Two men injured in fight involving 60 people at Oak Creek restaurant

Yahoo5 days ago
What started as a celebration of life turned into a large fight that left two people injured July 20 at the Route 41 Bar & Grill in Oak Creek.
Just after 5 p.m., the Oak Creek police department was dispatched to the restaurant for a report of a fight involving as many as 60 people. It's unclear how it began.
At the time, Route 41 was scheduled to celebrate the life of Vincent Weinhold, who was stabbed to death in a fight three years ago, along with other events, including a poker run, live music and 50/50 raffle.
Two 32-year-old men were assaulted and left with minor injuries. Both refused to be transported to the hospital and were evaluated at the scene. A 23-year-old man was taken to the hospital because he was highly intoxicated.
When officers arrived on scene, they saw a motorcycle immediately leaving. Franklin police, who were called in to assist, briefly pursed the motorcycle, then ended the pursuit because it was unclear if the motorcyclist was involved in the fight.
The Oak Creek police department is investigating the fight and the Franklin police department is investigating the fleeing motorcycle.
Anyone who witnessed the fight is asked to contact Oak Creek Officer Andrew Glaz at 414-762-8200. Anyone with information about the fleeing motorcycle is asked to contact the Franklin Police Department at 414-425-2522.
Oak Creek police did not announce any arrests. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reached out to the department for more information.
