10 Summer Mini Dresses And The Flat Shoes To Pair Them With, From Flip Flops To Sneakerinas
This season's mini dresses come in every mood, with nighties, shift and pleat skirt shirt dresses leading the way. But while the dress may be the star of the show, the right pair of flat shoes can completely transform the vibe - flip flops can emphasise chill factor, trainers practicality and knee-high boots make everything a bit more professional.
This summer, stylish flat summer shoe styles are aplenty: jelly shoes, boat shoes and sneakerinas are proving themselves practical and directional. A good pair of summer flats are the unsung heroes of summer wardrobes, offering the kind of versatility and comfort that high temperatures (and long days) demand.
Whether you're going for effortlessly cool, polished and pretty, or just want to survive a day of walking in comfort and style, we've rounded up 9 summer mini dresses and paired each with the perfect flat shoe. Think of it as your warm-weather outfit formula cheat sheet.
Add colourful accessories, like a yellow sunhat or charm-laden anklet, to this beach-ready pairing of cotton mini and flip flops.
Heading out out but aren't one for heels? Aeyde's metallic strappy sandals are the answer to your conundrum. Paired with Marlies Grace's cotton mini and you'll be the best dressed girl at the soirée, and the comfiest.
If you're looking for a 'Euro Summer' 'fit that will take you 20k steps in the Mediterranean heat then look no further than the Speedcat Ballet (Dua Lipa's favourites) with If Only If's barely-there nightie.
When the temperature is in the low 20s, mix up your styling by swapping in autumn boots with your favourite summer mini dress. It's giving Swinging Sixties.
An outfit for that well-earned annual leave if we ever did see one, cotton dresses in bold hues are a match made in heaven with earthy espadrilles.
Technically a romper, Peachy Den's embroidered mini is all kinds of nostalgic, particularly if you add a pair of childlike jelly sandals - an ensemble for the beach for sure.
Skinny trainers are the silhouette of the season, and gingham the print. Put them together are you have a summer hit.
Miu Miu said preppy style was back and who are we to not oblige? Shirt dresses are a great warm weather work dressing hack and Gimaguas' pleated skirt iteration feels fresh.
When humidity hits, we know less is most certainly more. That's why we suggest pairing With Nothing Underneath's linen mini with some mesh flats.

Benson Boone Joins Dua Lipa In A Historic Feat
Benson Boone's 'Beautiful Things' ties Dua Lipa's 'Levitating' with 77 weeks on the Hot 100, as ... More Teddy Swims' 'Lose Control' becomes the first track to hit 100 weeks. Benson Boone at the 2025 Governors Ball Music Festival held at Flushing Meadows Corona Park on June 06, 2025 in New York, New York. (Photo by Nina Westervelt/Billboard via Getty Images) A month into its run on the Billboard charts, Benson Boone's sophomore album American Heart continues its gentle descent. In its fourth frame on the Billboard 200, the project slides from No. 21 to No. 27. Two singles from the full-length — 'Mystical Magical' and 'Sorry, I'm Here for Someone Else' — also experience modest dips on the Hot 100, though both remain inside the top 40. Boone's biggest hit at the moment, is, as has been the case for months, 'Beautiful Things.' The track that turned the singer into a superstar in early 2024 continues to make history with every frame it holds on. 'Beautiful Things' Ties Dua Lipa's 'Levitating' 'Beautiful Things' has now lived on the Hot 100 for 77 frames. In just one more week, it will become one of only a handful of songs to spend a year and a half on Billboard's ranking of the most popular tracks in the United States. 'Beautiful Things' is now tied with 'Levitating' by Dua Lipa as the third-longest-charting track by a solo musician in American history. Lipa's catchy pop cut spent about half of its time on the tally as a solo effort, while the rest of its weeks included rapper DaBaby. His credit was later removed after fans and radio stations changed their favor to the solo version. Teddy Swims Sets a New Record With 'Lose Control' 'Lose Control' by Teddy Swims still stands the longest-running hit of all time, and this week marks a particularly special milestone for the soulful cut. The Grammy nominee's breakout hit becomes the first song ever to reach 100 weeks on the Hot 100. That figure puts the track well ahead of every other tune, and it's likely to continue building on that total. The Weeknd's 'Blinding Lights' tallied 90 stays on the roster, placing it in second among all compositions by solo artists. Benson Boone Passes Jason Mraz Last frame, Boone matched Jason Mraz, whose single 'I'm Yours' spent 76 weeks on the Hot 100 between 2008 and 2009. That tune now ranks as the fifth-longest-charting track by a solo act in U.S. history, just behind Boone and Lipa. Several other songs credited to groups have also managed slightly longer stays on the Hot 100 compared to 'Beautiful Things.' 'Heat Waves' by Glass Animals, 'Radioactive' by Imagine Dragons, and 'Sail' by Awolnation held on for 91, 87, and 79 weeks, respectively. In the coming weeks, Boone could match and then pass Awolnation, though he still has a long journey ahead if he hopes to best the runs managed by Imagine Dragons or The Weeknd.

Kylie Jenner and Stormi Webster Have a Subtle Take on Mother-Daughter Dressing
Kylie Jenner and Stormi Webster have returned from their tour of the Mediterranean. In a rare moment across summer when the Kardashian-Jenner family aren't pinballing around Europe, the family came together to celebrate the 91st birthday of grandmother Mary-Jo Campbell. Kylie and Stormi stepped out in their summeriest, and more subtle, articulation of mother-daughter style. The duo were spotted arriving to The Ivy in Los Angeles yesterday (July 26). Kylie opted for a one-and-done, black-and-white gingham Miu Miu tank dress, with a pair of small black sunglasses, Manolo Blahnik leather Paterno sandals, and a small black leather handbag, accessorizing simply with a Cartier Panthere diamond watch. She wore her almost waist-length dark brown hair long and relaxed. Photo: Backgrid Seven-year-old Stormi, hand-in-hand with mom, wore a white denim jean jacket with a little popped collar and a matching denim skirt with silver cross embroidery, and swung a white and silver studded handbag with the same cross pattern. On her feet, some black sneakers. It's been a fun, frolicking summer for Kylie Jenner and Stormi, first hitting up Venice—as the Kylie Cosmetics founder attended the lavish wedding of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos—with three-year-old Aire in tow. Across the last few weeks, they've enjoyed time in Tuscany and boating around Greek islands. The duo even dropped their first 'get ready with me' beauty tutorial on TikTok. Kylie and Stormi joined Kris Jenner and Mary-Jo Campbell, as well as Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, for The Ivy-set celebrations.
