Emma Raducanu ‘asks for crying child to be EJECTED from stadium' in tense exchange with umpire and crowd agree

EMMA RADUCANU called for a crying child to be ejected from the stadium during her Cincinnati Open clash with Aryna Sabalenka. The British star was serving at a crucial point in the deciding third set, when cries from the crowd disrupted her focus. Serving at 3-4 in the first set, Raducanu had to fend off several break points for the world No1. Stepping up to serve at deuce, Raducanu halted her motion and turned back after a child cried out. Frustrated, the British star turned to the umpire and said: "It's been, like, 10 minutes." Incredulous, the umpire said: "It's a child. Do you want me to kick the child out of the stadium?" Media companies are pairing their streaming services to offer bundled deals and boost customer stickiness, as viewers face steep price hikes and an overload of choice. The new package brings together Fox One, which offers Fox's sports, news, and entertainment content, and ESPN's new direct-to-consumer network, featuring professional and college football and basketball games. Both platforms are launching on August 21. "We continue to look for opportunities to streamline the user experience, especially for the ultimate sports fan," said Tony Billetter, senior vice president, strategy and business development at Fox Direct to Consumer. Fox's new subscription-based service is expected to help the company expand its audience beyond the mainstay cable television business.

Rio Ferdinand lands 'surprise new Man United role' - as Premier League icon prepares to replace him on TNT Sports

Rio Ferdinand is reportedly poised to work with Manchester United in a surprise new role for the coming months. The former United defender stepped away from his punditry role with TNT Sports in May after more than a decade of service. During the club's tour of the United States this summer, the 46-year-old was involved in media and commercial content. That included keeping a tour diary, documenting his travels around New York and Chicago and sharing his thoughts on the team's performances. He also starred on-camera in player interviews and helped out with matchday content as part of a short-term deal. According to The Sun, Ferdinand is 'likely' continue to work with them on a freelance basis over the next few months in a similar capacity. Rio Ferdinand is reportedly set to continue his media and commercial role with Man United There were reports that he was planning to move to Dubai with his wife Kate after he left TNT The same applies to Gary Neville, though he will have his ongoing commitment with Sky Sports. Meanwhile, Gareth Bale has joined TNT Sports as Ferdinand's replacement, as per The Guardian. Bale will work with the broadcaster across their Premier League and Champions League coverage for the 2025-26 campaign. The former Tottenham, Real Madrid, and Wales star has already dipped his toe into punditry for a handful of games last season. He made his 'debut' for TNT Sports in the Champions League when Liverpool beat Real Madrid 2-0 and also took up a mic in the Europa League final between Spurs and Manchester United. Bale was also involved in DAZN and Channel 5's coverage of the Club World Cup. Speaking about his TNT Sports exit earlier this season, Ferdinand said: 'Since retiring from football it has been a privilege talking about the game I love for a decade for sports fans watching on BT Sport and TNT Sports. 'I want to acknowledge the tremendous support from the team behind the scenes whose hard work often goes unseen but has been essential to our success. Gareth Bale will reportedly replace Ferdinand at TNT Sports for the coming campaign 'To everyone at TNT Sports, we have a brilliant end to the season to look forward to on Saturday and for now all focus will be on what I think could go down as one of the great European finals. 'The network continues to thrive with more rights than ever. I know I look forward to following its progress and the exciting future that lies ahead. 'Lastly I would like to thank my family and my management company New Era for their ongoing support. They have supported me to travel all over Europe following the best players and watching the best matches.' 'I'm excited about what the future holds, spending more time with my family focusing on Rio Ferdinand Presents and my other business interests. 'I hope to stay connected with all of you in different capacities. Thank you once again for everything.' There were reports that he had been planning to move to Dubai with his wife Kate Ferdinand and their family.
