Here's when Motorola's Swarovski-clad Razr is launching

GSM Arena3 days ago
A few days ago we heard that Motorola would be launching a Swarovski crystal-clad Razr, and today the brand has confirmed this and revealed its official launch date: August 5.
As you can see, the official teaser only mentions "something brilliant" coming, and promises that its iconic device will get "an extra sparkly makeover".

We assume no specs will change, but of course that remains to be seen as the brand has yet to confirm any internals. Perhaps the teaser campaign will continue in the coming weeks, revealing more details. If so, we'll let you know what to expect.
While the new Razrs are barely a few months old, Motorola may want to make sure they step back into the spotlight as we get into the fall smartphone launch season, which will be started off by Google allegedly announcing the Pixel 10 family on August 20.

Google Pixel Watch 4 may skip the price hike many were expecting

Leaked CAD render of the Pixel Watch 4 . | Image credit — @Onleaks/@91Mobiles We're inching closer to the official reveal of the Pixel Watch 4, and a new report may offer some welcome news for potential buyers. According to a leak from Dealabs, Google appears set to maintain last year's pricing structure for its upcoming smartwatch in the European market, potentially signaling a similar move for the the report is accurate, the 41mm Pixel Watch 4 with Wi-Fi will be priced at €399, while the LTE model will cost €499. The larger 45mm variant is said to come in at €449 for Wi-Fi and €549 for LTE. These prices align exactly with what we saw for the Pixel Watch 3 in Europe. While there's no confirmation yet on US pricing, history suggests parity. Last year's Pixel Watch 3 started at $349 for the 41mm Wi-Fi model, going up to $399 for LTE. The 45mm model was $399 for Wi-Fi and $449 for LTE. With minimal hardware changes this year, it would not be surprising if Google decided to keep prices unchanged. Leaked CAD render of the Pixel Watch 4. | Image credit — @Onleaks/@91Mobiles Rumors suggest the Pixel Watch 4 will retain the same Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 processor used in the previous generation. This suggests that the internal upgrades are more modest than transformative. However, leaked specs suggest larger battery capacities, potentially faster charging, and a new co-processor designed to help with AI-powered tasks. One practical improvement may come in the form of better repairability. While Google has not officially confirmed this, reports hint at a slightly more modular design. Safety also appears to be a theme, with possible additions like Breathing Emergency alerts and support for satellite-based connectivity in case of poor network there are lingering questions about external factors that could impact final pricing. Some Pixel devices are still assembled in China, and recent shifts in US trade policy could introduce tariffs or added costs for Google. While this remains speculative, it is something to watch ahead of the official launch. Google is expected to announce the Pixel Watch 4 at its Made by Google event on August 20. Until then, the pricing leak at least offers some reassurance for fans hoping that Google's next wearable won't carry a steeper price tag. I think keeping prices steady in a year of modest upgrades could be a smart move. It signals stability while giving Google time to prepare for a more substantial update in future models. Still, whether that's enough to compete with Samsung's Watch 8 or Apple's expected Series 10 redesign remains to be seen.

Popular Android feature now takes you to your Song Search history

When you long-press the navigational handle, the Circle to Search bar appears. Tap the musical note icon in the bar and you will see something new on the display. In the top right you'll see an icon that looks like a clock with an arrow wrapped around it. It is the "history" icon. Tap on it and you will be taken to a page that says "Recent song searches" on top. It starts by showing you songs you've searched for this month. Each tune will show cover art, the name of the song, the artist's name, and the day and time you searched for the song. Scroll down to see your song search history for previous months. Tap on a song and you will see Google Search results for the song giving you the option of seeing an overview or the song's lyrics. 10 songs are shown by month; if you need or want to see more, before you tap on a song's name on the "Recent song searches" page, on the bottom is a button that says, "show full history." Press it to see all of the songs you've searched for. This feature was added to iOS last February. Open the Google app, tap the microphone icon and then click on the "Search a song" button that appears. In the upper right will be that "history" icon that looks like a clock with an arrow wrapped around it. Tap on that to see your Recent Song Searches broken down by months. As with the Android version that uses Circle to Search, tap on a song to see a Google Search result for that title. Actually, the directions above that reveal how to access this information using the Google app on your iPhone also work with the Google app on Android. So whether you use Circle to Search on Android or the Google app on Android or iOS to access your Song Search history, check it out to get a blast from your recent past.
