Taylor Swift will release new album in weeks – with ‘superstar collaboration' as she talks about dropping hints 3yrs ago

Read on to find out what Taylor's boyfriend Travis Kelce had to say about their relationship as he gave his most revealing interview yet THE GREATEST SHOWGIRL Taylor Swift will release new album in weeks – with 'superstar collaboration' as she talks about dropping hints 3yrs ago TAYLOR SWIFT only completed her 149-date Eras Tour last December, by which time it had become the highest-grossing tour of all time. While she was criss-crossing the globe, she recorded and released The Tortured Poets Department, which was the best-selling album of 2024 — but instead of taking a break, she is already making a comeback. Advertisement 12 Taylor Swift sent her fans into meltdown when she announced her 12th studio album Credit: Getty 12 Taylor and Travis attend a friend's wedding last year Credit: The Mega Agency 12 A hint posted in October '24 of Miami Hard Rock Stadium seat section A12 (August 12) Credit: X/@TAYVISNATION 12 In orange on page 12, a date hint, in Eras Tour Book In the early hours of yesterday morning, she sent her fans into meltdown when she announced her 12th studio album will be called The Life Of A Showgirl, and will be released in the coming weeks. And it turns out she has spent years dropping Easter eggs — a term used for secret hints — about the record, including a heavy clue that fellow superstar Sabrina Carpenter has collaborated with her on a song. Taylor confirmed the forthcoming release in a teaser video from a podcast — set to be released at midnight tonight — which was recorded with her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother, fellow American footballer Jason. In the clip from their New Heights podcast, shared alongside the caption 'Posted at 12:12 on the 12th. Tay's 12th album is called . . . ' she said: 'This is my brand new album The Life Of A Showgirl.' Advertisement READ MORE ON TAYLOR SWIFT A.I'M TOO SEXY AI bot reveals most beautiful singer – with Taylor and Dua in the running The album artwork was blurred in the video, but she has updated all of her pages with the colour orange, having started teasing that would be the album's colour theme last year. She is now keeping the cover secret by obscuring it with an orange padlock on her website. Wearing orange outfits Taylor started dropping hints by wearing orange on night 12 of the European leg of her Eras tour, while performing in Lyon, France, last June. In November, she released her Eras Tour Book and was wearing orange on the 12th page. Advertisement Then on Monday, her official management and social media team @taylornation posted 12 images of the star wearing orange outfits from the tour, with the caption: 'Thinking about when she said 'See you next era . . .'.' All I started thinking of was how do I hint at things, how far is too far in advance? Can I hint at something three years in advance? Taylor And the final image notably featured her with Sabrina, from when they performed together in New Orleans last October. Travis Kelce flirts with Taylor Swift on New Heights podcast as music megastar makes major announcement Welcoming her on stage at the time, Taylor pretended to phone the Espresso singer and said: 'Put on some clothes and come down to the stadium.' Fans are now convinced Sabrina referenced that last week when she shared a photo of herself on Instagram with some washing and the caption: 'Go put on some clothes!' Advertisement In yet another Easter egg posted last October, Taylor hinted at the date she would announce the project. A snap shared online saw her standing in Miami's Hard Rock Stadium with a sign for seated section 'A12' visible — which fans believe is a reference to yesterday's date, August 12. Taylor first played a showgirl in her 2022 video for Bejeweled, which also featured burlesque performer Dita von Teese. She had previously suggested she likes to plant clues three years in advance. Advertisement During a 2021 appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, she said: 'All I started thinking of was, how do I hint at things, how far is too far in advance? 'Can I hint at something three years in advance? Can I even plan things out that far? I think I'm going to try to do it.' The new album is set to be a major return to the pop sound of her 2014 record 1989, and 2017's Reputation, both of which were created with hit Swedish producers and songwriters Max Martin and Shellback. Max is renowned for being one of the most successful songwriters ever, having worked on hits including Baby One More Time for Britney Spears, Katy Perry's I Kissed A Girl and Blinding Lights for The Weeknd, as well as Shake It Off, Blank Space and We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together for Taylor. Advertisement Shortly after the announcement yesterday morning, billboards in New York and Nashville took users to a Spotify playlist which featured 22 songs by Taylor, all of which have been made with Max and Shellback. However, fans are yet to be told when they will actually be able to get their hands on the new album. It is available to pre- order through her website, where it states the record will ship before October 13, but adds: 'This is not the release date, official release date to be announced.' Taylor is believed to have completed the record earlier this year, and last month The Sun revealed she had shot a music video in Los Angeles. Advertisement However, she has used a series of non-disclosure agreements for everyone involved in the album in a bid to keep details under wraps. 