33 Little Products That Will Add Some Big Summer Relief

A two-in-one nausea relief inhaler designed to work FAST on spontaneous nausea, motion sickness, morning sickness, and general queasiness (having a human body is hard). You can either use it as a scent inhaler or rub it directly on the tip of your nose for relief. Summer road trips and cruises just got a HECK of a lot more bearable.
A set of DEET-free handy mosquito-repelling bracelets for the ultimate in genius summer investments — these use essential oils, including citronella, to help stop those teensy vampires in their tracks.
And if it's entirely too late for that, a delightful little tool called the "Bug Bite Thing" — it suctions on all kinds of bug bites to reduce swelling, itchiness, and redness, so you don't spend half your summer itching your appendages.
A travel-friendly SPF 50 Airy Sunstick Smoothing Bar, a K-beauty staple with a curved balm stick style that makes it super easy to apply, and a nonsticky, white cast–free formula that plays ABSURDLY well with makeup. If you're looking for a lightweight "soft matte" sunscreen to protect your skin, this is your new BFF.
And Hawaiian Tropic's SPF 30 Mineral Powder Sunscreen Brush, aka your scalp's BFF this summer — reviewers don't just swear by this for face coverage and a protective setting powder, but for protecting their hairline without their hair getting goopy from sunscreen scalp sprays or regular sunscreen lotion. Bonus — this is a heck of a lot cheaper than its competitors, like the $35 Supergoop and $36 Brush On Block!
And if it's a little too late ... a handy as heck Burt's Bees sunburn soother you'll want to stock up on before you need it most! It's made with aloe and coconut oil to hydrate skin and gently relieve pain from the sun's unforgiving rays within just a few hours.

Biofreeze's new Dry Stick for "portable pain relief" that won't melt or get goopy in the summer heat — this mess-free, cooling solution for aches and pains all over your human body, whether it's your neck, shoulders, knees, hands, or many numerous joints. Its targeted menthol relief also works *fast* and is delightfully travel-friendly, unlike competing menthol creams.
Olay Super Serum Body Wash that will make anyone with dry summer skin REJOICE — this is packed with niacinamide, shea butter, and collagen peptides for 24-hour hydration that will make you feel as ~luminous~ as the sunshine. (Psst — this is the body wash version of their TikTok-famous, super effective facial Super Serum, so you KNOW they mean business.)
And Olay's Firming Body Lotion full of collagen peptides and a Vitamin B3 complex for *ultra* hydrating relief that's also designed to visibly plump, firm, and moisturize your skin — all at a fraction of the price of other firming lotions, like the internet's beloved $48 Elasti-Cream.
A pair of lightweight, entirely waterproof cloud pillow sandals for anyone whose feet are pretty little princesses who need to be pampered at all times. These are near weightless, but have a cushioned, thick sole that absorbs impact on hard floors and surfaces. Reviewers with arthritis and plantar fasciitis also swear by these for alleviating foot pain!
A pack of unscented SweatBlock wipes that work for up to *seven days* after application — perfect for those of us whose underarms are a little, uh, enthusiastic, to say the least. Reviewers especially swear by this for events that might bring on nervous sweating!
A set of popular, ridiculously affordable wickaway sweatbands for a quick fix to stop the sweat from stinging your eyes (or worse, from leaking sunscreen into your eyes).
A pair of sweatproof "floating" air conduction headphones designed to stay put by settling just over your ear instead of inside it — basically all the convenience and privacy of earbuds, without the discomfort of physically putting them in your ears. It picks up calls just as well as any other pair, and is designed so the sound isn't audible to anyone else!
A reusable, family-friendly sand eraser to *instantly* remove sand from your skin with a quick swipe so you don't feel like an itchy mermonster in the car all the way home.
A deliciously soothing, super gentle Briotech spray reviewers compare to the pricier Tower 28 SOS Spray. It's similarly designed with hypochlorous acid, which targets bacteria that causes acne, skin irritation, and blemishes *without* drying your skin. Reviewers swear by this handy little spray for helping not just with acne, but rosacea, eczema, dryness, dermatitis (scalp included!), and even toenail fungus.
A truly talented cooling towel you can use to prevent yourself from overheating — all you have to do is wet this to make it deliciously chilly for your neck or head. Once it warms up, you can wet it again to instantly get back the chill!
A set of satin pillowcases that not only have a cooling effect, but are soft on your skin and create less friction for your hair so it won't get as tangled while you sleep. Reviewers especially love these because they're an affordable alternative to ones that typically run $18 per case!
