Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath's final show: Here's how to stream
The concert, dubbed "Back to the Beginning," is set to take place Saturday, July 10, at Villa Park – home of Aston Villa Football Club – in Birmingham, England.
Osbourne will perform, then he will join Black Sabbath for a set featuring the original four members who formed a band in 1967 – guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler, drummer Bill Ward and Osbourne – performing together for the first time since 2005. (During Black Sabbath's "The End" tour, which ended in February 2017 in Birmingham, drummer Tommy Clufetos joined the other three in place of Ward.)
Black Sabbath and Osbourne are the headliners on a day of music featuring a who's who in hard rock.
Also on the bill: Metallica, Guns 'N Roses, Slayer and several other bands. There's also a slew of other big-name artists who will likely team up in various configurations; among them are Sammy Hagar, Smashing Pumpkins co-founder Billy Corgan, Jake E. Lee, the one-time guitarist for Osbourne who has recovered from a shooting in October 2024, and Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave), who is the event's music director.
"This will be the greatest heavy metal show ever," Morello said in a Feb. 5 press release announcing the event.
Osbourne wanted to do one more show to say a proper "goodbye" to friends and fans, Sharon Osbourne, Ozzy Osbourne's wife, told BBC back in February.
After his wife proposed the idea of Ozzy playing a final gig at Villa Park in Birmingham, an industrial city about 120 miles northwest of London and the birthplace of the original Sabbath members, "I called Geezer, Tony and Bill to see if they wanted to come up to do some songs and thankfully, they did," Osbourne told Mojo magazine.
Osbourne may perform seated on a throne, Iommi told Mojo. That's not unprecedented stagecraft.
Guns 'N Roses frontman Axl Rose used a throne for several shows in 2016, including at Coachella after he suffered a broken foot. He borrowed the throne from Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters who debuted it at the band's 20th anniversary show in 2015 in Washington, D.C. to allow him to perform despite a broken leg.
Since Osbourne's last full concert – OzzFest in Los Angeles on New Year's Eve 2018 – he has faced several medical challenges including a fall and being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2019.
In 2023, Osbourne cancelled U.K. and European tour dates and a planned performance at the Power Trip festival because of his physical weakness. "Unfortunately, my body is telling me that I'm just not ready yet," he said at the time. In May 2024, Osbourne said he was undergoing stem cell treatments after doctors discovered a tumor on his vertebrae.
A livestream of the daylong event was announced in June. While it's called a livestream, the video will be delayed two hours from the in-arena start time. Those who stream the event will be able to start watching at 10 a.m. ET/7 a.m. PT.

There's also an online auction benefiting those charities. Items up for bid include two Gibson guitars signed by performers, a Guns 'N Roses pinball machine, several gold record and CD displays including Black Sabbath's "Paranoid," Led Zeppelin's "Physical Graffiti" and Metallica's "Master of Puppets," plus a dozen-plus travel packages including seven nights at Royal Westmoreland, Barbados.
Bands scheduled to perform include Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Slayer, Tool, Pantera, Gojira, Halestorm, Alice In Chains, Lamb Of God, Anthrax, Mastodon and Rival Sons.

Stellan Skarsgård Took Pay Cut For Crew To Get Lunch
Stellan Skarsgård is opening up about accepting a lower salary on the set of his new movie, Sentimental Value. As well as taking a pay cut, Stellan said he became an executive producer because he wanted to ensure that the crew received good lunches on set. 'I wasn't supposed to be [an executive producer] at first, but I said I'd never film in Norway without having a special contract,' he explained at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival, per Variety. Stellan then claimed that after a negative experience shooting Erik Skjoldbjærg's Insomnia (1997), he vowed never to film in Norway again unless good lunches were provided. 'I lost eight kilos on Insomnia. We would usually get a loaf of bread, that's pre-sliced, and a plastic salami. That's it!' Stellan claimed. 'I've made other films in Norway since then, but it has always said in my contract that everybody should get lunches of the highest European standard. And that's expensive. Norway, they're the richest country, but they don't want to spend money on food.' 'I went down, I think, half a million kroner in my salary to pay for this, for the food for everybody,' he continued. 'And the producer said, 'You'll get credit for that.' Also, the food has to be served on real china – no plastic, paper bags or whatever. And you're not standing in line, you sit down and eat. It makes everybody happier and makes the film much better. I haven't made one bad film in Norway since.' Stellan isn't the only actor who has accepted a pay cut for the benefit of others. Will Smith, for example, paid the King Richard cast bonuses out of his own pocket in 2021 after WarnerMedia chose to release the film on streaming services and in theaters simultaneously, resulting in a loss of theatrical returns. Keanu Reeves once reportedly gave the visual effects crew of The Matrix a 'very hefty bonus' to ensure that they were fairly compensated for their hard work. Back in 2017, it was reported that the original five stars of The Big Bang Theory — Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Kunal Nayyar, and Simon Helberg — all agreed to $100,000 per episode pay cuts to allow their costars Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch to receive higher salaries. Meanwhile, the screenwriters behind Deadpool (Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick) once claimed that Ryan Reynolds paid for them to be on set during filming because the studio refused to. Club World Cup Winners Stunned Over Sharing Stage With President Trump
The FIFA Club World Cup, founded in 2000, held its latest competition on American soil with Chelsea F.C. defeating Paris Saint-Germain F.C. 3-0 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. President Donald Trump was in attendance and met with both cheers and a chorus of jeers, with Chelsea players baffled that Trump hung out with the winners onstage, along with reportedly keeping a trophy for himself. The FIFA Club World Cup concluded on Sunday (July 13) with Chelsea sending shockwaves throughout the global football world by defeating the European champions in PSG. As Chelsea players celebrated the massive upset win, President Trump, alongside FIFA President Gianni Infantino, handed over the Club World Cup trophy to the winners and was visibly instructed to step aside. Trump refused to do so, much to the confusion of the stars. 'I knew he was going to be here but I didn't know he was going to be on the stand when we lifted the trophy,' Cole Palmer said to PA Media in a post-match interview. Chelsea captain Reece James added, 'They told me that he was going to present the trophy and then exit the stage, and I thought that he was going to exit the stage, but he wanted to stay.' James also said he spoke with Trump but couldn't make out what he was saying fully due to the noise in the arena. 'To be honest it was quite loud. I couldn't hear too much. He just congratulated me and the team for lifting the trophy and told us to enjoy the moment,' James politely stated. It was perhaps not the reception the American president expected, what with boos raining down from the 81,000 in attendance. It wasn't all negative, as some fans stood and cheered for Trump. In another bizarre turn of events, Trump elected to keep the FIFA Club World Cup trophy for himself, with Chelsea receiving a replica. Cole Palmer did receive the Gold Ball for his exploits on the pitch. No word yet if Trump had one given to him by FIFA as well. The Chelsea club won an estimated $114 million in prize money.