12 The cover of The Life of a Showgirl is covered with an orange padlock on her website Credit: Reuters 12 Taylor Swift Bejewelled music video hints at the title of her new album Credit: Youtube/@taylorswift 12 Taylor's team hinted at collaboration with Sabrina by posting 12 pics of Taylor in orange including this one Advertisement The record was created in secret and she has not been seen entering or leaving a recording studio since December 2023 — before The Tortured Poets Department was released. Taylor has become one of the most prolific musicians in pop since she released her self-titled debut in 2006. And music forecasters believe The Life Of A Showgirl will easily become the biggest-selling album of 2025 within its first week of release, due to the massive demand for the star. Bookmakers William Hill have already made her 1/3 odds-on favourite to be named International Artist Of The Year at next year's Brit Awards. Advertisement Taylor has sold more than 300million records worldwide, racked up 13 No1s on the UK album chart — overtaking Madonna's record of 12 in February — and has had 30 Top Ten singles, including four No1s. As well as her 11 studio albums released so far, she has put out four re-recorded versions after the rights to her back catalogue were bought against her will in 2019. However, in May she announced she had bought back the rights to her first six albums, ending the long-running legal wrangle. She wrote on her website: 'All of the music I've ever made now belongs to me. I've been bursting into tears of joy . . . ever since I found out this is really happening. 'To say this is my greatest dream come true is actually being pretty reserved about it. I can't thank you enough for helping to reunite me with this art that I've dedicated my life to, but have never owned until now. Advertisement 'I almost stopped thinking it could ever happen, after 20 years of having the carrot dangled and then yanked away. 12 Taylor in orange lippy, in a teaser for Travis's New Heights podcast, posted at 12:12 on the 12th Credit: Instagram 12 Sabrina shared a photo of herself on Instagram with some washing and the caption: 'Go put on some clothes!' Advertisement 'Not that I think my parents dealt with it the wrong way. It's more so, if we're gonna start this and do it, why not try and do it to last forever? Not just in a, 'It's just for the kids' aspect.' Travis, who has been with Taylor for two years, said: 'I hadn't experienced somebody in the same shoes as me, having a partner who understands the scrutiny, understands the ups and downs of being in front of millions. That was very relatable, seeing how exhausted she would get after shows. I sort of made her a football fan. She is the most engulfed fan now Travis 'She may not think of herself as an athlete. She will never tell anyone that she is an athlete. 'But I've seen what she goes through. I've seen the amount of work that she puts on her body, it's mind-blowing.' Advertisement On how impressed he was during Taylor's record-breaking Eras Tour, he continued: 'You're doing a show for three hours with a lot of energy, bringing it every single song. That is arguably more exhausting than how much I put in on a Sunday, and she's doing it three, four, five days in a row. 'She is so good at mesmerising everybody and making everybody feel like it's an intimate situation. She's beautiful. She's up there making everyone feel at ease.' And he is enjoying the perks of being the boyfriend of a superstar singer, as he added: 'I get to be the plus one. I get to go and be that fan. Because I am a fan. And it's so cool that I get to experience her being that plus one for me on the football field. 'I sort of made her a football fan. She is the most engulfed fan now. Advertisement 'She knows what the injury reports look like. She understands what special situations are, third and short – all these things because she just naturally loves to hear about my job.' Travis said: 'Whenever I'm with her, it feels like we're just regular people. 'When there is not a camera on us, we're just two people that are in love. It happened very organically, even though from a media standpoint it was being tracked. We fell in love just based off the people we were sitting in a room together with. 'We are two fun-loving people who have the morals to appreciate everyone for who they are. We share all those values. It kind of just took the f*** off.' Illegal migrant LIVE STREAMS step by step channel crossing & boasts ‘my dream was to come here' from 4 star asylum hotel