A cute lil' insect catcher you can set in a plant or near your fruit bowl or compost to deal with any unwanted fluttering guests. These odorless sticky traps are designed to work indoors and outdoors and will stop fruit flies, gnats, mosquitoes, and more — without the high price tag of the electronic or liquid versions.
A super lightweight, UPF protective travel umbrella for anyone who wants a durable, no frills option for rain and sun protection that they're not going to cry about if they forget it in a random Starbucks (don't look at meeeee).
A whisper-quiet WiFi-enabled smart air circulator fan you can control via app, Google Home, Alexa, or remote to keep yourself feeling easy breezy all summer long. Just ask the cast members of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which is how this luxe little gizmo got on some happy reviewers' radars!
And a 360-degree portable neck fan that puts all the other versions of it to shame — this one is designed with a comfier nonslip silicone neck grip and bladeless fans, so you don't have to worry about your hair getting caught in them.
Plus a six-pack of ultra quiet mini cell phone fans so the whole squad can comfortably cool off when you're spending long days in stadiums, festivals, or just at that one dive bar you all love that seems to be allergic to the words "air conditioning."
A fully adjustable portable backyard mister that coils itself like a lil' snake so you can aim it wherever you please, whether you're wrapping it around a railing, a chair, or propping it up next to yourself on a blanket. It may be teensy, but it will cool the area off by 20 degrees! This is the only pet snake situation I will be endorsing this summer, thank you very much.
A pair of popular quick-dry water shoes to keep your feet from burning or getting beaten up all summer — reviewers love these for everything from walking on rockier beaches to kayaking to washing their cars. They're flexible and comfy like a sock, but protective against nefarious objects like sharp rocks and stray Legos.
A set of seamless, delightfully absorbent cotton and bamboo liners, because even when you can take the heat, sometimes your boobs simply CANNOT. Now they can sweat in peace without you worrying about sweat stains on your favorite blouse.
A 360-degree rotatable electric car fan for the backseat that's handy whether or not your car has a functional AC — if you live in an area where your car scorches in the summer, you know full well that you'll take ANY KIND OF AIR YOU CAN GET. Parents especially swear by this to keep kiddos in rear-facing car seats cool!
A set of cult-favorite, absurdly affordable moisture-wicking exercise socks to spare you both from blisters and the ridiculous price of socks from name brands.
Plus a pack of Dr. Frederick's Original Better Blister Bandages, aka the blister whisperers — if you're someone who tends to get blisters when your feet sweat, you'll want to invest in these. These waterproof bandages don't just protect blisters, but are designed to actively help heal them (and significantly reduce the pain from friction!).
And last but certainly not least — a teensy undetectable laptop mouse jiggler you can slide into the USB to keep your computer active on Teams, Slack, and all those other various technological overlords that keep track of you so you can take some moments to yourself in the sunshine when you need it. ☀️😎

Ulike Hair Removal: A Look At The Brand's Most Advanced IPL Device
This article was created in partnership with Ulike to showcase its Air 10 IPL hair removal device. The Air 10 is designed with cutting-edge features to help you achieve smooth skin that lasts. Swimsuit season is here, and you might be considering ways to get rid of stubborn body hair. As an alternative to razors or at-home waxing kits, which have short-term results, Ulike hair removal devices use intense pulsed light (IPL) technology to target melanin in the hair follicles, putting them into a dormant state to hinder further growth. The brand's most advanced device—the lightweight Ulike Air 10—is built to deliver full-body hair reduction with results in as little as two weeks. Plus, its skin protection and cooling features help ensure safety and comfort with each session. Right now, you can save 26% on your purchase. Here's everything you need to know about the Ulike Air 10 so you can decide if it's right for you (make sure to refer to the brand's hair and skin tone chart to determine if IPL hair removal is a suitable option for you). Flashes: 300,000 | Light type: IPL | Power modes: 4 | FDA-cleared: Yes The Ulike Air 10 has a wide treatment