Celebrity Catchphrase host Stephen Mulhern left red-faced after suffering a hilarious gaffe

Celebrity Catchphrase host Stephen Mulhern was left red-faced after making the ultimate slip-up on Saturday's episode of the show. The host, 48, showed a clip of the latest guess the catchphrase question which featured a coffee shop with rapidly increasing prices. As guests Jeremy Vine, Charlie Hedges and comedian Luke Kempner watched on as the prices continued to increase through the coffee shop roof, the host failed to give them the opportunity to answer. Stephen said: 'Literally, the prices have gone through the roof!' A hilariously awkward silence then fell over the studio when Stephen realised what he had done. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Then Jeremy, 60, jokingly pressed his buzzer and said: 'Sorry, what? Was that the answer?' Stephen, who was clearly in disbelief at his mistake, proceeded to nod before the studio, celebs and audience burst into laughter. He admitted: 'I have never in my life done that. In 10 years!' Luke Kempner joked: 'I was just thinking 'this is a very tricky one, if it's not that!' He then noted that the host had just bagged himself £200 for a charity of his choice. 'We've got a bit of Catchphrase history here!' Jeremy added before joking of the host's predecessor: 'Roy Walker never did that.' Stephen then managed to get his professional hat back on after the fail and proceeded with the game, which sees celebs try to win up to £50,000 for a charity of their choice. The show has proven so popular that it has just had the go-ahead for its 11th season, despite other cuts being made to rival shows on mainstream television. This has affected Stephen, whose other show, In For A Penny, was given the axe after six years. ITV commissioner Gemma John-Lewis said: 'We're delighted to announce a further series of the much-loved family favourite, Celebrity Catchphrase. 'The only show where you say what you see, the hugely popular series continues to win legions of fans and with Stephen's infectious and playful humour it's a firm favourite with our viewers.' The show first hit screens back in March 2018 and has featured many big-name contestants including Kelly Osbourne and Anton du Beke. Celebrity Catchphrase's predecessor, simply known as Catchphrase, first aired way back in 1985 when it was presented by Roy Walker. The show ran on and off until 2013 when it was revived by Stephen Mulhern.

Olivia Rodrigo, 22, brings rock legend, 73, on stage at Gov Ball... but 'not a single kid there knew him'

Oliva Rodrigo brought out a special guest during her performance at 2025 Governors Ball Music Festival on Saturday night, but some of her fans were scratching their heads as to who it was. The singer, who was seen glammed up last week at an appearance for Lancôme in Manhattan, New York, invited none other than David Byrne from Talking Heads to sing with her. The two came together for a rocking rendition of one of Talking Heads' biggest hits, 1983's Burning Down the House, during the set at Flushing Meadows - Corona Park in Queens, NY. Byrne, 73, wore red overalls and a white T-shirt to coordinate with Rodrigo's sparkling red bra top and brief bottoms. The pair choreographed the performance with some simple dance moves that Talking Heads fans would recognize right away. While some were blown away by the collaboration, many of Rodrigo's fans seemed to have no idea about the Byrne's stature in the music community. 'What I imagine dancing in my underwear with my dad would be like,' was one comment. 'As millennial, this is before and after my time,' wrote a follower. 'Bet many of her fans said who's that old man she invited on stage,' joked one fan on Billboard's Instagram page. 'Much respect to her because 90% of her demographic is 100% confused by this,' one person commented on the Pop Base page on X. Another added, 'If you don't know who David Byrne is, you don't get to have an opinion.' 'Can't hate on someone trying to open up a whole new generation's ears to some great music,' agreed another. 'Yeah unfortunately I can see how Olivia's usual crowd doesn't quite understand the moment but it's still awesome nonetheless,' said one commenter on the Fauxmoi page on Reddit, which also shared a video clip of the performance. Another Reddit commenter praised Rodrigo for introducing her fans to other members of the music community. In the past she has collaborated with Sheryl Crow, Alanis Morissette, Jewel, Natalie Imbruglia and Avril Lavigne. While some were blown away by the collaboration, many of Rodrigo's fans seemed to have no idea about the Byrne's stature in the music community Music fans not familiar with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members can learn more about them in the 1984 concert film Stop Making Sense. The movie was re-released in 2023,which is available of various streaming services. On June 5, the band released the very first video for their 1977 hit Psycho Killer starring Saoirse Ronan. 'Made in celebration of 50th anniversary of the band's first show at CBGB's, the video follows a young woman unraveling while stuck in her daily routine. It's a disquieting portrait of isolation that echoes the tension at the heart of the iconic song,' the band wrote on their Instagram page to debut the short film. Rodrigo is still traveling on her Guts World Tour. Her next stop will be Dublin, Ireland on June 24.