AN ILLEGAL migrant boasted on TikTok of crossing the Channel by dinghy, saying: 'Tell your friends to come.' The man racked up nearly a million views with a step-by-step guide to crossing the Channel on a small boat — and then told others to follow him as he revelled in his taxpayer-funded asylum hotel. 7 A migrant posted a step-by-step guide to crossing the Channel on a small boat Credit: Tiktok 7 Alexandra420, pictured above in a life-jacket, smirks in a video from the dinghy 7 The smug migrant shows TikTok fans his view from the window of his asylum hotel Credit: Tiktok 7 He also took part in a live Q&A with his followers Known as Alexandra420, he said his wish had come true and that this was 'the best place' during a TikTok livestream at his free accommodation near Heathrow. His taunts come as figures reveal 50,271 people have crossed in a small boat since Labour and Sir Keir Starmer took office last year. Last night Reform leader Nigel Farage MP told The Sun: 'This is yet another total humiliation for our country. "The Prime Minister's soft-touch approach and refusal to address the root cause of illegal Channel crossings has turned the UK into a global laughing stock.' READ MORE ON ILLEGAL MIGRANTS SEA CHANGE How Med island once swamped by illegal migrants has seen arrivals shrink to ZERO TikTok influencer Alexandra, who has 70,000 followers, left Calais in a dinghy at around 4am on Saturday. His first video was a 13-second clip from the middle of the Channel, showing a French lifeboat alongside his dinghy, which was full of fellow migrants. The next clip showed him grinning in an orange life jacket and pointing to the sky. A third video, bizarrely set to the theme tune of US TV drama Prison Break, showed the vessel surrounded by massive freight ships, while in a fourth he dipped his designer trainers in the water. He was one of 435 arrivals on Saturday, and was taken in by Border Force officials to be processed at Manston, Kent. He was then bussed to the four-star Crowne Plaza hotel in West Drayton, near Heathrow. The migrant, thought to be from Afghanistan, treats TikTok viewers to a tour of his room, which had two single beds and a double plus an en-suite bathroom. He also shows them the view from his window. Small boat crossings under Labour are on brink of hitting 50,000 - one illegal migrant every 11 mins since the election Triumphing in his good fortune, he said: 'This is dedicated to those haters who were happy thinking we either drowned or ended up dead.' In a later livestream he claimed their boat began to deflate halfway through the crossing and could have capsized if Border Force officials had not rescued them. He said: 'It was dangerous. Our boat sank. It was punctured. The water came from the inside of the boat. "On the other side, three people pumped the water. If the British boats hadn't come in an hour, we would have been in trouble.' Those who want to come, this is the best place TikTok influencer Alexandra He then encouraged others to pay thousands to people-smugglers to make the same perilous journey. He ranted: 'I risked my life, I spent my money, I came. Your country is not your mother. "Those who want to come, this is the best place. Don't be stingy. Your country is not your father, that you are so stingy. Live your life. 'Tell your four friends to come. Why are you so stingy? Being stingy is not good for God. You see, I risked my life! Why don't you come? My wish was to come to this hotel and live. I came here just for this.' 7 Fellow illegal migrants can be seen in the boat in another clip 7 The migrant's room has two single beds, a double and an en-suite Credit: Tiktok He also revealed how he beat warnings of deportation, claiming he had been told by UK officials: 'If I send you to France, you won't have any problem.' But he replied: 'I will commit suicide.' He went on: 'I just said it, and he got angry. I told them, and right there, I swore an oath.' Spinning on his chair with his arms in the air, he then shouted: 'Welcome to London!' It's disgraceful that illegal immigrants are saying it's their dream to be put up in a hotel Chris Philp In total, the migrant posted eight videos before taking part in a live Q&A with his followers in the Afghan dialect Pashto. His viewers appeared to include other asylum seekers in different hotels across the country. One told the host, who flashed his purple room key card, that the Crowne Plaza was 'a nice place'. The videos had a combined 870,000 views before being taken down during a second livestream when The Sun alerted TikTok. 7 The Heathrow Crowne Plaza has been housing migrants for more than four years, and has an 8ft security fence Credit: Dan Charity Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp blasted: 'It is disgraceful that illegal immigrants are saying it is their dream to be put up in a hotel, all paid for by the British taxpayer. 'This is a sick joke. Anyone coming to the UK illegally must be swiftly deported.' Dozens of migrants have made social media posts celebrating their arrival in the UK. The Heathrow Crowne Plaza used to cost guests £120 a night — but has been housing migrants for more than four years, and has an 8ft security fence. Facilities include a luxury swimming pool with steam room and sauna, gym, an Irish bar, two large restaurants and a theatre. More illegal arrivals were brought in on packed buses yesterday alongside vans delivering food. One Afghan man told The Sun: 'I came to Britain a few days ago on a boat from France. This hotel is nice and we get fed and given clothes. Life is nice here so far.' A TikTok spokeswoman said it has a zero-tolerance approach to content promoting people-smuggling. A Home Office spokeswoman said it is unacceptable 'to promote the criminal services of people-traffickers or for social media companies to allow it'. Laws are being brought in to make it easier to prosecute, she added.