surface and powerful dual lights to visibly reduce hair in just two weeks when you use it every other day. With the device's quick-flashing AutoGlide mode, you can tackle your legs, armpits, arms, bikini line, face and chest in around 10 minutes. Sapphire Ice Cooling technology helps the Air 10 maintain a 65-degree-Fahrenheit contact temperature to minimize burns, pain and irritation with use—even in sensitive regions. Plus, its SkinSensor automatically adapts the intensity of each flash to your skin tone, pausing in areas that are darker (and therefore absorb higher levels of energy) to ensure adequate protection. The Ulike Air 10's four power modes allow you to customize treatment depending on how thick your hair is and which body part you are targeting. Fast mode is ideal for regular maintenance, large areas and quick touch-ups; Normal is best for removing fine-to-normal hair on most body parts; High is meant for removing coarse hair on the arms, legs, chest and back; and the laser-inspired Super Hair Removal (SHR) mode powerfully disrupts growth on the armpits, chest, beard or bikini line. When you use SHR mode for your every-other-day sessions in the first two weeks, you can expect up to a 96% reduction in hair density. IPL offers a range of benefits compared to other hair removal options. While shaving and waxing can cause redness, burns and skin irritation, and only remove hair for a short period of time, IPL is nearly painless for most and delivers long-lasting results. In terms of convenience, laser hair removal usually requires visiting a clinic for professional treatment, but you can use the Ulike Air 10 from the comfort of your home. Plus, it's a far less expensive method than laser hair removal, and you skip the costs of either salon or at-home waxing treatments or shaving supplies as well. The Ulike Air 10 is currently 26% off, so if you shop now, you can save even more. To use the Ulike Air 10, prepare your skin by shaving hairs longer than 2mm. Then pick your mode, place the device against your target area and engage the flashes to begin treatment. The brand recommends using the Air 10 three times a week for the first month followed by biweekly or monthly sessions for touch-ups. Each treatment encourages body hair to grow back thinner, lighter and less often. Flashes: 300,000 | Light type: IPL | Power modes: 3 | FDA-cleared: Yes The Air 3—Ulike's baseline hair removal device—is easy to use and provides noticeable hair reduction in as little as three weeks, making it Forbes Vetted's pick for the best full-body at-home laser hair removal device. Use Soft mode for your face and upper lip, Body mode for your arms and legs, and Power mode for your bikini area and armpits. You can remove hair from your entire body in about 12 minutes using the thumb-free AutoGlide mode. Plus, like the Air 10, the Air 3 is designed with Sapphire Ice Cooling technology to help prevent burns and irritation. Flashes: 300,000 | Light type: IPL | Power modes: 3 | FDA-cleared: Yes While Ulike devices are gender-neutral, the Ulike X features a mode with high energy output to tackle the thick body hair commonly found on men's armpits, face, pubic area, abdomen and more. It has a wide treatment window and dual lights for effective results, cooling technology and sensors to safely adjust the intensity of flashes. The intensity levels are Normal for eliminating fine to medium hair, Fast for quick touch-ups and High for thick, coarse hair. Additional modes include AutoGlide for treating large areas and Manual for precise removal. While Ulike hair removal devices can't permanently stop hair from growing back, regular maintenance sessions help keep the follicles dormant, preventing regrowth over time. For prolonged results, the brand recommends one or two treatments per month (after doing three sessions a week for the first month). You might be able to stop using the device for an extended period; however, it's possible your hair will return in six to 12 weeks, requiring additional follow-up sessions. While laser hair removal works by flashing rays to burn hair follicles, IPL uses mild light beams that induce follicles into a dormant state. While side effects are possible with either approach, those caused by IPL tend to be less severe. Ulike hair removal is also nearly painless for most, due to having a lower intensity than laser and incorporating cooling technology into its devices. IPL also uses a broad spectrum of light that can adjust to different skin types and hair colors; laser hair removal uses an intense, single-focused wavelength that is more likely to cause damage.

