Trains CANCELLED throughout afternoon at Didcot Parkway Station after emergency
This followed an incident today (August 19) during which a man died.
British Transport Police were called to the South Oxfordshire train station at 3pm with officers and paramedics attending.
A spokesperson said: 'We were called to Didcot station shortly after 3pm today, 19 August, following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
'Officers attended along with paramedics but sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.

'The incident is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.'
Before this Great Western Railway had said that services would be disrupted until 5:15pm, although it seems it will go beyond that.

However, currently it is showing trains being delayed and cancelled on the line until the 5:44pm to London Paddington.
The Trainline app is reporting that the 5:58pm to London from Didcot is cancelled, as well as several upcoming trains to Oxford.
Following that, services are expected to return to normal.
The spokesperson for GWR added: "We're working with Network Rail and the emergency services to deal with the incident as sensitively, quickly and safely as possible.
"Some trains will be revised, only completing parts of their normal journeys, and there will also be some cancellations.'

Missing Texas woman found living among lost ‘African' tribe in Scotland
A Texas woman reported missing by her family has been found living among a lost 'African' tribe in a Scottish forest. Texas native Kaura Taylor has been found with the Kingdom of Kubala, a group living in a forest in Jedburgh, about 41 miles south of Edinburgh, that is trying to reclaim land stolen from their ancestors, UK-based media group SWNS reported. The group is led by King Atehene, 36, who was once an opera singer under the name Kofi Offeh, his wife, Queen Nandi, and their handmaiden Taylor, who now goes by Asnat, according to the outlet. 'To the U.K. authorities, obviously I am not missing,' she said in a video message from the group. 'Leave me alone. I am an adult, not a helpless child.' It's unclear when Taylor was reported missing or why her family was unaware of her location. The group said they've been served eviction notices and been targeted in an attack that involved someone setting one of their tents on fire. While they 'don't recognize local laws,' they say they only follow the rules of their God, who is named Yahowah, according to the outlet. Large scene in place on Leeds Road following serious incident
A LARGE cordon has been in place on a major Bradford road this evening, There has been a scene on Leeds Road following a serious incident. Emergency services, including police and paramedics, were in attendance. Crime scene investigation teams were also at the scene, with extensive police cordons in place. The Telegraph & Argus has contacted West Yorkshire Police for a statement, but no official details have yet been released by the force.