Justin Bieber shares video with Chris Brown as his posting spree sparks concern

After Justin Bieber shared an Instagram post with a cryptic caption about 'transactional relationships', some of his fans urged him to seek help as they expressed concern for him Justin Bieber's fans have expressed their concern for the singer after he admitted that he is "tired of transactional relationships" in a new post on social media. The Baby singer shared a series of statements on Instagram today, including a cryptic caption alongside two black-and-white selfies. He wrote: "Tired of transactional relationships. If I have to do something to be loved, that's not love." Amid his posting spree on Instagram, the Peaches hitmaker also shared a video of controversial singer Chris Brown. ‌ In the footage shared on Justin's Instagram Stories, Chris can be seen dancing and randomly yelling. Brown, who was released from a UK prison on bail last month, is set to perform in Amsterdam this evening. Justin captioned the video of Brown with the word "mood". ‌ The father-of-one, who shares little Jack Blues with his wife Hailey Bieber, also seemed to reflect on his emotional exhaustion in an additional post - and many of his followers took to the comment section to express concern. "Someone needs to do a wellness check. He is NOT OK," one wrote. Someone else described Justin as "the Britney Spears of our generation" while a fan assured him: "You are loved by us, the real beliebers." One more urged Justin to "get help" saying: "Bro stop posting and get help I'm serious." One reflected: "Love is transactional, that's the point, that's real love. Love is not supposed to be unconditional, unless it's your child. You can't love someone who doesn't give you anything to love them for. This post sounds like it's coming from a 20-year-old, not from someone who is in their 30s with a wife and kid." A fan added: "Your son loves you unconditionally. He doesn't know you're THE Justin Bieber! He just knows you as Dad, and for him that's enough!" Someone else defended Justin by saying: "To the people in the comments being negative: Justin has been venting and sharing his feelings on his social media for years now. ‌ "It's really honorable to see a person of his caliber be so open with his thoughts. It takes a strong person to admit to the world that some days are harder than others. Stop shaming him for sharing. He's a raw and vulnerable human who goes through the motions like the rest of us. Let him share and be real. It makes him admirable." Sharing more reflections on his Instagram Stories, Justin also addressed the pressure he has felt during his careers when he was urged to work harder. He said: "I don't think any of us can handle hearing, 'You just gotta try a little harder and you will be like me.' It's not true. I listened to those fools who told me to work harder. And there's no end to trying to earn ur spot in this life because I tried." He added: "U have everything u need right now." ‌ In another recent post, he wrote: "U could point at my flaws. Or u could recognize ur own lil b****," before adding a red droplet emoji. But this admission also caused concern among fans as one said: "So hard and sad to watch. Why are the people around him not helping him when he's clearly struggling. He's not clear at all and hurting." Some of his followers have also urged Justin to take a break from social media due to his lengthy rants. In an Instagram post this week, over a pink background, he shared with his followers: "Telling other humans they deserve something is like raising someone else's kids. Who are you to tell someone what someone should or shouldn't have. "The audacity. That's not your place. God decides what we deserve." One fan commented: "God told me you need a social media break," - and over 21,000 people liked the comment.
