How to know if a Dasha is helping or testing you

Time of India11 hours ago

I stand at a crossroads, my future veiled in a swirling nebula. Three paths stretch before me, each shaped by planetary dashas, whispering of different destinies.
Dasha is one of the most powerful tools for understanding the timing of life events. A Dasha is a planetary period—ranging from months to years—when a specific planet becomes the primary influence over your life.
But how can you tell if your current Dasha is supporting you or testing you?
What is a Dasha?
The most common system used is the Vimshottari Dasha, which divides your life into planetary periods based on your Moon Nakshatra (birth star). Each Dasha planet brings its own lessons, opportunities, and challenges.
For example:
Jupiter Dasha (16 years) may bring growth, wisdom, or guidance.
Saturn Dasha (19 years) may bring hard work, discipline, or delays.
Venus Dasha (20 years) may bring love, comfort, or creativity.
Signs that a Dasha Is helping you:
Life moves forward smoothly.
You get support from people, money, or opportunities.
Your mental and emotional state is calm and focused.
Plans progress without excessive resistance.
You feel 'in flow' with your purpose or path.
This usually happens when:
The Dasha planet is well-placed in your birth chart.
It owns or aspects benefic houses (like 1st, 5th, 9th, 10th).

It's in good dignity (exalted or in its own sign).
It's supported by friendly or strong planets.
Signs that a Dasha Is testing you:
Delays, blocks, or repeated failures.
Mental confusion, emotional heaviness.
Unexpected endings or responsibilities.
Health issues or strained relationships.
Feeling stuck or lost without clear reason.
This happens when:
The Dasha planet is weak, afflicted, or malefic.
It's placed in challenging houses (6th, 8th, 12th).
It's conjunct or aspected by Rahu, Ketu, or Saturn in a tough way.
The planet's nature doesn't align with your Lagna (Ascendant).
Tips to Work Through a Tough Dasha:
Accept the lesson. Every Dasha has a purpose.
Perform simple remedies like chanting, charity, or fasting based on the planet.
Maintain consistency—Saturn Dasha especially rewards effort over time.
Trust the cycle. No Dasha is permanent; a new one will bring fresh energy.
Your Dasha is like the current chapter of your life story. Some chapters are smooth and joyful, others are filled with growth through challenge. Understanding which planet is in charge helps you respond wisely, rather than react blindly.

For NEET MDS (postgraduate dental), the registration for state quota seats has begun and will continue until July 3 on the CET Cell's official website. The provisional merit list will be announced on July 4. Students can submit their preferences from July 4 to 6, and the first seat allotment list will be released on July 8. Admission confirmation for this round is scheduled from July 9 to 13. Officials from the state CET Cell said, "Students are encouraged to regularly check the website for timely updates for the remaining courses. As and when we get instructions from the authorities, we will make the announcements. Students should be patient." Rohan Rajguru, a postgraduate management aspirant said, "The annual schedule of exams, results, and admission timetable should be announced in advance to make it convenient for students. Candidates can plan their careers based on these schedules. These days, students are looking at several options within India and abroad, so govt should ensure that students get optimum time to make applications at multiple opportunities by announcing the admission schedule at least one year in advance. After GRs cancellation, teachers wonder what to do with Hindi hours in timetable

Pune: Confusion prevails in state board-affiliated schools after the state govt cancelled both earlier notifications on the introduction of Hindi as a third language in the primary section. The timetable announced on June 18 by State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) is now invalid for the Hindi period. Teachers said they started the academic year two weeks ago, and now need to adjust the timetable again and wait for instructions on how to handle the periods set aside for Hindi. Mahendra Ganpule, former vice-president of State Headmasters' Association, said, "Now that govt has cancelled both GRs, the older timetable in the State Curriculum Framework at the foundational level will have to be used." SCERT announced the revised timetable mid-June for SSC-board affiliated schools to follow throughout the year which adjusted teaching hours across subjects to accommodate the third language from Std I onwards. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 3BHK Transformation Possible for ₹4.5 Lakh? "The revised schedule should go back to the older one where creative and extra-curricular time for students is not cut down," he added. The council, for the first time, provided a sample timetable to help schools plan their academic day. While the sample is not mandatory, the subject-wise allocation of teaching hours must be followed. Unlike NCF's recommendation of 45- to 50-minute periods, the state govt opted for 35-minute sessions. Two consecutive periods may be combined for extended time for certain subjects. Education experts said constant reshuffling was detrimental. ZP teacher Kishore Bhagwat said, "The academic planning for Std I to V is disturbed. Schools are unsure how to guide students and parents, and teachers have to rearrange lessons at the last minute, adding to stress and the workload." A senior SCERT official said experts were revising the timetable. "We will wait for a new govt notification about cancellation of the two GRs. We will then issue the revised timetable." Coimbatore corporation fails to retrive five cents of OSR land at Shanthi Nagar

Coimbatore: The city corporation has failed to retrieve an encroached open space reserve (OSR) land at Shanthi Nagar, Avarampalayam, despite the Madras high court directing the civic body to remove the encroachment within seven days in its order on May 8. Nearly five cents of the OSR land have been encroached upon for the past 40 years. At present, a coffee stall has been operating on the encroached land for nearly a year and a half. It is to be noted that more than 30 cents of OSR land in the same locality were encroached and retrieved by the civic body. While many allocations, including parks and community halls, have been retrieved, about 11 cents allocated for the open space continued to be encroached. According to sources, plots in the layout approved in 1965 was sold to several buyers with illegal documentation. Plot numbers 39 and 40 were also sold, covering 11 cents in total. When the issue was taken to the court in October 2024, it directed the corporation to retrieve the encroached land. While 6.5 cents were handed over the corporation, the commercial tenant of the remaining land appealed to the high court. The court issued an order in favour the corporation on May 8. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 2만원 기부반지 받고 어린이 후원하기 굿네이버스 더 알아보기 Undo Secretary of the Tamil Nadu Reserve Site Protection Committee S P Thiagarajan said, "Last week, the corporation planned for evacuation but dropped it at the last minute.
