Trump Calls Situation in Gaza ‘Tragic' Amid US Support for Genocide
The American president made his remarks during a visit to Scotland, where he is meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
'I told Israel, I told Bibi [Benjamin Netanyahu] that you're going to now maybe have to do it a different way… It's a tragic situation, frankly,' he said.
In response to the starvation war launched by the IOF against civilians in Gaza, Trump stressed that people in the region need food and safety 'right now.'
According to the Palestinian news agency, at least 10 more people have died from hunger in the past 24 hours. Over the last three days alone, more than 25 children have also succumbed, bringing the forced starvation death toll to at least 143 people.
The news agency said an estimated 900,000 children are suffering from hunger. About 70,000 of them have entered critical stages of malnutrition.
In addition to famine, the IOF continues to claim people's lives. Since early morning hours, the IOF has killed at least 41 Palestinians. The number includes nine aid seekers.
The death toll of the Israeli genocidal war has reached at least 59,821 since October 2023. Many victims' bodies remain trapped under the rubble, and over 141,851 are injured due to merciless Israeli assaults across Gaza. Tags: Aid looting GazaDonald Trump

Morocco to Send Further Humanitarian Assistance to Gaza
Rabat – Morocco reportedly seeks to send more humanitarian aid to Gaza, asking Israel to allow the aid to enter the Palestinian enclave, which has been subjected to a starvation war and genocide since October 2023. Israel Hayom reported today that King Mohammed VI previously asked Benjamin Netanyahu to allow humanitarian assistance to enter Gaza from Morocco. 'Morocco wants to fly in aid, mainly food, to Ben-Gurion Airport and then transport it by truck to the Kerem Shalom crossing,' the news outlet added. It added that the request has been discussed by Israel's National Security Council to review the feasibility of Morocco's request. The plan reportedly involves the eighth Hercules transport fleet. If confirmed, the news will further reflect Morocco's ongoing commitment to the humanitarian campaign for Gaza. In July, Bayt Mal Al Quds Asharif agency implemented the third phase of Morocco's humanitarian aid campaign, which includes a variety of fresh vegetables among other supplies. In June 2024, Morocco's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said King Mohammed VI had sent urgent directives to deploy a medical aid operation for the people in Gaza. The aid package included 40 tons of medical supplies, with the aim of addressing medical needs amid the IOF's genocide. In March of the same year, Morocco also sent 40 tons of humanitarian aid to alleviate the situation in Gaza. The North African kingdom has consistently called for the entry of humanitarian aid into the enclave, as well as the lifting of the blockade and an immediate ceasefire to halt Israel's genocidal war. People have been starving to death as Israel troops continue their relentless attacks on Palestinian homes. According to converging reports, famine has so far killed at least 154 Palestinians, including many children. In the past 24 hours alone, seven people, including a child, succumbed to starvation. To date, a total of 89 children have died of starvation. Tags: Children killed in Gazahumanitarian aid

Hamas Delegation Leaves Qatar for Turkey After Ceasefire Talks Stall
Rabat — Hamas negotiators left Qatar's capital Doha on Tuesday and traveled to Turkey to discuss the latest developments after ceasefire talks with Israel reached a deadlock. In a statement to AFP, a senior Hamas official said that a high-level delegation led by Mohammed Darwish, chairman of the movement's steering council, departed for Istanbul. The delegation includes the negotiation team and its leader, Khalil al-Hayya. 'The delegation will hold several meetings with Turkish officials about the latest developments in the ceasefire negotiations, which broke down last week,' the official said. Indirect talks between Israeli and Hamas delegations ran for more than two weeks under the supervision of mediating countries, including Qatar, Egypt, and the US. The negotiations aimed to reach a ceasefire agreement and secure the release of Israeli hostages, nearly 22 months after the Israeli genocide started. President Donald Trump claimed on Friday that Hamas 'didn't want a deal' and wanted to 'die,' while his envoy Steve Witkoff had acknowledged the talks' failure the day before and questioned Hamas' good faith. Bassem Naim, a member of Hamas' political bureau, told AFP on Friday that recent discussions focused on details of Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) withdrawal from the Gaza Strip. Other Hamas officials expressed surprise at US statements from the US, particularly taking issue with the suggestion that the negotiations were making progress. On Tuesday, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar rejected international pressure for a ceasefire, saying it would be a 'tragedy' if Israel stopped its genocidal war on Gaza while Hamas remains in power and continues to hold hostages. Negotiations between Hamas and Israel have been stalled for months, primarily delayed by the Israeli side. Meanwhile, IOF imposed a border closure and denied entry of food and humanitarian aid to the Palestinian enclave, leading to the death of over 133 civilian Gazans due to famine-related issues.
