Actor and presenter David Tennant took to the airwaves to host a new edition of Genius Game.
The former Doctor Who star once again guided players with exceptional abilities through a series of mind-binding tasks.
In order to be successful in the format, the group of contestants initially need to work together.
However, only one player will eventually go on to win the show as players are eliminated each episode.
One of the genius players in the format is 37-year-old entrepreneur Rebecca, known as 'Bex' from Huddersfield.
But an ITV viewer wrote to the commercial network as they spotted the contributor on another show.
Taking to X - formerly known as Twitter - they claimed: "Bex from #geniusgame popping up on daytime tv quiz shows."
The fan then shared a screenshot of their own television with a different image of Bex on the screen.
However, this time she was pictured in an appearing on the BBC One show, The Finish Line, hosted by Roman Kemp and Sarah Greene.
Another user stated: "Thought I recognised Bex."
ITV viewers switch off David Tennant's new gameshow after 10 minutes as they say it's 'too complicated' to understand
As someone else commented: "Watching #FinishLine and Bex from #GeniusGame has had a shocker and out early."
While a fourth added: "I see Bex from ITV's #GeniusGame (yes I am still watching it but only for DT!) is a bit of a sneaky gamer. Now appearing on #TheFinishLine But... which came first!?!"
But, the contestant herself appeared to clap back as an account with her name and likeness wrote: "Dying. Filmed that so long ago."
As the star appeared on both BBC One and ITV1 on the same day, viewers of Genius Game took to social media as they lavished praise on the new TV star.
Another user gushed: "Ohhhh I've actually been enjoying Bex."
As a fifth viewer pondered: "What are the odd's there's a final episode reveal of Bex being the season's mastermind all along?"
And a sixth added: "Can't decide if Bex is the obvious weak link or lowkey the smartest one in there."

Loose Women CANCELLED as ITV panel bid farewell to viewers ahead of schedule shake-up set to leave fans livid

Friday's instalment of Loose Women has been cancelled in a schedule shake-up. Kaye Adams, 62, revealed the news at the end of Thursday's episode of the ITV show. Loose Women usually airs Monday to Friday from 12:30pm on ITV1. But at 1pm tomorrow (6 June 2025), ITV will air the racing, so viewers will enjoy the first Derby meeting from Epsom. After Kaye's co-stars Frankie Bridge, 36, Nadia Sawalha, 60, and Kelly Brook, 45, showed viewers how they sleep at night, Kaye said: 'Well thank God I'm going! That's it for today and this week sadly. 'We're off tomorrow for the racing. 'We've got a great line-up next week though, including Cheshire housewife Tanya Bardsley, 44, Atomic Kitten's Liz, 44. 'She shares a very personal health story. Plus Si King, 58, and Alison Hammond, 50, are here too. 'We will see you Monday. Have a great weekend!' Loose Women has been hitting headlines recently after it was revealed the chat show, along with Lorraine, has been axed for half the year. ITV announced the big shake up to its daytime schedule amid huge cuts last month. Loose Women will only air for 30 weeks of the year. Plus MailOnline recently revealed that ITV will axe a vital part of the show which viewers love in a desperate bid to save money. The series is scrapping their live studio audience when the programme airs with a reduced schedule of just 30 episodes next year. Bosses have got rid of the studio audience to save costs, with insiders revealing that it's an expensive feature due to being managed by an external company, who also provides security and a warmup person, but for the presenters, it's going to be a 'disaster.' A TV source told MailOnline: 'The panelists are really upset over the decision to axe the live studio audience from the show. 'It's what sets the series apart from the rest of ITV daytime and now there are massive fears that viewers will switch off completely. 'The only concern now is to cut costs and having a live studio audience can be expensive, with the added need for security and a warmup artist. 'Presenters already know how it feels to broadcast the show without an audience because that's what happened during the pandemic, and they all know it creates low mood and lack of atmosphere.' Meanwhile Kaye Adams has broken her silence on the brutal ITV cuts. She admitted that she's suffered 'sleepless nights' after her 'life imploded' and 'has no idea what's going to happen.' She told her How To Be 60 podcast co-host Karen MacKenzie: 'To be perfectly honest, we have no idea at this point, what's going to happen. 'I didn't anticipate it, which is probably stupid in retrospect. You get into a sort of rhythm of life. 'I had a couple of sleepless nights I have to say, because it's just like the rug's been pulled from under your feet – what has been familiar.' She continued: 'It's going to have an impact. Lots of people will lose their jobs completely which is terrible. It's a huge change.' Loose Women airs weekdays on ITV1 from 12:30pm and is available to stream on ITVX.

