Dave Grohl's family united to the tune of love.
The Foo Fighters frontman took the stage with his and wife Jordyn Blum's 18-year-old daughter Violet at the FireAid benefit concert in Los Angeles Jan. 30.
In his first performance since he revealed he fathered a baby outside of his marriage, the 55-year-old was also joined by his former Nirvana bandmates Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear for the first time since 2020 as they surprised the audience by performing some of the band's beloved songs, including "Breed," "School," and 'Territorial Pissings," during the Los Angeles wildfire relief fund raiser.
While Dave returned to his Nirvana roots by taking his place behind the drum kit, Violet surprised the audience as she appeared on stage and performed the band's final song of the evening, 'All Apologies.' In clips shared across social media from the moment, Dave could be seen smiling while rocking out on the drums behind his daughter.

The Nirvana alums—whose lead singer Kurt Cobain died at the age of 27 in 1994—were also joined by St. Vincent, Kim Gordon, Joan Jett who each did vocals throughout the set.
Violet is no stranger to taking the stage with her dad. In 2023, Violet joined the Foo Fighters to perform at the Glastonbury Music Festival.
While Dave made a rare appearance on his birthday Jan. 14, as he worked with the Feed The Streets Los Angeles to provide meals for displaced residents, and first responders of the wildfires, the 'Everclear' singer has kept out of the spotlight in recent months in the wake of his cheating scandal.
In September, Dave—who also shares daughters Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10—with Jordyn—revealed his infidelity and made public apology to his wife of 21 years and their children.
'I've recently become a father to a baby born outside of my marriage,' he wrote on Instagram Sept. 10. 'I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her.'
"I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness,' he wrote. 'We're grateful for your consideration toward all children involved as we move forward together."

Sydney Sweeney Reacts to Her Used Bathwater Going Viral

Originally appeared on E! Online Sydney Sweeney is soaping up the attention. The Anyone But You star recently made waves—literally—when she announced a partnership with Dr. Squatch for a limited-edition line of bar soaps that include an unusual, key ingredient: her actual bathwater. And in the time since, the collab has made quite the splash online. 'I think it's more fun to see everyone else talk about it,' Sydney admitted to E! News at the premiere of her new film Echo Valley on June 4, adding on how the product came to be, 'I pitched it.' (For more with Sydney, tune into E! News tonight, June 5 at 11 p.m.) After all, as Sydney pointed out in her announcement post, when she first partnered with Dr. Squatch back in December—in a commercial she filmed from a bathtub—fans couldn't get enough. 'You kept asking about my bathwater after the @drsquatch ad…' she captioned her May 30 post. 'So we kept it.' The end result? A teal-colored bar of soap called Sydney's Bathwater Bliss (available June 6). More from E! One such endeavor has been her new Apple TV+ film Echo Valley, where the Euphoria star plays daughter to as the two battle to keep a dark secret hidden. It was a project she said gave her 'so many reasons' to say yes. 'The character, Claire, is such a multi-layered, troubled young woman,' she explained. 'And being able to explore a character that has so many dimensional relationships with their mother, it's fun.' And working opposite such a powerhouse like Julianne, which Sydney described as 'such a dream,' was an added perk. 'She is beyond kind,' the Euphoria actress gushed. 'Like one of the kindest human beings I've ever met.' Echo Valley premieres on Apple TV+ June 13. Bill Maher explains how Trump and Musk went from ‘Brangelina' to ‘Godzilla vs. King Kong'

