Popular Front for Liberation of Palestine: U.S. Veto confirms direct complicity in Gaza Genocide

Saba Yemena day ago

Gaza – SABA:
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) strongly condemned the U.S. administration's use of the veto at the United Nations Security Council on Wednesday, which blocked a draft resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the PFLP described this move as a brazen continuation of the U.S. role in covering up the ongoing genocide committed by the Zionist enemy against the Palestinian people.
The statement read:
'It is not surprising that the U.S. administration would take such a position. It is directly participating in the aggression on Gaza by supplying the Zionist enemy with the most lethal internationally banned weapons, while granting it political and legal cover to continue its dirty war against our defenseless people.'
The PFLP emphasized that the U.S. veto represents a deliberate insistence by the U.S. administration on direct involvement in the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, making it morally and legally responsible for the massacres and genocide being committed—particularly against children, women, civilians, and the displaced.
The group further stated that the American veto is another chapter in the historical hostility of successive U.S. administrations toward the Palestinian people. It exposes the deep moral hypocrisy in American policy, which justifies the crimes of the Zionist enemy and gives it a green light to continue the slaughter.
The PFLP held the U.S. fully responsible for this decision and called on freedom-loving people within the United States to stand against these criminal policies and to continue efforts aimed at ending the U.S. complicity with the Zionist entity in the atrocities being committed against the Palestinian people.

Jihad says aggression on southern suburb of Beirut blatant assault with blatant American cover

Gaza – Saba: The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine has condemned the Israeli aggression on the southern suburb of Beirut on the eve of Eid al-Adha. In a press statement, Jihad said "The treacherous Zionist aggression that targeted residential areas in the southern suburbs of Beirut and areas in southern Lebanon, resulting in widespread destruction, terrorizing innocent civilians, and forcing thousands of families to flee their homes on the eve of Eid al-Adha, constitutes a violation of the ceasefire, which the enemy has never observed, with blatant American cover and complicity." It considered this attack "a blatant provocation and confirmation of premeditated aggressive intentions aimed at dragging Lebanon into a dangerous escalation through which the enemy seeks to expand and consolidate its occupation." The movement said, "While we pray to God to protect Lebanon and its people from all harm, we affirm the depth of the fraternal relations that unite the Lebanese and Palestinian peoples in the face of these attacks."
