Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and his fiancee Lauren Sanchez are hosting a lavish three-day wedding celebration in Venice and have booked out the Aman Venice, one of most expensive luxury hotels in the Italian city, for their guests. According to details, the Bezos and Sanchez will tie the knot at the Aman Venice, and arrangements have been made at the lavish hotel for the stay of wedding guests. How much does it cost to rent Aman Venice?
Overlooking the mesmerizing Venetian Grand Canal, the Aman Venice is one of the costliest luxury hotels in Venice, with the 'cheapest' room costing a staggering $3200 (about Rs 2,73928 or 2.73 lakh) per night, while rents can go up to a mind-blowing $32000 (over Rs 27 lakhs) for suites and other costlier rooms.
The Jeff Bezos-Lauren Sanchez 'wedding of the century' is expected to cost about €55 million (about Rs 548 crore), and its likely that a major chunk of that budget went towards booking out this lavish 5-star hotel. Aman Venice facilities
Aman Venice has a total of 24 accommodations, including 'regular' rooms, signature rooms, and suites, featuring exclusive artworks by famous Italian artists, including 16th century architect Sansovino and 18th century painter Tiepolo. The hotel and its rooms feature a historical design, and are equipped with every facility one would imagine for the price they command.
The walls have elegant silk covering, and wooden ceiling is adorned with Chinese style paint and exquisite chandeliers.
Additionally, the Aman Venice has a private apartment suite on the fourth floor, its most expensive accommodation, which has private elevator, and can accommodate up to 6 guests. 'Wedding of the century'
Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, the world's fourth-richest man, is set to tie the knot with his fiancee Lauren Sanchez in a extravagant wedding, which was earlier reported be hosted aboard his $500 million Koru Yacht. However, later reports suggested that Koru, which is anchored Italy's historic city of Venice for the occasion, will only be a part of the wedding celebration and not the venue.
According to a Daily Mail report, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez have booked top-of-the-line hotels for their guests in Venice, including the Gritti Palace and Aman Venice, in their entirety from June 26 to June 29, 2025, with rooms at these opulent lodgings starting at $3200 a night and up to $32,000.
The wedding ceremony will be held at the Aman Venice, as per reports.

Delhi Mans Viral Post: Rs 70,000 Is Enough To Live Well In Capital, Sparks Debate
A man in Delhi has sparked an extensive online debate recently after going public with the claim that he and his girlfriend live comfortably in the capital on a total monthly salary of only Rs 70,000. His elaborate expense breakdown on Reddit defies the common perception that much more money is needed to live a life of comfort in a metro city. The man, introducing himself as an independent content strategist, put up a post on the r/personalfinanceindia community with the headline, "I earn less than 50k a month and breathe just fine in Delhi!" He explained that his own income varies below Rs 50,000 in certain months, but with his partner's stable full-time income, they meet household expenses "without much difficulty." The couple's expenditure statement, residing in a 2BHK DDA flat in South Delhi, consists of: Rent : Rs 24,000 : Rs 24,000 Rented Furniture : Rs 5,000 : Rs 5,000 Housekeeping, Cook, Groceries : Rs 20,000 : Rs 20,000 Utilities & Subscriptions : Rs 5,000 : Rs 5,000 Eating Out, Shopping, Discretionary: Rs 10,000 He mentioned their absence of an active holiday budget but was committed to establishing one for domestic travel and surrounding Asian nations in the future. Although they have three pets (one of which is living with them), they pay occasional medical costs as required. Their lifestyle significantly steers away from a car, high-end gadgets, credit cards, EMIs, or loans. "So no, we don't breathe with Rs 7 lakh a month. We do it for Rs. 70,000 instead," the man said, and added a stark observation, "And let me make one thing clear. We are lucky middle class Indians to even be able to do that. I hope the ones making Rs 7 lakh a month, living in Gurgaon realise that too." The post quickly went viral, drawing diverse reactions. Many users lauded the couple's grounded approach and financial discipline, with one commenting, "You are an inspiration. In a country where the median income is about Rs 30,000, I'm always infuriated when people with Rs 30 LPA incomes complain about being poor." However, some offered caution regarding the lack of emergency funds and investments. "Medical emergency funds, investment, contingency funds - you're living paycheck to paycheck. Any single event can topple your life,' a user warned. Others weighed in on financial planning philosophies, inheritance, and the subjective nature of wealth. In spite of the mixed views, there was an overriding feeling of thankfulness brought out by the debate, with users thinking about appreciating little things in life in contrast to continually pursuing more.
