Eid Al Adha holidays announced for private sector
Eid Al Adha holidays have been announced for private sector employees in the UAE.
In a post on social media, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) announced that Arafat Day and Eid Al-Adha holidays will begin on Thursday, June 5, and end on Sunday, June 8.
Work will resume on Monday, June 9.

The package follows the recent endorsement of an additional community support subsidy of AED250,000 for existing beneficiaries of housing loans, including a reduction of up to 50 per cent in monthly loan instalments, and a wide range of other services and facilities. It brings the total housing benefits delivered to citizens in Abu Dhabi in 2025 to AED11.38 billion.
