Will Smith Under Fire For 'Inappropriate' Moment With Female Singer
is facing backlash over a steamy performance with Spanish singer India Martínez at the Premio Lo Nuestro awards show in Miami on February 20.
The "Men in Black" star was filmed getting close to Martínez as they performed their duet "First Love," sparking criticism from fans who called his behavior "inappropriate."
The interaction left social media users divided, with some calling out Will Smith for crossing the line.
During the performance, Smith and Martínez embraced and, at one point, appeared to share a kiss while he placed his hand on her backside.
Candid backstage photos showed Martínez jumping into Smith's arms and wrapping her legs around his waist, further fueling speculation about their relationship.
"This is the worst," one person commented, while another wrote, "Inappropriate, even if it is entertainment."
Others compared the moment to an awkward karaoke performance, with one user adding, "It's like someone's dad's on karaoke with a drunk local woman."
"How embarrassing," another said.
While many slammed the "French Prince of Bel-Air" actor, others came to his defense.
"Jada better let Will Smith have his fun," one X user wrote as another chimed in, "Jada took a whole BBC during her entanglement, so it's ok for Will to share a small kiss."
A third wrote, "As much as Jada has done, she better hush her mouth and let Will have this."
Smith's bold display comes amid ongoing speculation about his unconventional marriage with . Although the couple revealed in 2023 that they have been separated since 2016, they have never filed for divorce and continue to navigate their relationship in a non-traditional way.
According to PEOPLE, the pair 'are living their own lives but haven't completely severed ties,' with a source adding, 'Call it what you want.'
Another insider claimed that while they 'have had separate homes for years,' they still consider themselves together. Reports suggest that Pinkett Smith has her own house near Smith's in Calabasas, California, as they work on redefining their relationship.
While promoting her 2023 memoir "Worthy," Pinkett Smith opened up about their complicated dynamic, admitting that by 2016, their marriage had left them "exhausted."
"I think we were both kind of just still stuck in our fantasy of what we thought the other person should be," she explained during an interview on "TODAY".
She even described their split as a "divorce," though she clarified that no legal paperwork had been filed. "It was not a divorce on paper. But it was a divorce," she revealed.
Despite their separation, Pinkett Smith previously stated that she intends to live with Will again in the future to "take care of him" as he ages.
One of the turning points in Smith's and Pinkett Smith's relationship came after the infamous 2022 Oscars incident, where Smith slapped comedian on stage.
In the aftermath, she revealed that the event played a role in bringing them closer together.
"We've been doing some really heavy-duty work together. We just got deep love for each other, and we are going to figure out what that looks like for us," she said at the time.
Nearly two years after the infamous 2022 Oscars slap, Smith reportedly still holds a deep grudge against Rock.
The shocking moment led to worldwide backlash and a 10-year ban from the Academy Awards for the "Men in Black" star. While Smith has publicly apologized multiple times, sources claim that behind the scenes, his feelings toward Rock remain bitter.
According to InTouch Weekly, Smith harbors resentment toward Rock, blaming him for derailing his career and tarnishing his reputation.
"Will's getting the last laugh and loving it," an insider told the outlet, suggesting that the actor has been working hard to rebuild his life post-scandal. However, the source added, "Will will never forgive Chris for ruining his life, even though he's managed to pick up the pieces in the last year."
Despite making efforts to move forward professionally, the "King Richard" actor reportedly 'still hates the guy and his smug attitude.'

Woman Labeled 'Pick-Me' for Saying Sister Should Wear 'Sexist' Dress to Rekindle Romance with Husband
A Reddit user is getting hate for supporting her sister's decision to spice up her love life with a revealing dress The sister, Becky, had asked her husband to pick out a dress for her to wear on their next date night — but Becky's friends thought her husband's tastes were "sexist" Becky's sister, on the other hand, figured it wasn't that deep and supported her sister buying the dressA woman is questioning her decision to weigh in on her sister's style. In a post to Reddit's "AITA" forum, a woman recalled a recent shopping trip with her sister Becky and some of their friends. Becky told the group she and her husband were in the "roommate phase," but has been putting in effort to get out of the rut — most recently, she asked her husband to pick out a dress he thought was "sexy," with the intention of her buying it and wearing it to their next date. Becky showed the group the photo her husband sent back, and got a slew of negative reactions. It was a clubbing sort of dress, the woman wrote — a short bodycon number with thin straps, a high slit and a deep neckline. "Like if you Googled 'generic sexy dress,' I bet it would come up," the woman added. The group of friends called her husband's choice "gross and sexist," adding it spoke to his values. Some suggested that Becky's husband thought of her as a "trophy," or that he had a sexist view of women, based on the dress. "I thought this was a huge overreaction. Like ... it's definitely not her style but I didn't think it was THAT bad," the woman said of her sister in the post. "So I told her to just get the dress and stop overthinking it." Just as they condemned the dress, Becky's friends condemned the woman for supporting it. Others in the group called the woman a "pick-me" for not thinking Becky's husband should love her as she is. The woman argued she didn't believe her brother-in-law was trying to change her sister, but the group was adamant. Now, Becky's sister is worried she said the wrong thing — she assumed it was a "support, not solutions" situation, she wrote, but is concerned she approached it incorrectly. Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. Users in the comments widely agreed that the group of friends was overreacting, and the woman wasn't wrong. One argued that the dress was more or less a "fantasy," of which the point "is that it's fantastical." "She didn't ask him, 'How do you want me to dress?' She told him, 'Send me an example of a dress that you find sexy,' " one commenter wrote. "He never asked her to dress like that. She took that challenge upon herself. If she's not up to it, then she shouldn't do it, but that's not his fault or yours." Others noted that Becky's husband's suggestion wasn't unprompted — Becky asked for his opinion. One user said her friends should have supported Becky, who seemed to need a boost of confidence to step into the dress more than anything else. "She said she's trying to save her marriage. It's just a dress — as her friend, I would've hyped her up," another wrote. Read the original article on People