The fiery feud between President Trump and Elon Musk is the most exciting public breakup since the days of Brangelina, according to Bill Maher. The late-night comedian compared the public warfare and vitriol to that of 'Godzilla vs. King Kong if Godzilla was on ketamine and King Kong had a combover.' The big beautiful break-up is even more shocking because Trump and Musk were 'so close,' like celebrity couples Brad Pitt and Angeline Jolie, and Ben Affleck and Jen Lopez, whose seemingly strong but ultimately whirlwind romances gripped tabloids for decades. Advertisement 3 Bill Maher compared President Trump to King Kong if he 'had a combover.' AFP via Getty Images 'They had their own couple name: E-lump,' Maher said. But like the actor pairings, the Musk and Trump demise was a long time coming, he continued. Advertisement 'I can't really think of anything other than the Trump-Elon [fight],' Maher said in his opening monologue Frday for HBO's 'Real Time.' The talk host did a brief rundown of the pair's political breakdown, pinpointing the potential beginning of the end to Trump's meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz in the Oval Office last week when Musk showed up sporting a black eye. 3 The feud started when Elon Musk declined Trump's offer to borrow makeup, according to Maher. Getty Images The President claimed he offered makeup to the former Department of Government Efficiency head, but was turned down, which he found 'interesting.' Advertisement 'Yeah, weird, Elon, what sort of man turns down makeup?' Maher chided. The feud slowly simmered as the pair lobbed further accusations against one another, including Musk claiming Trump's tariffs would cause a recession and the President responding that no one wants to buy Tesla's electric vehicles — but 's–t got real' when Musk claimed he was the reason Trump won the election. 3 Trump and Musk had their own couple name, Maher aid: 'E-lump.' MAX 'And Trump said, 'Well, you know what Mars is a s–thole planet.' And Musk said, 'Oh my god, you are not the same man I used to heil,'' Maher said. Advertisement The fighting has only grown worse in recent days, with Musk shockingly claiming on X that Trump's involvement in the Epstein files is the reason they haven't been released. Musk has since deleted the X post. Trump, on the other hand, has tried to play it cool, saying he hasn't given much thought to his former 'First Buddy.' 'The stakes are so high because the winner faces Blake Lively,' Maher joked, referencing the recent public downfall of the actress's previously beloved image. Any good feeling between the two men is likely gone after Musk stepped up his criticism of the Trump-backed 'Big, Beautiful Bill' — and then called for the impeachment of the president and a new political party to challenge the GOP.

The best streaming deals for the week: Find out how to save on YouTube TV, ESPN+ and more

With so many streaming services out there, it can be overwhelming from both a content perspective (so many original shows to binge! And why do the biggest ones always seem to drop at once?) and a budgetary one (so many monthly fees!). If you're trying to find ways to make your monthly bills a little less painful though, you've got a few options. There are all kinds of streaming bundles available right now, so whether you're interested in the best deals on live sports, the best way to watch all your favorite shows, or some combination of both, we can help. (And help save you money in the process.) This week, there are tons of great deals to choose from. From discounts on YouTube TV to sports subscriptions like ESPN+, DAZN, there's something for everyone, and it's all on sale. Oh, and if you think there are no discounts for Netflix, we've got the scoop on how to subscribe to them for less, too. We've narrowed down a list of the best streaming bundles and deals in one place so you can decide which one works best for your viewing habits. Among the best streaming deals this week, you can subscribe to Starz for just $3 per month, get a deal on YouTube TV, or snag a great discount on DIRECTV. If you're a student (and aren't already on a family streaming plan), a few services offer great limited-time discounts, including Max, which offers 50% off their ad-supported plan (so you'll pay $4.99, though the offer is only good for one 12-month period), and Peacock, which costs students $2.99/month. (And note that you can often find a similar deal on Peacock around Black Friday even if you're not a student.) But the best streaming offer for students might just be Hulu's: They offer students a rate of just $1.99/month for as long as you offer proof of enrollment. Some of the best discounts around aren't through special sales, they're through your cell phone provider. T-Mobile offers discounts or free subscriptions to Apple TV+, Hulu, and Netflix (Standard with Ads), Verizon offers discounted $10 subscriptions to the Disney+/Hulu/ESPN+ bundle, a Netflix/Max bundle, and YouTube Premium, and select Cricket Wireless plans get Max (with Ads) for free. If you have or want to switch to Xfinity for your internet or cable provider, you can add a $15 streaming bundle into the mix, the Xfinity Streamsaver bundle, which includes three streamers putting out some of the best original content around: Apple TV+, Netflix (Standard with ads) and Peacock. Xfinity internet plans start at $30/month, bringing your total for the Streamsaver bundle to $45/month (that's $10 of savings vs. subscribing to all those services individually). If you're a Spectrum customer, there's a similar cable and streaming bundle available as well and it won't even cost you anything: If you subscribe to Spectrum and opt for a TV Select cable plan or higher, you'll receive free ad-supported subscriptions to Disney+, ViX, Paramount+, as well as Max, which was just recently added to their offerings.
