Atheist Krishna, a beloved digital creator from Hyderabad known for blending humour, satire, and emotion, passed away on July 23 due to complications from pneumonia. His demise was confirmed by his brother through a WhatsApp message and has deeply saddened the Indian internet community.
Known online as 'Atheist Krishna," he rose to prominence for his clever memes, sharp satire, and, most notably, emotional Photoshop edits. His artwork, often depicting lost loved ones or cherished childhood moments, resonated with thousands, creating a unique blend of humour and heart that set him apart.

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar once praised his work in a personal video message, saying, 'Some of my friends follow your content and showed me the incredible work you do with Photoshop to bring smiles to people's faces. I recently showed one of your memes to our Prime Minister, and he had a hearty laugh. Keep spreading joy with your clean and honest humour."
Earlier, PM Modi also reposted one of his photoshopped video featuring him and wrote, 'Like all of you, I also enjoyed seeing myself dance. Such creativity in peak poll season is truly a delight! "
In recent weeks, Krishna was not keeping well and reportedly preparing for surgery when he contracted pneumonia. His condition deteriorated quickly, and he passed away at 4:30 am on Tuesday. His death was first announced by an internet user @nainaverse and was later confirmed by his family.
Tributes Pour In
Since then, tributes have poured in across social media, with fans, creators, and public figures expressing grief.
Actress Rupali Ganguly wrote, he 'wasn't just a master of visual satire, he was emotion wrapped in sarcasm and humour." She added, 'His Photoshop jokes made us smile and laugh, but his silence today leaves a void."
Author Anand Ranganathan also paid tribute, calling Krishna 'a brilliant mind" and 'a kind-hearted soul," sharing one of his works that conveyed its message with 'a gentle smile."