Orlando Bloom wants to ‘get the band back together' for Pirates Of The Caribbean

The 48-year-old, who plays Will Turner in the Disney film franchise, told ITV's This Morning there is a chance the cast could reunite for a new instalment. Asked if more Pirates Of The Caribbean features are possible, he said: 'Well, I don't know, I can't say anything at the moment because I really don't know, but there's definitely availability. 'I think they're trying to work out what it would all look like, I personally think it'd be great to get the band back together, that would be great, but there are always different ideas, and so we'll see where it lands.' Bloom also spoke about his latest film Deep Cover, which will be released on June 12, saying he took inspiration from Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher when constructing his character. A post shared by This Morning (@thismorning) The Kent-born actor said: 'When I read in the script that (his character) was a northern I was like, 'who's the iconic northerner that I know?'. 'Growing up I went to Knebworth and seeing Liam and the boys, the whole band, but Liam, he's just got that swag, hasn't he? 'I thought if I can get even close to that, I'd have a lot of fun trying, and it sort of lent itself, and I kind of imagined that (he) was sort of this desperate, out of work actor, maybe he worked at like a costume house or something. 'So he'd get really into the costume and what he was wearing, and the Liam look and everything, so it was a really great way into the character, and I had a lot of fun with it.' The Pirates Of The Caribbean series has seen five feature films: The Curse Of The Black Pearl (2003); Dead Man's Chest (2006); At World's End (2007); On Stranger Tides (2011); and Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017); along with the short film Pirates Of The Caribbean: Tales Of The Code: Wedlocked (2011). The series is based on the Disneyland attraction of the same name, and follows the adventures of Captain Jack Sparrow, played by Johnny Depp. It has also spawned a number of video games.

Coronation Street legend ‘confirms' Emmerdale crossover role

Jack P Shepherd who has played the iconic character of mischievous David Platt since 2000 has teased he could be taking part in the Corrie and Emmerdale special. The Celebrity Big Brother winner appears to be the first soap star to "confirm" their involvement in the one-hour segment, announced by ITV last month. When catching up with Digital Spy at the British Soap Awards recently, Jack let slip the exciting news on the red carpet. When the actor was asked if he will be involved in the 'unprecedented' episode, which will see characters from both soaps come together in a celebration of the soap genre, he 'confidently' replied: "Yes!" But Jack's Weatherfield co-star Ben Price (David's brother Nick Tilsley), interrupted: "Are you meant to say that?" Jack responded: "I don't know!" Ben then advised his on-screen sibling not to give any details away, to which Jack continued: "I don't know if I am. Not for a fact, I don't. 'The big key hitters, I think they might have been told. There's rumours – and I'm sniffing that I might be in the periphery." He then joked: "With my Yorkshire accent. I think I'm in it, talking Yorkshire and they're like: 'Where are you from? Are you from Bradford?'" Jack's soap tease might be the news some viewers have been wanting for, as one posted on X: "corrie and emmerdale crossover episode. I need david platt & ross barton , charity & tracy , mandy & carla oh the possibilities." The "mash-up" of two of the nation's most beloved soaps is set to air on ITV next year and will be the first of its kind in British soap history. It will mark the broadcaster's new 'power hour' of soap which begins on ITV1 and STV in January 2026. ITV said the producers, scriptwriters and production teams have 'conceived an ingenious way of linking the two universes, but with characters then returning to the soaps they are renowned for inhabiting in Manchester and Yorkshire'. This month, Corrie and Emmerdale fans will be given the chance to vote for two characters (one from each soap) that they would like to see interact in a scene. Details will be launched in June via Coronation Street and Emmerdale's Instagram, Facebook and TikTok accounts, so keep an eye out if you want to get involved.