Portraits of Fatherhood from the Barbershop With Vince Garcia
Ahead of Father's Day on June 15,Dior Beauty, in conversation with renowned barber andDior SauvageGrooming AmbassadorVince Garcia, celebrates a new generation of men redefining what it means to lead with intention in their respective communities as professionals and fathers. Centered in the heart of the barbershop — a cultural hub in its own right — Garcia talks shop with founder and managing partner ofTeam EpiphanyColtrane Curtisand the founder ofBrooklyn Stroll Club,Joe Gonzales, about the importance of self-care and shaping their legacies through fatherhood, community building, and entrepreneurship. Hypebeast met up with the squad at Well Connected, a barbershop in the Lower East Side neighborhood, to see Garcia's expert lineups in motion. A trusted barber for over 23 years, Garcia has become a go-to name for celebrities and athletes. His ability to provide razor-sharp advice for friends and loved ones lucky enough to grace his chair has catapulted his career to new heights. Appearances on HBO'sThe Shopand his ongoing Dior ambassadorship showcase a growing legacy forged by precision, authenticity and dedication. Garcia often jokes that barbers double as therapists — his service creates space for candid conversations about fatherhood, success and raising the next generation to stay true to their values. Coltrane and Gonzales, both arriving for a well-deserved shape-up, speak with the A-list barber about how he keeps himself and his clients in top shape and the nuances of balancing work ventures with familial commitments. During his sessions, Garcia spotlights the benefits of theDior Sauvage Skincare Ritual Set, including the charcoal-infused cleanser, a toner formulated with cactus extract and a serum. Combined in a three-step program, these products help minimize the appearance of pores and clarify the skin, bringing anti-aging benefits and casual luxury to men's daily routines. 'More people are tapping into self-care, especially with men sharing more self-care routines on social media, there's more out there to help men feel confident. It's a part of my job to help educate my clients on products they can benefit from,' says Garcia. He credits the serum with providing a glowy complexion post-shave, using it in combination with the toner to help soften and hydrate Coltrane's skin and beard. Beautifying is rarely perceived as masculine, but in Garcia's chair, it becomes a badge of strength, where men see the real-time benefits of carving time out in the day to maintain their appearances. Grooming, like fatherhood, has a transformative power to radically change how one self-actualizes. 'When it comes to grooming,' shares Gonzales, 'I want my son to see me looking and feeling amazing so he can do the same and know how to represent himself out there.' On the subject of strength and teaching his children the equal importance of vulnerability, Garcia admits it's a delicate process that continues to illuminate his parenting. 'Communication is key. I'm still learning and trying to improve every day,' he says. 'It's the balance of finding those moments of vulnerability and showing your kids that it's okay to feel. It's okay to express. They are like sponges, so they see and hear how I react to certain situations. It's about being more mindful and intentional with their time, being as present as possible, and giving them the tools to feel safe to move throughout the world.' Coltrane Curtis also attests to teaching his boys that strength is not the quality of tearing others down. At the helm of Team Epiphany, a full-service marketing agency known for buzzworthy campaigns and experiential events, Coltrane manages a hectic schedule alongside his wife, who he shares two sons, ages six and thirteen. 'I was just having a similar conversation about earning your place in culture,' he tells Hypebeast. 'Image, appearance, presence — everything that you do creates a conversation that allows people to understand your depth, your brilliance and how sharp you are. There's still the need to have substance, but your image is the gatekeeper in a sense to those entry points — to socializing and opportunities made from first impressions.' As the conversation shifts to support systems that help men grow into fatherhood, Coltrane also shares thoughts on the importance of establishing a chosen family through communal outreach. 'It's a matter of being able to wholeheartedly trust the community that you build around them and help raise them with. I raise my children with the same amount of love and protection that I want my community to give.' Next up in the chair is Joe Gonzales, the founder and heart and soul behind theBrooklyn Stroll Club, a community of fathers in the tristate area who meet up for casual hangouts around the city with their children. Before providing a razor shave, Garcia applies the charcoal cleanser to Gonzales, massaging the product in and letting it rest as an impromptu facial mask to remove impurities and refine his complexion. Enjoying the benefits of the mask as it dries down, Gonzales notes that forging community is a self-care gesture ingrained in self-perseverance, and as a first-time father, the Brooklyn Stroll Club is his social lifeline. 'I see it being the place where dads can feel seen. I don't even know who I was before I became a dad, and it's such a beautiful process,' Gonzales shares with the group. The club provides a space for dads to bond with their children and build support structures that strengthen their ability to acclimate to the demands of parenting — from diapers to nap schedules. 'We hope to continue to build a space that gives dads community and confidence, and hopefully that builds into more as time goes on. It's a space for me to find people who are going through similar things [as a father].' Similarly, mentorship opportunities have allowed Garcia to make impactful connections with the city's youth. 'I've worked a lot with the Boys and Girls Club and was previously a part of a foundation called Trade-Works, where we would go to Jamaica and Kingston and teach kids the importance of barbering and tools to become confident and successful,' shares Garcia. 'It's as simple as giving back, embracing my culture as a Filipino, and exploring larger ways that I can elevate and educate those around me.' Many parents can attest to reevaluating their relationships to health upon the arrival of their first child. At one point during the discussion, Coltrane cites the passing of his father as emotional fuel to invest in his long-term health while also passing along the importance of maintaining one's mental health and spirit. 'I've been vulnerable and honest with [my kids] about my experiences regarding health and mental health. Hopefully, my goal is to help them not walk through the same portals of sheer ignorance and fear. Things happen, things come up, but there are solutions. Sometimes it's just a matter of reminding yourself that your children are emotionally intelligent and capable of learning hard life lessons with grace,' he shares. Those little moments of care, for oneself and for others, reverberate throughout a lifetime. It takes a village, and for what it's worth, fathers deserve their flowers too.
