Trump Calls Situation in Gaza ‘Tragic' Amid US Support for Genocide
The American president made his remarks during a visit to Scotland, where he is meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
'I told Israel, I told Bibi [Benjamin Netanyahu] that you're going to now maybe have to do it a different way… It's a tragic situation, frankly,' he said.
In response to the starvation war launched by the IOF against civilians in Gaza, Trump stressed that people in the region need food and safety 'right now.'
According to the Palestinian news agency, at least 10 more people have died from hunger in the past 24 hours. Over the last three days alone, more than 25 children have also succumbed, bringing the forced starvation death toll to at least 143 people.
The news agency said an estimated 900,000 children are suffering from hunger. About 70,000 of them have entered critical stages of malnutrition.
In addition to famine, the IOF continues to claim people's lives. Since early morning hours, the IOF has killed at least 41 Palestinians. The number includes nine aid seekers.

The North African kingdom has consistently called for the entry of humanitarian aid into the enclave, as well as the lifting of the blockade and an immediate ceasefire to halt Israel's genocidal war. People have been starving to death as Israel troops continue their relentless attacks on Palestinian homes. According to converging reports, famine has so far killed at least 154 Palestinians, including many children. In the past 24 hours alone, seven people, including a child, succumbed to starvation.
