KELLY Clarkson's late ex-husband Brandon Blackstock was in a loving relationship with the singer's former assistant, his obituary revealed.
It comes after Blackstock tragically died on August 7 at age 48 after a long battle with melanoma.

Blackstock was married to Clarkson from 2013 to 2020 and had a daughter and son with the singer.
His obituary, released on Tuesday, revealed that was in a relationship with Brittney Marie Jones and that the couple were living together in Montana.
"After more than 20 years in the music business, Brandon found his way back to the mountains and the cowboy way of life he always wanted to live," the obituary read.
"He found a homestead and a love in Butte, Montana."

It continued: "Brandon, along with his beautiful and loving partner in life and business, Brittney Marie Jones, started building a life, building companies, and working tirelessly to create Headwaters Livestock Auction and what will live on as his legacy, The Valley View Rodeo in Bozeman, Montana."
The U.S. Sun previously revealed Brandon ran Valley View Rodeo with Brittney, Kelly Clarkson's former assistant.
The rodeo is described online as a multi-faceted organisation dedicated to keeping the Western lifestyle alive in the modern day.
"From heart-stopping bull riding to lightning-fast barrel racing, Valley View Rodeo showcases the best of both amateur and professional talent," the website reads.

Katie Price reveals boyfriend JJ Slater got ‘hair transplant' in Turkey after initially being denied surgery
KATIE Price has revealed that her Married at First Sight boyfriend has undergone a hair transplant after pulling out of surgery previously. But now Katie has revealed JJ found a way around having a hair transplant in Turkey after being previously refused. On Wednesday, Katie filmed her beau and shared the video on Snapchat as he underwent a Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP). Katie explained how the pair just "turned up" at the surgery. She also claimed they went along to the clinic "not knowing JJ was going to get this done" or fully understanding what exactly the procedure might be. With JJ in the chair, about to undergo the procedure, Katie said: "JJ is now here because he couldn't get a hair transplant or operation... "You don't like having your blood taken? Aw look at him." She went on: "So what they are going to do because of his diabetes they take his blood and then they spin it with medication and then they inject it into the head to get follicles. "We've just turned up we didn't even know he was going to get this done. "He wants to get these bits all done [around his forehead].