Fact Check: Barron Trump didn't marry Princess Leonor of Spain
Claim: In 2025, Barron Trump married Princess Leonor of Spain in a royal wedding held at a European palace. Rating: In May 2025, a rumor spread across social media claiming that Barron Trump, the youngest son of former U.S. President Donald Trump, had married Princess Leonor of Spain. The story was pushed by several YouTube videos, one of which was titled, "Barron Trump & Princess Leonor's Grand Royal Wedding at a Magnificent Palace," and reached over 146,000 views. The video's description read: Step into a world of elegance and history as we unveil Barron Trump & Princess Leonor's Grand Royal Wedding at a Magnificent Palace. Set in a timeless European palace, this royal ceremony captures the grace, tradition, and grandeur of old-world nobility. From the majestic processional to the heartfelt vows, every moment feels like a scene from a fairytale. Witness the union of American and Spanish heritage in a wedding unlike any other. Similar videos about the alleged wedding of Barron Trump and Princess Leonor appeared in early 2025, including titles such as "Barron Trump & Princess Leonor's Singing - Double Happiness | Royal Wedding at the Royal Palace," "Barron Trump and Princess Leonor's Royal Wedding at the Spanish Royal Palace," and "Barron Trump Marries Princess Leonor – A Royal Love Story Come True." Most of these videos featured sentimental music, portraying the pair singing romantic duets. Similar clips spread on other social media platforms, including TikTok and Facebook. However, none of these videos was based in reality. First, there were no credible news reports or official announcements from either the Spanish royal family or the Trump family confirming any such relationship or marriage between the two individuals. Princess Leonor, born in 2005 and currently heir to the Spanish throne, has been the subject of significant media attention, and any real engagement or marriage would have made news headlines. Additionally, the videos spreading the claim were explicitly labeled AI-generated, and many of the clips used in these videos displayed clear signs of artificial creation, including distorted facial features, unnatural skin textures, and inconsistent lighting or backgrounds. Therefore, we have rated this claim as false. The videos seemed to originate from the Lovely Trump Family YouTube channel (archived), which featured multiple videos with the same narrative (see screenshot below): (YouTube channel Lovely Trump Family) One YouTube video that featured a romantic song and allegedly showed scenes from Barron Trump's wedding reached over 1.8 million views as of this writing. It was captioned: Experience the magical royal wedding as Barron Trump and Princess Leonor of Spain perform a series of heartfelt songs at their grand wedding celebration. With their soulful voices, they sing beautiful ballads like "Our Forever Begins," "A Love Meant to Be," and "Promise of Forever." Each song is a tribute to true love, faith, and the journey of two hearts coming together. Set against the stunning backdrop of a royal palace and a luxurious setting, their emotional performance captures the essence of a fairytale romance. The enchanting lyrics, heartfelt melodies, and the radiant smiles of Barron and Princess Leonor create an unforgettable moment, making this royal wedding a truly magical event. Witness the joy, love, and celebration of two souls united in a grand and elegant ceremony. Like the other videos, it included an "AI Disclaimer" stating, "This video was created using AI technology for entertainment purposes. The voices, visuals, and performances of Barron Trump and Princess Leonor are generated using advanced AI software and do not represent real-life events." Despite this disclaimer, many users in the comments appeared to take the content at face value, praising the supposed couple and reacting as if the wedding had genuinely taken place. Additionally, a Google search for "Barron Trump Princess Leonor wedding" returned no relevant results beyond AI-generated content. ( In addition to disclaimers labeling the videos as AI-generated, the content itself contained numerous visual cues that it was artificially created. These included distorted facial features, unnatural skin textures, and lighting inconsistencies that are common artifacts of AI. For example, in one scene, a car's license plate appeared with jumbled, nonsensical characters that did not resemble any real-world format. In another scene purportedly showing a crowd at the alleged wedding, many of the attendees' faces were blurred, asymmetrical and unnaturally rendered. (YouTube channel Lovely Trump Family) The rumor appears to have originated purely from speculative posts on social media. One of the earliest and most widely shared examples came from an X user in October 2024, who wrote, "Barron Trump and the Princess of Spain Leonor are a match made in heaven. Same age, no previous relationships, good values, good looking and with a powerful family," reaching over 7 million views. The post was not based on any confirmed relationship, interaction or credible report involving the two individuals. Snopes has previously debunked several false claims involving Barron Trump, including a viral rumor that he was rejected by Harvard University and AI-generated videos that falsely portrayed him singing on America's Got Talent.
