Broncos sign 2 tryout players after rookie minicamp
The Denver Broncos have signed two tryout players following rookie minicamp.
The Broncos brought in four veteran players and 29 rookie tryout players over the weekend. Two of them impressed enough to earn a spot on the 90-man offseason roster.
Denver signed Michigan State inside linebacker Jordan Turner and Utah State wide receiver Kyrese White, according to a report from KUSA-TV's Mike Klis. The Broncos are also bringing back long snapper Zach Triner, so the team will have to make three corresponding moves today to make room for the new additions.
Turner (6-1, 231 pounds) spent four years at Wisconsin before transferring to the Spartans. He totaled 201 tackles, eight sacks, five interceptions, four pass breakups and two forced fumbles in 29 college starts. Turner earned two honorable mention All-Big Ten selections (one at Wisconsin and another at Michigan State).
White (5-10, 185 pounds) spent three years at Utah before transferring to Utah State. He had a breakout season in 2024, totaling 44 receptions for 526 yards and three touchdowns. He also made an impact on special teams with eight kickoff returns for 188 yards and one blocked punt. White ran a 40-yard dash in 4.56 seconds at the Aggies' pro day.
Stay tuned as three more moves are on the way. We will track all of the team's transactions on Broncos Wire.

'Under the weather': Ailing Myles Turner blocks two Chet Holmgren shots on same play

Myles Turner sure didn't play that fourth quarter like he was sick. The Indiana Pacers big man blocked two Chet Holmgren shots on the same play while leading by 6 points in the closing minutes. Turner finished with 9 points and 5 blocks in their 116-107 NBA Finals Game 3 win. Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said postgame that Turner was "under the weather" and may not be with the team Thursday. Indiana leads the best-of-seven series 2-1 and Game 4 is Friday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. "He just hasn't been feeling well the last couple of days," Carlisle said. "It was affecting his wind. He won't bring it up, but I think it's just appropriate to mention that he's working through something." Rick Carlisle:"O Myles Turner não está bem. Talvez nem fique com a gente amanhã. Ele tá com alguma coisa, tipo um resfriado."

Spartans Win Big Ten Recruiting Battle Over Iowa With 3-Star EDGE Cory House

Spartans Win Big Ten Recruiting Battle Over Iowa With 3-Star EDGE Cory House originally appeared on Athlon Sports. After visiting Michigan State on May 30 and Iowa on June 5, the Spartans picked up edge Cory House as their 10th 2026 recruit. The 3-star and No. 68 edge recruit in the country from Memphis, TN, declared his commitment on June 10. Rush ends coach Chad Wilts, who ultimately was credited as the primary recruiter, first gave House an offer back in February. However, the 6'5, 240-pound edge was wanted at 28 schools across the country, including 12 power conference schools. House now marks Michigan State's sixth consecutive defensive addition for the class of 2026 alongside safety Brayden Thomas, cornerback K.J. Deriso, safety Elijah Caldwell-Hardy, linebacker Braylon Hodge, and defensive tackle Chris Knauls. Advertisement Thomas, Deriso, and Hodge were also part of the first group of visitors. Thomas first committed to Iowa State on February 1. On May 31, one day after his official visit, the Ohio native hinted at flipping his decision before verbally committing to Michigan State on June 2. Despite upping the numbers, the Spartans are still pulling together more of a lackluster recruitment class with No. 295 overall Coffman being the only commit in the top 550 overall. Currently Michigan State's recruitment is ranked 44th in the country, falling well behind its Big Ten rivals in the top 20 overall: USC (No. 1), Ohio State (No. 2), Penn State (No. 5), Rutgers (No. 9), Illinois (No. 12), UCLA (No. 14), Minnesota (No. 18), and Washington (No. 20). While the Spartans bumped from No. 57 to No. 44, being on the weaker end of recruitment will force head coach Jonathan Smith to rely on returners making leaps heading into his second year if he's unable to secure high-end recruits. J.K. Dobbins on Broncos: "We're going to do great things this year"

Former Ravens and Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins has officially joined the Broncos. And he's very happy to be in Denver. 'It felt amazing,' Dobbins said regarding the signing of a one-year contract. 'It's a true blessing to me. I'm so happy to be here. We're going to do great things this year.' Why the Broncos? 'I felt like it was the best fit for me,' Dobbins said. 'The defense is really good — like super good. The quarterback is amazing. I like the [running back] room. [The offensive] line is amazing as well. It was a no-brainer — and coach Sean Payton and all the other coaches on staff, too. I know I'll get coached well here. I also heard that it's a good fan base. That's why I'm here.' He also sees a benefit in getting a chance to face the team that complicated his effort to maximize his 2025 compensation with the application of the little-used unrestricted free agent tender. 'I always have a chip on my shoulder, but that was a little weird,' Dobbins said. 'It's a business. It's for my agent to handle. Good luck to [the Chargers]. I'm a Bronco now. They have to see me twice a year. That's my thoughts on it. 'I'm going to have the chip on my shoulder, of course, but I'm here. I'm worried about winning more than just beating — I don't want to just beat the Chargers. I want to go on and I want to get a ring. I've been in the playoffs every year I've played, so I'm tired of losing in them. That's my goal. Bring a Super Bowl to the city and just be a blessing to the community, as well. Dobbins joins a backfield that is headlined by rookie RJ Harvey. Dobbins, if healthy, could end up being the top option.
