60 years of sometimes working out, sometimes not. 60 years of doing the right things followed by doing the wrong things and over again and again. It's 60 years of learning of what works and what doesn't. And just as I think I've figured it out, everything changes and I have to start again." She ended, "The beauty of 60 is that now I understand the importance is IN the lesson, not passing the exam." In a world where beauty standards keep getting more extreme, and social media often favors faces that look decades younger than they are, many have found it refreshing to see a supermodel be candid about aging. The comments quickly flooded with gratitude and personal stories. One person wrote: "Thank you for sharing and being real. I often see images of women on here going 'this is' and then whatever age they are but it's ALWAYS a super flattering photo not ever the realness of our ageing bodies. How are we ever going to accept ourselves if we're not seeing ourselves ✌🏽🧡🦋." Others shared their own struggles and the freedom that comes with letting go of perfection: "Looking gorgeous, as always, Paulina. I'm 64 and while I still hate my stomach—no matter how light the numbers on the scale read, it makes me sad—but with my sixties came this wonderful sense of 'f*ck it all,' and I keep on going." Many said her post helped them feel less alone. "THANK YOU - turning 60 this year and was feeling bad about myself but now I see I am totally normal - actually feel great now - THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS - so important for real women to see real women," one wrote. "Love you for showing that you are bit normal and that makes me feel better about myself 💕," another added. "Thank you for being REAL," this person said. In a interview back in January with TODAY, Paulina reflected on her career, her new partnership with Estée Lauder, and her life now — sharing how she hopes to use her platform to shift the conversation around aging and beauty. "I'm almost 60! I'm almost two months to 60 and I have never been so thrilled about a birthday in my life," she said. She continued, "I feel like I've paid my dues. I've raised the children, had the family, I've been the wife, I've done everything society expected of me. And you know what? It's my turn." When asked how she challenges the stigma around aging, Paulina replied, "We're so scared of wrinkles, have you noticed that? We are so terrified of wrinkles because I suppose wrinkles make us no longer relevant, no longer sexy, no longer desirable, and as women, that has been sort of our calling card." Yet, she added, "I keep looking at wrinkles, mine, yours, any woman that I see, and I think, 'It's your map of life. I see how you are as a person.'" "Why do we make wrinkles on the same par as acne?" she went on. "You know, those are the two things that people go to the dermatologist for, is acne and wrinkles. Acne is a disease, and wrinkles are the signs of privilege that you are alive. Why eliminate, why not embrace them? And I understand why, because society tells us that they don't want us once we become wrinkled." Since that interview — and outside of her birthday post — Paulina has continued to share photos and posts that challenge expectations of what aging "should" look like. In one post, she shared a photo of herself with what she called "an unfortunate angle and seriously unflattering light" to challenge the unrealistic standards and expectations on the app. "In selecting my photos for IG, I almost unconsciously gravitate to pictures where I look best — as in youngest. Least wrinkled, least saggy. So, in the last year or so I'm consciously choosing some that I would have never posted before," she wrote in the caption. In an online world that feeds me — a 27-year-old — consistent applause for face-lifts, advice on the "best" time to start preventative Botox, tips for hiding fine lines "before it's too late," and constant pressure to filter, Facetune, and alter my appearance to meet impossible standards, seeing an older woman embrace a natural process feels refreshing. We're taught to fear aging as early as children, so Paulina's openness is a perspective I think we need more of. Of course, Paulina is a supermodel, so I think the message is easier to swallow for some (would we be as accepting if she weren't already considered beautiful?). Still, I'm grateful to see even a hint of change. But what do you think? Let me know in the comments.

Brooklyn Beckham, Nicola Peltz reveal vow renewal 3 years after they married

Nicola and Brooklyn Peltz Beckham had a wedding so nice they decided to do it twice. The couple, who married in Palm, Beach, Florida, in April 2022, on Aug. 11 shared photos from a vow renewal ceremony. They gushed about the event in their Instagram captions, with Brooklyn, 26, writing, "Forever my girl." Nicola, 30, wrote, "this day meant so much to us" and "in every lifetime." On her Instagram story, "The Last Airbender" actress also shared a fan account's side-by-side photos comparing her vow renewal look to model mom Claudia Heffner Peltz wearing the same dress in her own wedding pictures. Nicola's father, businessman and investor Nelson Peltz, officiated the ceremony, with brother Brad − who was the "man of honor" at the Peltz Beckhams' 2022 wedding − also in attendance. A post shared by 𝓃𝒾𝒸𝑜𝓁𝒶 (@nicolaannepeltzbeckham) Brooklyn told People magazine on Aug. 6 that "it was beautiful." She added: "To be honest, I could renew my vows every single day with her." Per the magazine, the ceremony took place on Aug. 2. The photographer and hot sauce brand founder, who has a tattoo with his original vows, said, "These ones were actually longer than my original ones." He called three years of marriage with Nicola "a never-ending play date" and opened up about their low-key dynamic. "We don't like to go out for dinner, really. We don't like to party or anything like that. When we are together, which is a lot of the time, we just hang out with our four dogs, and drink wine at home," he said. David, Victoria Beckham took a European family vacation Though Brooklyn's parents, David and Victoria Beckham, attended his 2022 wedding, they didn't appear in the photos shared by the couple. USA TODAY has reached out to the Beckhams for comment. Previously, in February 2024, Victoria Beckham showed her support alongside sons Cruz and Brooklyn at the premiere of Nicola's directorial debut, "Lola," in Los Angeles. Following the 2022 ceremony, both Victoria and David Beckham shared posts welcoming Nicola to the family. In the days before the vow renewal ceremony, the Beckhams shared European vacation photos showing the family – including David, Victoria, Cruz, Harper and Romeo – enjoying time together on a yacht and at a French truffle restaurant. How did Nicola and Brooklyn Peltz Beckham meet? Speaking for Glamour's June cover story, the couple opened up about their memorable first impressions when they met while dating other people. "The first time I saw Nicola at Coachella [in 2017], I was instantly drawn to her. She was gorgeous, obviously, but it was her warmth and energy that stuck with me. Even though it was a blink-and-you-miss-it moment, I never forgot it," Brooklyn said. Nicola told the magazine: "It was brief, but I felt something. I had a boyfriend, he had a girlfriend – but there was this instant charm. He took a few photos of me, and somehow that moment stayed with me for years." The two revealed their engagement in 2020. They also explained the decision to change both of their names, with Nicola saying, "For me, it really mattered. Especially as a woman. If you don't want to give up your name, combining them is a good solution." As for public scrutiny, which both had experienced growing up in notable families, Brooklyn said, "Ignore the noise. Keep your head down, work hard, be kind. People are always going to talk. What matters is that we're happy together."
